The view from our tent site was spectacular, only downside was that the site was small and close to another tent camper. Great overall experience.

Staff was very friendly campsite was clean and well kept. Upper bathrooms were covered in black hair. Judging from the lower bath I would guess the staff wasn’t aware yet. We wanted to do laundry however we were out exploring during the office hours and were not able to do laundry at night.

Cute KOA! I loved the staff and they made some great recommendations for the rest of my road trip Cute SD ornaments I brought home from the shop made my mom super excited! Site was up against the side of a hill with great trees. If I had more time it would have been perfect for hanging in my hammock, but sadly I only stayed for one night. Can’t wait to come back with my husband.

We had a great time! The campground is laid out really well, with nice views of the surrounding hills. The amenities were great, and I especially enjoyed the nature trail.

Hosts were awesome and very knowledgeable of the area. Bathrooms were always clean during our 3 night stay.

The only problem was the pool was closed but with the COVID-19 going around, its hard to blame anyone. Beautiful country and friendly, helpful staff. VERY satisfied. Would and will recommend to everyone I know.

Very nice Koa. We stayed in a tent site. It was spacious and backed to trees. The bathrooms were very nice. Individual bathrooms with showers, sink & toilet.

Terrible tent set up. Doesn’t feel like camping at all when you have 12 feet and next to a brick building. We bit the bullet and paid for this spot and went to stay at a different campsite. Lowest on my personal KOA list. Only perk is location if you want to be in town.

We had a great stay at the Deadwood KOA. The map that shows the site of the KOA is off a bit. It is actually outside of Deadwood a bit but it is very peaceful and the bathrooms/showers were nice.

Due to a local event the only available accommodations was a primitive tent site however all sites are within a short distance to a bath/toilet house. We didn’t take advantage of the KOA store but it was well stocked and certainly would come in handy if we had needed any items. We also didn’t take advantage of the morning breakfast however as with the KOA store it was nice that it was availa

The camp site was very nice neat clean and staff was very kind and helpful. The swimming pool was small but okay. getting to the bathroom and shower was very close the campsite.

They provided us with the necessities we needed. Washer and dryer saved us when it rained and our tent windows were open. However the bathrooms up by the tent sites really need some TLC (mold) and the hot tub wasn't hot and didn't bubble so we couldn't relax at the end of the day of a long ride while it was chilly out.

We are a 20 foot van and we’re lucky to be put in a tent site which was a much nicer area than where all the RVs were - that area was very crowded and had no trees. Washrooms nice and people very friendly.

My daughter and I as part of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America stay there every year. We will be back next year. The location to Deadwood, Sturgis motorcycle rally, and Black Hills is the best. Have make many friends at the KOA Deadwood over the years.

The hosts were amazing - friendly, helpful and personable. They served breakfast every morning and when my car wouldn't start, they provided a jump start. Thx.

Nice campground overall. They have morning breakfasts that were good but are only served on weekdays. If your tenting know that most of the tent sites appear to be on a ridge that overlooks the highway so you will get traffic noise.

Loved our stay and the facilities were awesome! Only complaint I have is we had loud drunk neighbors at back of tent area and tried calling office to have them come and quiet down the group but no one would answer the phone. That left me walking up on a group of drunks to ask them to quiet down at 2am, not fun. Recommend putting mulch tent pad sites with electric and leveling. Worth the stay!

Perfect place to stay for Rally! Easy access to Sturgis, love the trolley to Deadwood, and close to all the best rides. This was our 3rd time staying and we will be back again! Thank you to Deb and Arni!

Beautiful location. Arrived with a motorcycle on a trailer. Gary was amazing. He was friendly, accommodating, and not only did he help me safely dismount my bike, he helped move my trailer to a site I upgraded to. Above and beyond service. Motorcycle and dog friendly site.

Best KOA of all! The owners are all amazing. The best restrooms and they keep improving them! I wish they could remain open year-round. They are almost a boutique KOA! The BEST!
