Quiet park, very clean. Sites can be a little tight but still a nice CG. Trolley into the town was great.

very accomodating, like the grills they installed, there is a slight concern in the soft floor in cabin 3, but I am sure they will be on it before we come back next year. Shuttle situation was a nightmare this year

Beautiful location. The host was great and very helpful. Very clean laundry room and bathrooms. Very convenient having the trolley to ride into Deadwood.

Low hanging tree branch dragged across the top of our motorhome when we were arriving. A couple times the man at the counter was rude. When our friends were helping us relocate for another night they were leaving so they pulled out and parked where no one was and the man came out and was exceptionally rude and just kept yelling at us. It only took 15 min. We liked Spearfish better. Not returning!!

Don’t recommend the back-in sites at all. They are so tight it’s almost impossible to get in them if the sites on either side or full. There’s no place to park your truck except halfway in the road even at an angle. If you have a pet, the dog park is nice. Not much in the way of maintenance. The hot tub didn’t work at all—jets or heat—and no one was very concerned.

Due to a local event the only available accommodations was a primitive tent site however all sites are within a short distance to a bath/toilet house. We didn’t take advantage of the KOA store but it was well stocked and certainly would come in handy if we had needed any items. Manager is very very rude, and as we pulled out we stopped to help our other group in there RV, and he yelled at my family saying he was to call the cops and got in my face about parking out of the way, "NOT in my spot" will never return until he is gone.

For the money charged for the cabin, it should have AC. It was very hot and also the campsites are tiny and on top of each other. Staff was friendly and restrooms were clean.

Great stay! We really enjoyed our stay at the Deadwood KOA. Staff were so friendly and helpful during our week visit. I would get up early every morning and walk about to prepare for my day and it was always we kept, we had good space between other guests on each side of us. We were in the area with the park, no kids were visiting this week but it was quite.

We stayed in Lodge 2 and loved it! It was a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. We did not get a chance to meet Debra, but Arni was friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay at KOA Deadwood again!

Beautiful site! Bathrooms exceptionally clean. Close to Deadwood. Convenient store for items you may forget. Nice play space for dogs. Would stay here again!

Clean water, good phone service and WiFi. This is an older park, however. --For whatever reason, the sites are quite small and the park can be difficult to negotiate for larger motor homes, particularly if the motor home is towing a "dingy" vehicle. I noted that these MH's would routinely exit the wrong way -- out the entrance road -- to avoid the narrow, tight turns at some points.

Great host and the campground is clean and is nicely arranged in the Blackhills of South Dakota's. Easy interstate access and great Blackhill's scenic roads.

They provided us with the necessities we needed. Washer and dryer saved us when it rained and our tent windows were open. However the bathrooms up by the tent sites really need some TLC (mold) and the hot tub wasn't hot and didn't bubble so we couldn't relax at the end of the day of a long ride while it was chilly out.

We are a 20 foot van and we’re lucky to be put in a tent site which was a much nicer area than where all the RVs were - that area was very crowded and had no trees. Washrooms nice and people very friendly.

My daughter and I as part of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America stay there every year. We will be back next year. The location to Deadwood, Sturgis motorcycle rally, and Black Hills is the best. Have make many friends at the KOA Deadwood over the years.

Nice campground overall. They have morning breakfasts that were good but are only served on weekdays. If your tenting know that most of the tent sites appear to be on a ridge that overlooks the highway so you will get traffic noise.

Beautiful location. Arrived with a motorcycle on a trailer. Gary was amazing. He was friendly, accommodating, and not only did he help me safely dismount my bike, he helped move my trailer to a site I upgraded to. Above and beyond service. Motorcycle and dog friendly site.

Best KOA of all! The owners are all amazing. The best restrooms and they keep improving them! I wish they could remain open year-round. They are almost a boutique KOA! The BEST!
