This was our first stay, in one of the deluxe cabins, and our whole family loved it! The cabin was clean and fit the 4 of us well, and great climate control! We appreciated the picnic table and fire grate on our site. Next time we’ll bring our rods. We are looking forward to coming back every year from now on! Thanks for a great stay!

We have stayed at this KOA many years. It is currently under new ownership and they need time to make it their own. What we noticed most was the seemed short-staffed.

Had a great stay. We had a family emergency so we had to leave 1 day early. Which was no ones fault, but I thought they would of at least offered us some money back, they didn't all.they gave us was the 10.00 key return fee back

The site that we were on was fantastic, we love going up and stay, the staff was friendly and easy to get a long with. Can't wait to go back next year

Nice overall. The bathhouse connected to the store/ checkout is in need of a remodel. Would be nice to have a little ice cream shop/ snack bar in the store. A basketball hoop would be nice for the kids. More planned activities during the week such as crafts and candy bar bingo. Also very buggy around our site( pond sites) flies were terrible… could you spray / treat for that? Swampy grass/ mudd

The staff were very friendly and helpful. However they had no kids activities planned which is a main reason we stay at KOA’s. They said it was due to being short staffed. I would probably not stay here again unless absolutely necessary.

We always get the deluxe cabin and it’s always clean and the campground is very well maintained. They play a movie at night on the big screen, which the kids really enjoy! We will definitely be back again next summer!

It was good. However we’ve stayed at several KOA’s and their are usually more amenities inside a basic cabin. We only had one electrical outlet. In the past there’s been mini fridge, microwave and tv. A second outlet and mini fridge would make a huge difference.

The grounds were beautiful. We stayed in the Tipi and it was great. All of the staff were super nice. The only thing is the store needs to stay open later in the evening so families can do the kart rides, etc.

We've been coming for about 7 years now, our stay was just as good as the rest, the new owners were very nice and helped when we needed it. The kids had a blast. The fishing was great with some big fish also. We will be back again!

Campground very well kept. Owners are ever present to help with any problem. Rained while we were there so we didn't get to use the pool. Breakfast and ice cream social good.

We had a wonderful stay. Our cabin was clean and as advertised. The staff were always nice, And the campground and activities were in good working order. We were there during the week so they were not any special activities planned for the kids. My only comments for improvement would be the cloth shower curtain was mildewed at the bottom, & water ran brown at first when turned on; I had to buy H2O

Great facilities and amenities. Everything is very neat and clean. However, the management can be a bit overzealous with enforcing all the campground rules.

VERY NICE, FAMILY FRIENDLY CAMPGROUND. IT WAS OUR 8TH TIME HERE AND ENJOYED IT. HOWEVER, THIS TIME 1 EMPLOYEE WAS VERY RUDE, MADE US GO INSIDE AT 11PM AS THAT IS QUIET TIME AND TOLD US WE COULDN'T SIT OUT CAUSE WE WERE TALKING. WE WERE SPEAKING SOFTLY, WAITING FOR CAMPFIRE TO GO OUT. NEXT DAY WE HAD A VISITOR FOR 5 MINUTES, SAME WORKER TOLD HER TO LEAVE NO PASS.

Got yelled at for talking during quiet hours. We didn't even have a camp fire outside, weren't drinking, etc. I was literally standing outside folding beach towels talking quietly to my 64 year old father. The owner was extremely rude to us for being what she deemed as "loud". She was actually speaking much louder to us then we were being at all. It was an absolute insult. We won't be back.

Rude staff! Terrible wait at check in. Prices in the store very high. Pond was disgustingly dirty. Paddle boats old and look like you’d need a tetanus shot after using them. Playground equipment broken. Game room dirty and very hot. No activities for kids. Wouldn’t recommend this place! Very unhappy while staying there!

Will never return. I’ve been staying at this campground for 30 years and have never had any problems. One employee has ruined it for my whole family. His name is Jamie. Absolutely rude and doesn’t have a clue what customer service is.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved the family atmosphere of the park and the safe feel of the environment. Quiet hours were a welcome part of our stay! The camping cabin we were in was clean and well equipped. We will definitely be back!

We were on a very small site next to the road.We couldn’t even open our awning without almost hitting the camper next to us.Our firepit was right next to their sewer we asked to move to a site that they had a cancellation on and without hesitation they allowed us to do so!!Nice level sites, great campground.Only complaint I did have was after quiet hours were were asked to whisper at our own sit

great except for the older long blonde lady... not a nice person. Heard a few campers say how ugly she spoke to them too. She needs a customer training class&new attitude on how to deal with people. I work with the public, and would never talk to others like her. Let her know you catch more flies with honey, than vinegar. The cabins, showers, playground, events all were wonderful, & rest of staff.

All good, except 1 staff, she was around 55-60, blondish long braided hair. Sucky attitude. The dice was too loud after quiet hour, instead of being nice & just telling us that, she scolded us like children, and then when leaving said (in a threatening voice) , "don't make me come back here again",also yelled at our neighbor for their 2yr old for being too loud. heard a few campers also about her

We stayed for one night twice , to have a break of our journey from Detroit to Philadelphia. We had been doing same for last many years. Consistent service. Keep it up.

Very clean. Very hospitable. Very nice. The kids loved the movies. The pool was kept in pristine shape. We were able to relax in peace. It's an experience my family will forever cherish.

The campground was nice and clean. The pool was great. The only thing we didn't like is the rude guy cutting the lawn. He came and was cutting the grass as we were making dinner outside right on top of us, inches from everybody. A real jerk!! He could have come back later, the grass wasn't even that high.

Our family loves this campground! Very family friendly! New owners are very nice and always working to make the campground an enjoyable place for all. And it's just a short drive to presque isle, the zoo and many other thing in Erie.

Just finished our 4th and unfortunately last trip for the '21 season. We had so much fun this summer at the McKean PA KOA!! We tent camped with amenities. This campground is family friendly with a heated pool, playground, arcade and other amenities for kids. We love the catch and release pond. There's some big ones in there, my husband has caught them. We really enjoyed ourselves everytime we stayed. (even when it rained) The staff were All Always Awesome!! They Always treated us Wonderfully!! The bathrooms were kept clean.The owner even gave us a specific site because of a medical condition I have. (Thank you Jamie!! :) All of our trips have been just what I needed after losing my Dad a few months ago. If you camp at KOA's we suggest signing up for the KOA Rewards program. It saves you money and you get to stay for free at a KOA one designated weekend a year. If you're planning a trip to Erie we Highly recommend the McKean, PA KOA!! The campground sits right off of I79 and beautiful Presque Isle is just a short drive away! We're planning to purchase a pop-up this off season and our first trip with it will be to the McKean. **UPDATE October 2021 We got our "new pup" and stayed in McKean for a long Halloween theme weekend. It was wonderful of the owners to plan such fun activities for the kiddos. I really enjoyed decorating and handing out candy!*** I also just want to say that we Never heard anyone around us ever complain about any of the staff any of the 5 times we stayed there! We also never saw or heard any type of confrontation between staff and guests anywhere in the campground. All we saw were Very Hard working owners & staff who just wanted to keep everyone happy & safe and ensure everyone had a good time!
