Des Moines West KOA Holiday Groups

While we’re not equipped to host large reunions or big events, we’re happy to help coordinate multiple site reservations so your group can stay close together. Whether you’re traveling with a few RVers, a small family caravan, or a couple of tents, our staff will work with you to find the best setup. Each site accommodates up to six people, and our team is always available to guide you through the details.

Groups can choose from a variety of comfortable ways to stay. Pull-thru and back-in RV Sites with 30- or 50-amp full hookups offer plenty of room to stretch out, while KOA Patio® Sites feature added outdoor furniture, grills, and fire pits for easy gatherings. Deluxe Cabins with full kitchens and bathrooms give you the comforts of home, and Camping Cabins or grassy Tent Sites let you keep things simple. For something unique, try a glamping tent with cozy log furniture and modern amenities.

Things to Do with Your Group
Your group will find plenty to enjoy both at the campground and around central Iowa:

• On-Site Fun – Take a dip in the heated pool, challenge friends to mini golf, or let the kids burn off energy on the jumping pillow or playground.
  
• Weekend Activities – Join us for live music, themed weekends, pancake breakfasts, and fall “Spooktacular” celebrations packed with crafts, games, and haunted fun.
  
• Fishing and Outdoor Games – Cast a line in the fishing pond or spend the afternoon playing basketball, ladder golf, or horseshoes.
  
• Local Adventures – Visit the famous Bridges of Madison County, shop and dine at Jordan Creek Town Center, or head downtown to explore the Des Moines Botanical Garden and local art scene.
