We stayed in a simple cabin, and like always, had a great time! The staff at the Deadwood KOA is all great and we love staying there and riding the trolley into town.

They went above and beyond for us! Trolley wasn’t convenient for us to get to the Days of 76 rodeo on Friday. So they made special arrangements for us. Thank you again!

The grounds were always kept clean. This campground is in a beautiful setting. We stayed in the sleeper cabins and they had a great deck area that really came in handy.

The owners are very welcoming and friendly! Cabins are private while still promoting a sense of community! Beautiful campground, home-y cabins and wonderful services such as a pool, hot tub and hourly trolly that takes you to Deadwood.

We had a quick stay at this KOA, but found the owner very nice, had a clean cabin and enjoyed the pool. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved staying here!!! The owners and staff were so friendly. The bathrooms were close. The store was super convenient. Our girls LOVED the pool. The beds could be more comfortable, but that's typical. First time at a KOA for us! We will be back!

New owners were very friendly and welcoming. Very nice campground. Loved the skylights in the bathroom! Also loved the cabin with the deck that had a super nice overlook. (Go BISON!! This is for the benefit of the new owners!!)

We checked in late, in the rain, after 9. Key was ready for us for our cabin. Cabin was clean and pleasant and comfortable….although there was a leak inThe roof over the large bed which made it unusable that first night. The futon couch was very comfortable though. Tv was good and worked as expected. heat was nice for the chilly nights.

Space was very tight, whether it was parking by our cabin, space between cabins, or bathroom stalls. Cabins and restrooms were clean, and new owners very nice.

It appears that they had new owners. They were a little disorganized. There sites were misrepresented as we booked online.

Fantastic hosts, I had a large trailer but was staying in cabin. Host accommodated the trailer, was very happy with stay. I will be back to deadwood KOA!

Such a wonderful location and property. The Kamper Kabins (#10 this visit) are wonderful! Visited in 2016 the first time. Such wonderfully, friendly new owners, much like the old owners! We hope to return in the future and will definitely share the location with friends. Our ‘pet’ Van appreciates you too! WiFi needs some work, no service throughout our stay, but not a deal breaker for us.

What a fantastic campground! Quiet, beautiful, nice pool, close to Lead and Deadwood, the kids (and adults)loved the cabin (full bath and bunkroom), store is well stocked. I would recommend to family and friends staying in the area.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin for about a week. Overall it was a nice stay. It had a lot of room and it was clean. The location was convenient to Lead and Deadwood. About 3 miles from each. Very small KOA, the locations were not very private and not much parking space.

It is a beautiful place, the gentleman who did my check in was very nice and kind, the cabin was clean, unfortunately I was really disappointed with the cleanliness in the bathrooms, it was dirty

Booked this on the way up! Got the last available cabin. Smelled wonderful you could tell they cleaned it. Grounds were maintained. Nestled on the hillside so exercising you legs was great. Loved the trolley that took us into town, very convenient.

Very nice cabin but housekeeping not doing their job. Floors dirty, bbq grill had rust & brush provided was worn out & dirty. Coffee cups in cupboard still had coffee drips inside from last users. The bed was horrible. Not comfortable & made a terrible noise everytime when we "climbed" into bed. Spent two plus hours cleaning a cabin that housekeeping should have done. Priced way to high for this!

Location was great! Deluxe cabin had all the necessities. The only downside was the queen bed was way too soft making it very uncomfortable for too people (worse than an air mattress).

Grounds could be shaped up with some weed eating and general upkeep of the lodges is needed.Front door was hard to open. Large barking dogs while sitting outside.

The bathrooms on the upper level need cleaned with a power washer. The dry cabins need some AC. The ceiling fans need dropped about 8 inches so it can move the air.It did cool off in the evening with rain overnight. No refrigerator in them. I was totally disappointed. We had stayed the night before in a dry cabin in a different town. That one was great. I won't waste the money next time.

I have stayed at this KOA as a child with my parents and have brought my family twice now to this same KOA, 7 years apart. My daughter and I will plan a return in about 4 years and will be staying at this KOA once again. Maybe one day my children will return with their families to keep the tradition.

It was a great stay other then the WI-FI was horrible. My daughter had a online drivers Ed class during two of the days we stayed there and we had to go down to the local coffee shop as she kept getting kicked off. And the buildings pool and sauna could have used a little more up keep but the stay was good.

Stayed in K-5. Quiet spot, close to facilities. Had a TV! (We barely used it but it worked) perfect spot to make trips to Crazy Horse, Rushmore & Sturgis. Great people and staff. Facilities are a little dated but clean and convenient.

Beautiful location. Arrived with a motorcycle on a trailer. Gary was amazing. He was friendly, accommodating, and not only did he help me safely dismount my bike, he helped move my trailer to a site I upgraded to. Above and beyond service. Motorcycle and dog friendly site.

Best KOA of all! The owners are all amazing. The best restrooms and they keep improving them! I wish they could remain open year-round. They are almost a boutique KOA! The BEST!
