One night stay with Class B in early April (off season), so maybe 20% occupancy. Very friendly staff, nice grounds with new (and clean) bath / shower facilities. Approximately a mile off the freeway so far enough away to avoid the noise yet close enough for convenience. Would definitely stay again.

So kind and friendly. My slide was not working and the front desk was so kind to find someone that was a mobile RV repair that did an awesome job.

Just passing through, over night stop. Staff were friendly and helpful. Almost everything looked new or freshly updated. Site was level. Made setting up and breaking down ine the morning fast and easy.

We pulled in unexpectedly leaving a KOA down in Missouri, which was not very well kept or very welcoming. Didn't even know this place was on the map and we definitely will be back. Came into the office and felt immediately welcomed and met with great service! They even delivered a pizza to our campsite. Pizza was awesome! Can't wait to come back and stay. Kid friendly and tons to do for them!

Passing through on our way home to Ontario Canada. The sites are huge. Staff is very friendly and they make great pizza and wings.

Made a same day reservation. Talked to the nicest person. Was told that I would have a packet and site number stored in a small barn door. Found the door. There were a couple of reservation packets in there, but not mine. Called twice about 8PM to ask. No answers. Left a message stating that I would just pick a spot unless they called back (there seemed like 100 spots open). Ok otherwise

Really appreciate them being open in Feb. close to I-80 so convenient for us. Would like to visit again in spring or summer.

We arrived an hour before closing time but office was closed and no envelope with key and directions. If workers don’t show up isn’t it the manager’s job to be there? We had planned to have pizza there for dinner, which had been advertised as possible, so we had no food. Heater in cabin could not keep cabin warm with 2* temps. Cabin was clean.

Highly recommend for anyone passing through Des Moines. They are opened all year round & take really good care of their pull through areas.

Very very nice new campground, Very friendly staff. Farther outside of Des Moines than we thought but worth every mile! Actual 5G internet!!!

One of the best stays at a koa even though it was cold. Mike and Cindy were awesome. Stayed for a month and received great service. Mike came to get our tanks when we were low on propane and there’s also residential size tanks available if you stay long term which was a blessing when we changed over to it. I can only imagine how nice this place is in the summer.

Beautiful site that is close to everything without feeling close to everything. The people running this site are the best. Great communication and made it really feel like home.

Camper cabin was clean, but for cobwebs. Bathroom clean, yay! Heater was already on, space was toasty warm. Exceptional customer service by text and in person at desk, fab pizza! They really helped me feel welcome. This is winter visit.

The staff was great. They texted pre-stay giving us info and asked if we wanted pizza or wings when we arrived. I wish more KOAs communicated via text before arriving so we don't have to call and ask about hours, amenities, etc. The setting was quiet and very well maintained. Nicely stocked store as well. Great dog park!

Late in the season stay as the campground closes on October 31 and we arrived on the 31st for a quick layover on our way to our winter park in FL. We pretty much had the campground to ourselves but one could tell it was a clean and well kept campground. Nice cabins surrounded the grounds and pull-thrus were level. Deluxe sites are very nice. Marked it in our book as a repeat campground.

It was relaxing with clean campgrounds and nice and accommodating staff. When we checked in I noticed they had food. Ordered pizza and staff delivered to our site and it was delicious. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip through Des Moines.

Sweet lil spot to rest a few days that has clean sites, laundry, a dog park, pond, and grassy areas. We ventured to a great local State Park, Starved Rock…phenomenal trails and photo ops!! It's a must see ! The staff is helpful and friendly and the area is beautiful.
