Horrible customer service - the owners are extremely rude and condescending - made children cry and their response was we don’t care - yes we did break curfew one night out of 5 nights-it was only 11:12 pm and the owner was unstable yelling at us - and advised we were not welcome back ever - we will never be back and we tell everyone never to go there - this was our 10th time there so sad

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Although it was very hot the first few days the temperature was great for the end of our stay. We visited Presque Isle State Park several times and enjoyed swimming in the lake. The restrooms were very clean, and spacious. Jamie was a very kind host and helped me back in as he passed by when we were arriving. Our kids love the area and we will be back.

This is now our all time favorite. Quiet, grassy, wonderful playground. WiFi not so great. No one directed us to our site so we got a bit confused. Will definitely camp here again.

Erie KOA Camp was quiet, clean, and scenic with updated facilities. I had a comfortable bed in one of their one room camping cabins. Everything was top notch & I'd definitely stay there again & recommend it to others.

The Erie KOA is a great site!! We've stayed there several times over the years. It's always very clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful! It's such a pretty location, and we will definitely stay there in the future!!

Stayed on site 47...wouldnt consider it premium as the firepit it 2ft away from the neighbors vehicle so you cant have a fire..and the neighbors sewer line is right infront of your camper. No room to sit at a fire unless you sit in the road.

Staff was very pleasant and everything was soooo clean! My children enjoyed the swimming pool and the staff went out of their way to let all the kids in the park have extra Gaga ball time. We will be back for sure!

My first stay was phenomenal on 6/25 clean well maintained campground with all the basic amenities, so great infact I reserved the same site for 6/28 when we came back into town. Sadly ended up breaking down right outside of town so we were not able to stay the night. Unfortunately was not able to get a refund on the campsite even though we didn't stay the night. I am not sure but I’m believe it was the owner continually telling you what you can’t do. I have been at 4 KOA campgrounds. Williamsburg, Virginia Beach, Westfield, and Erie. I would rank Erie a distance 4th, I would also rank them last in any of parks we have been to. Obviously we will not be back. Older women in office was great.

As always, our stay was very enjoyable. The campground is well kept and the people friendly and helpful. This was a busy weekend and we found that the kids(and even some adults) were very loud and disrespectful of other campers, walking through sites, running in between and around other campers. This may be due to the volume of newer campers not yet familiar with campground ettiquette.

We had a great time! The only downfall was the cleanliness of the restrooms. At one point we had to use the bathroom, and there was human feces on the floor. Obviously we know that isn’t the camps fault, however it was pretty disgusting considering the bathrooms weren’t kept up to par as well as the one located at the store. Also! Sue was incredible and we love her so much!

packed like sardines. Fire pits right against neighbor's bumper. Lots of rules w/ cranky workers yelling at kids on pedal scooters go slower & tweaking over people with too many cars on their site. closed down bike rentals way early at 7 . Gaga ball closes insanely early @ 9:15 !!! The older lady w/ long blonde/grey hair tweaked as I was calmly asking for a bike after 7. Most strict campground

We had a wonderful time. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The activities that were planned were fun. The fishing pond was great along with the pool. The bathrooms were kept very clean. I had 4 grandchildren from age 16 to 10 and they had plenty of things to do. The park, the go karts to the bouncy area, gaga ball and just being able to walk around the area enjoying the fresh air.

We stayed here for a night on our way from Milwaukee to New England and again for two nights on our way home. I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was helpful and gracious. We arrived after hours for both stays and found detailed information left at late check-in by the office door. The grounds are nicely landscaped, and the facilities were wonderful. We'll definitely stay here again!

Our family loves this campground! Very family friendly! New owners are very nice and always working to make the campground an enjoyable place for all. And it's just a short drive to presque isle, the zoo and many other thing in Erie.

Just finished our 4th and unfortunately last trip for the '21 season. We had so much fun this summer at the McKean PA KOA!! We tent camped with amenities. This campground is family friendly with a heated pool, playground, arcade and other amenities for kids. We love the catch and release pond. There's some big ones in there, my husband has caught them. We really enjoyed ourselves everytime we stayed. (even when it rained) The staff were All Always Awesome!! They Always treated us Wonderfully!! The bathrooms were kept clean.The owner even gave us a specific site because of a medical condition I have. (Thank you Jamie!! :) All of our trips have been just what I needed after losing my Dad a few months ago. If you camp at KOA's we suggest signing up for the KOA Rewards program. It saves you money and you get to stay for free at a KOA one designated weekend a year. If you're planning a trip to Erie we Highly recommend the McKean, PA KOA!! The campground sits right off of I79 and beautiful Presque Isle is just a short drive away! We're planning to purchase a pop-up this off season and our first trip with it will be to the McKean. **UPDATE October 2021 We got our "new pup" and stayed in McKean for a long Halloween theme weekend. It was wonderful of the owners to plan such fun activities for the kiddos. I really enjoyed decorating and handing out candy!*** I also just want to say that we Never heard anyone around us ever complain about any of the staff any of the 5 times we stayed there! We also never saw or heard any type of confrontation between staff and guests anywhere in the campground. All we saw were Very Hard working owners & staff who just wanted to keep everyone happy & safe and ensure everyone had a good time!
