Not many scheduled activities for kids or adults. Need music at pool.

The campground staff was rude and pretty much harassed us for most of our stay. They split up our group of 3 campers to accommodate another camping party. We were told that we were to loud at night when we were only talking. It is such a shame that the staff treats people this way because the campground is very nice and we would have came back. I would not be back or recommend this KOA.

Very noisy road. Limit of 6 people at a campsite makes it hard to visit with family.

Our site 047 was pretty small. Very little great area, we do have a fifth wheel. My brother in law and nephew though had beautiful sites. We spent most of our time with them. Campground is clean it was quiet, but the were many activities. The pool was awesome too.

We really enjoyed the time we was there...Everything we needed was there...I wish that the cabins didn't fill up so quick. My grandkids want to go...but nothing is available

Girl at check in was rude. Bathrooms were filthy.Ruled us until it was no fun at all. Stayed at this Koa every year for 12 yrs around Father’s Day and most of the years two weeks in a row for soccer Tournament. Most of the team I talked to are going to try the campground up the road next year. Much better when Beth and the crew were there

Had a wonderful time. Campground was nice . Only thing was our trash wasn’t picked up the one day neither was our neighbors. Missed our road. And would be nice if the store was open later. And we didn’t see a basketball rim for the kids to play.

Stayed 6 nights. Loved it. Staff was wonderful. Great amenities. We had rowdy neighbors the last night - stay was otherwise perfect.

We've stayed for 9 days. The camp ground is well kept and very family friendly. It's so nice for smaller kids to bike ride due to no rental golf carts fairly flat ground and small gravel chips. They had plenty for the kids to do and play with and we meet some very nice people while staying there. I would definitely recommend the erie koa in mckean some nice local restaurant close.

We really enjoyed our stay. The kids really enjoyed the park and jump pad and the pool. It was really nice. We are planning on staying there again next year . Staff was friendly too.

Our stay was great. We have stayed at this KOA for many years. The new owners are carrying on things like the ice cream social. They came to our site to help my son with his bike tire. Going back next weekend.

Friday night we were told we were too loud just sitting there talking before 11 pm. They came back around to tell us again...to quit talking..�Ϫ. Then he went over to little kids in a tent to tell them to turn off their music which was a movie. Then we went to sleep in our cabin, but got no sleep because people were screaming & partying until 3 am near us. Saturday was better though.

Great Campground with lots to do and near presque isle but overall restrooms and shower cleanliness has gone downhill from past visits. Fix that and you’re 5 stars

Pros: Kamping Kabin was clean and sufficient. The camp ground activities for kids were great. Cons: watch out for the Camp police right after 11. They drive around and tell you to go in and not sit outside. We had friends that weren’t even making noise sitting outside at 1 am smoking a cigarette that got yelled at! Other friends got yelled at three times for sitting by the fire after 11.

Felt harassed whole time. Gotntold when to go to bed even though we were quiet. Got accused of lighting fireworks and it was other side of campground. Kids couldn't enjoy the pool unless parents were inside gates even though they were great swimmers. Campground was nice but staff not so much. Presque isle passage is way better!

We had a great time. I was impressed with the activities that was scheduled by the staff. The only negative - we were not allowed to set up a small pup tent to store our dry food in. I think an additional small 1-2 person tent should be allowed for storage.

The new owner/ manager James was not accommodating at all. Very rude before we even paid for our site telling us only 1 tent ( while other sites had more than one). Also, told us we were being to loud just sitting by the fire on a Thursday evening. Very unhappy with our stay. Will not be back!!!

We stayed fathers day weekend and it was a nice place to stay. New owners took over and r trying to make it a good place to stay.

It was great we go there fathers day weekend every year there kid friendly and try to help with anything u need they even delivered our fire wood to our camp sites.

The only thing was they charge us an early fee of $10.00 without saying anything. I was half of hour early and probably would wait until 1:00 to check in if I have known. Great camp ground.

Small but adequate cabin. Friendly workers. I liked our stay overall. The playground is a bit lame, maybe add something since there is quite a bit of empty space. I liked the Saturday and Sunday special events. My only complaint is the "snugness" of the grounds, a little too close for comfort. Not sure how you address that though. Thanks!

We had to delay our arrival, one day, due to our dog's passing. The staff was very sympathetic and did not charge us for that day. The cabin was a dog friendly unit and was very clean and did not smell like pets stayed in them. The grounds and the bathrooms were clean and we'll maintained.

Everything about Erie KOA is great! The deluxe cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful with so much for the family to do. We’ll be back!

The campsite was nice. The only thing that we weren't aware of was the interstate traffic sounds that could be heard from the site.

The fact that the guy was adamant about having to wear a mask in the store was annoying as the staff working and in the store had masks on pulled below their noses. ���‍���

We had to cut our stay short because they would not allow two tents on our campsite (I didn't see anything about this rule when booking online). The owner and a second employee were rude to us, making the situation very stressful, especially because we had to find a different place to stay on short notice. The campground was very nice, although the bathroom smelled pretty bad. Never going back.

My grandkids first time camping in the cabins and they Absolutely loved it! The pool was heated and can’t say enough of the owners Sharon and her husband they are so nice I enjoyed talking to them and the staff was the same! Thank you for making my grandkids first time out fun!

Sites were nice and wide. Very nice restrooms. Mask required in office/store, which was understandable and appreciated. However the lady who checked is in wrote her mask under her nose is under her chin, even after making a comment. Unsafe and double standard. Campground is a bit pricey.

A quaint family campground that was perfect with our 2 yr old. There was a safe pool area, play ground, sand box, and massive bounce pad that was perfect! The male owner was great! Only downside- at 11:20pm, we were playing music off our phone and a woman came and told us to turn it off. We were very apologetic and admit to being unaware of quiet hours after 11, but she continued to be rude. :-/

Nice camping spot but a lot of road noise. Consider improving barrier between road and sites (ours was #49). Also, ladies restroom showers did not give instructions for shower operation; men's did. Unusual shower operation.

Overly strict about mask wearing and pushy about ppl being vaccinated. Half the amenities were not open that were listed on the site. Arrived early and denied check in - wasn’t offered early check in. Claims understaffed. Opened and closed pool whenever felt like it. Workers very rude and Unpersonable

Our family loves this campground! Very family friendly! New owners are very nice and always working to make the campground an enjoyable place for all. And it's just a short drive to presque isle, the zoo and many other thing in Erie.

Just finished our 4th and unfortunately last trip for the '21 season. We had so much fun this summer at the McKean PA KOA!! We tent camped with amenities. This campground is family friendly with a heated pool, playground, arcade and other amenities for kids. We love the catch and release pond. There's some big ones in there, my husband has caught them. We really enjoyed ourselves everytime we stayed. (even when it rained) The staff were All Always Awesome!! They Always treated us Wonderfully!! The bathrooms were kept clean.The owner even gave us a specific site because of a medical condition I have. (Thank you Jamie!! :) All of our trips have been just what I needed after losing my Dad a few months ago. If you camp at KOA's we suggest signing up for the KOA Rewards program. It saves you money and you get to stay for free at a KOA one designated weekend a year. If you're planning a trip to Erie we Highly recommend the McKean, PA KOA!! The campground sits right off of I79 and beautiful Presque Isle is just a short drive away! We're planning to purchase a pop-up this off season and our first trip with it will be to the McKean. **UPDATE October 2021 We got our "new pup" and stayed in McKean for a long Halloween theme weekend. It was wonderful of the owners to plan such fun activities for the kiddos. I really enjoyed decorating and handing out candy!*** I also just want to say that we Never heard anyone around us ever complain about any of the staff any of the 5 times we stayed there! We also never saw or heard any type of confrontation between staff and guests anywhere in the campground. All we saw were Very Hard working owners & staff who just wanted to keep everyone happy & safe and ensure everyone had a good time!
