Way too small for anything larger than a 24’ RV. Spaces are packed too tight and should be spread out more. Trolley to town is a nice feature but probably won’t be back.

The camp was clean and very accessible to all the sites we wanted to see. We checked in and was able to get information from the camp staff about the camp site and the area. We would definitely stay again.

Staff accommodating. Campsites very narrow and short not designed for today’s newer slide out larger units. Grounds could use some updating.

Convenient to town, sites a bit close together but hey it’s a private campground. Bathroom clean with nice shower. Water tastes fine. Seems to be under renovation

Site was small but adequate. Hook ups good condition and well placed. Bathrooms clean. Best was the host was very friendly and welcoming, and great recommendations for where to get a steak dinner. Very happy.

Perfect stay for base camp to see the sights. Great amenities. The camping sites have everything. The hosts and staff are the best we have met. Only drawback for anyone else might be the closeness with your neighbor. It didn’t matter to us because there is so much to see and do. Thanks for a great stay Deadwood/Black Hills KOA.

Staff was friendly, but campsite didn't look like the picture online. It was very small, had no grass and didn't have a proper tent pad. It had a nice updated park but the pool and hot tub looked live they needed repairs.

The location is very good, the people were friendly and helpful, but the sites were so small it would have been challenging to use the picnic table between the RVs. The positive was we were not there much and didn’t use the table. I’m not going to talk about the driveway.

I was greeted by name as soon as I walked in the door! Everything was ready for us, we had a smooth check in, and everyone enjoyed the campsite very much. We are looking forward to returning.

We were there when a bad wind storm came thru.We weren't in our small camper at the time.It blew over.Arnold Olson ( Operator of camp ground) called and emailed letting us know of the damage.Hats off to him and staff for running a great campground.

The front desk guy was great! The park was small, cramped, hard to navigate with a class a rv. The deck going to the bathroom/shower area was seriously in need of repair, was concerned about decking boards giving away and falling through. The bathroom faucets were the type you had to push to come on, so made shaving very difficult. Just not a good experience for us, not up to KOA usual standards.

Super nice staff. It's kind of out of the way which is not a bad thing. There was some work remodeling in the park but it didn't effect us We would probably stay there again if in the area. Thank you to Deadwood/ Black hills KOA

Great place stay and visit. Campground well maintained and staff helpful and friendly. Only reason for not rating a ten is the small sites. Otherwise everything was great.

We felt like we were in a parking lot...the biggest issue was the number of travelers coming in at all hours of the night and very early morning hours. Also many did not respect the “quiet hours”...

Deadwood KOA is absolutely gorgeous! It’s set into the hills with nice level spots all with equally stunning views. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The park is clean and well maintained with great bathrooms. Conveniently located close to Historic Deadwood, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and tons of other awesome locations. Absolutely plan to return and stay much longer.

Very, very tight quarters, if side by side campers both have slideouts there isn't much room left. The manager was friendly.

We enjoyed our stay, but your sites are too narrow. I understand your space is limited and you want to get as many sites in as possible, but it felt quite cramped. We appreciated that you had a dog run, but it could also use a little work.

Beautiful location. Arrived with a motorcycle on a trailer. Gary was amazing. He was friendly, accommodating, and not only did he help me safely dismount my bike, he helped move my trailer to a site I upgraded to. Above and beyond service. Motorcycle and dog friendly site.

Best KOA of all! The owners are all amazing. The best restrooms and they keep improving them! I wish they could remain open year-round. They are almost a boutique KOA! The BEST!
