The campground had just sprayed with a weed killer that was toxic to pets. It wasn't everywhere but was 1 foot out my RV door. I know there are non toxic agents that can be used and should have been used. It is unacceptable to put our pets at risk.

They had recently sprayed a weed killer throughout the park. There were many warning signs posted that it was very toxic to pets, so I would suppose it would be to children also . Perhaps close and spray one section at a time? Otherwise all the staff were very friendly and helpful and the park was clean and well kept. The bathrooms and showers were completely being redone at the time.

I've stayed here many times over the years. It was disappointing that the restrooms were closed. And spraying with that atuff that is toxic to pets is a REALLY BAD IDEA.

The Ely hosts are some of the best we have met. They have a beautiful campground set in some rolling hills with views of mountains (and snow) surrounding them. The staff were very knowledgeable about their area and made us feel quite at-home during our stay there. One of my top picks for places to stay.

I would have rated higher but neither the restrooms nor the showers were available. Our little camper was not adequate for those activities. No price breaks either for the lack of facilities. The spaces were very nice and the desk folks and other staff were friendly.

So far I’ve found Ely KOA a good place to stop overnight. But must say the improvements they’ve made make it worth more than just an overnight.

The reason for the average rating was that it wasn't disclosed to us PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL that the bathroom facilities were closed for ongoing repairs.

the bathrooms and showers were under construction and they didn't tell us when reserving. It's a long way to the garbage bin. the staff was friendly and helpful.

Charged us $61.28. The highest rate for no sewer. No washrooms and no showers. Said they are full every night when I said how high it was . They say they are renovating the washrooms…………they should build a new one before and then renovate. We are snowbirds and our Rv is a 20 foot Roadtrek class B……….not big We will never be back. We have been paying $33 and

We were going to boondock but felt it was too cold. The campsite was very nice and clean. Nice hiking out and back on dirt roads..very beautiful. Cute little downtown with painted murals on the walls .

Ely KOA was a decent place to stay. We used our 6,000 points we earned for the past 30 months staying at KOA's and it was only a $10 dollar discount. Dropping our KOA membership

The only drawback was that our site (45) was way off level. We need to block up the wheels and raise the front of our 5th Wheel about 5 inches. The site could be re- leveled.

We stay here at least twice a year. They have made some great improvements. It’s a nice quiet RV park with easy access for our large motorhome and very dog friendly.

Ely KOA is easy to find and has a beautiful view from your camp site, competent friendly staff, quiet night, interesting small town to explore that hosted a Pony Express Station 157 years ago. What else would you need?

We have used Ely KOA repeatedly as snowbirds but it has become ridiculously expensive. We won’t be returning. The very next night we stayed in aTravelodge and it cost less than Ely koa. Does that make any sense?

We pulled in late, our info was easy to find on the board, site was easy to locate. Left a little before 8:00 am~ very well kept campground ~ excellent and easy experience on our way to destination~ thank you, we will be back!

Staff was good to refund discount for recently purchase KOA REWARDS Washrooms closed for Reno’s - husband looking forward to a shower. I always feel campgrounds should make some sort of adjustment when standard facilities not available

Wonderful employees of the park! Very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our RV and needed some items to fix the issue. The owner of the park was right there helping us gather what we needed to fix the problem. i will definitely stay there again!

Need better security. Someone siphoned 1/2 a tank of gas from our truck. The bathrooms were unavailable because of a remodel. The people, however, are very nice at the front desk.
