This campground is a little tight to get in and out of. It is build into hills,so its in levels. The owners are very nice and the campground and bathhouse is clean .

We truly wanted internet and a mini refrigerator in our cabin so the lack of these two things lowers this rating. Climbing the steep hills in order to access the delicious pool and store was daunting. However we loved our “treehouse” cabin!

Loved our stay and the facilities were awesome! Only complaint I have is we had loud drunk neighbors at back of tent area and tried calling office to have them come and quiet down the group but no one would answer the phone. That left me walking up on a group of drunks to ask them to quiet down at 2am, not fun. Recommend putting mulch tent pad sites with electric and leveling. Worth the stay!

what a treasure! love Deadwood. Trolly takes you to town and back, Came for Sturgis. so pleased. just remember laundry gets locked at 9pm!

Great hosts and nice location. Only drawback is the slow WiFi at the campground and limited cell phone reception using my Verizon cell phone provider.

Perfect place to stay for Rally! Easy access to Sturgis, love the trolley to Deadwood, and close to all the best rides. This was our 3rd time staying and we will be back again! Thank you to Deb and Arni!

Excellent site, lots of room for our RV, trailer and car. Love having cable....tv is my vice! Nice to have the Deadwood shuttle come to the campground. Just the only place to camp in Deadwood. Our 3rd trip down to your campground and we have referred it to our friends. Staff are always helpful and even got our wifi sorted out......priceless! Thank you.

Very clean and well maintained campgrounds. We stayed in a cabin and had a nice location. The mattress was medium quality. Friendly staff.

This campground offers great proximity to Deadwood and Lead if that is your goal. The cons are the road noise, the steep and narrow driveway in and out of the park and the overall narrow spaces for RV’s. Our spot was too short for our RV and we had a few near misses with bigger rigs trying to get into their spot coming close to our rig or our truck.

Grounds were absolutely beautiful, Pool and hot tub were nice and clean. Really enjoyed the basketball hoop in the pool. My Wife, Niece and I really had fun shooting around. The bathrooms were nice and clean, plenty of hot water. The host were very friendly and knowledgeable of the town and shuttle. Glad we stayed here, would definitely stay here again.

We rented 1 lodge and 2 bunk houses, reservations was able to put us all next to each other, that was great! Checking in was easy, Arnie and all of the staff were helpful & friendly. We had a beautiful view from our deck every day. The shuttle was a bonus and our driver Herb was so nice and helpful. We absolutely loved our stay and are looking forward to another visit in the future.

The grounds are very pretty with lots of trees. However the sites are small. The trolley was great that ran every hour into Deadwood.

Nice quiet park. Steep hill for entry and exit. We had a pull through spot that accommodated our 32’ motor home and tow. Level spot with W/E/S/C. WiFi was a bit slow. We stayed in spot 25.

Nothing special. Not near as friendly as rapid curt. Wasn’t as convient as the bathrooms had a locked door policy you had to put a code into. Lots of pool rules and the pool was run down and very cold. Only good thing was the trolley that shuttles from the campground to downtown which isn’t run by KOA. cabins were great clean and well taken care of.

Nice campground but with being terraced it would be difficult to get to the restrooms and showers if stairs or steep slopes would give you problems.

Great location, trolly service into town was a major selling point. Very nice pool and hot tub area. Only real concern was the grass had not been cut and any RV's at the top of the camp had too many tree branches that were unavoidable and could have been trimmed back a bit.

Great campground and friendly staff. Very convenient for site-seeing. Loved the trolley that you could ride to town for a $1. Clean restrooms and showers. Met people from all over the U.S., even Nampa, ID! My only complaint is that the sites were very tight. Otherwise, great!

Crowded narrow spaces with no shade. Reasonable showers, pool in pretty bad shape. Definitely overpriced

Beautiful location. Arrived with a motorcycle on a trailer. Gary was amazing. He was friendly, accommodating, and not only did he help me safely dismount my bike, he helped move my trailer to a site I upgraded to. Above and beyond service. Motorcycle and dog friendly site.

Best KOA of all! The owners are all amazing. The best restrooms and they keep improving them! I wish they could remain open year-round. They are almost a boutique KOA! The BEST!
