We just finished our second tent camping trip of the year and have reservations to return in July and August. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay! My husband enjoyed catching really big fish at the catch and release pond. Every staff member was awesome and the owner is a great guy! Also the bathrooms and showers were always clean! We highly recommend the McKean Erie KOA and can't wait to return!

Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff and owners, along with a beautiful setting and proximity to Presque Isle make Eire KOA a must stop and stay.

This campground was very clean. The staff was helpful. Easy on and off the highway was important to us since we were only there one night on our way to Ithaca NY.

The new owners were very accomadating. Check in was easy. We will always stay there when in Erie. Great place

We were harassed and threatened by the owners from day one. We have 6 cabins and spent a good amount of money there. Never will we go back.

45ft coach+ toad. Signage was decent at road, typical check in. No issues with utilities. Our site #31, a pull thru, required some maneuvering, as it was a tight turn in especially with a toad. We would recommend unhooking if you are big. It would have been good if the check in girl knew enough to recommend unhooking. Didn’t use the amenities. We would go back if in the area.

One of our favorite campgrounds! Always clean, great amenities and super nice people! Sad that the goats and rabbit were not there and the game room wasn't open. Camp store is a little smaller but nice. Was told there were new owners within the past year or two. Store used to have discount tickets to local attractions, would love to see that again if possible.

The campground is very nice and well kept. I met the new owner and he is very likable and responsive. The only downside is that the cabin was expensive at $972 a week and while the cabin appeared clean and well kept there were several issues. The new owner was aware of the issues (like a couple of soft spots in the floor) and was planning on fixing those as soon as possible.

Had a great weekend with family. It had been 35 years since we were at the Erie KOA and we had a little family reunion. We will definitely return within the upcoming year. Very nice campground and cabins.

I’ve been camping at this koa for years and this was my first negative stay. Went with 6 other families all getting our sites. We were harassed and told we had to whisper !! Other family members that were in different areas said they had music playing beside them till 2 AM!! People talking loudly! We were quiet!!! Talking !!!! Never will come back!! Canceling my membership and contact Corp!

Stayed in L9 cabin - nice location(shaded and very close to bath house) had everything we needed except a night lite(we are older and have to pee at night!) very clean,bed was comfortable. Very close to presque isle/easy drive using rt.832. We like to fish and bike. Would do this again.

Love Erie KOA!! The new owners are so very nice and helpful. They even ride around checking to see if you need anything plus they always have wood on the back of their cart ready for you to purchase. The deluxe sites are beautiful!! Thanks for another great stay!! Also their staff are so nice too!!!

we had a wonderful stay me and my family really loved the camp. The only issue we had was our loud neighbors. but the manager was really nice and took care of everything for us and we can’t wait to go back again.

We were just passing through for the night but we got to enjoy the pool and walk around a bit and everything was great! Nice level sites, plenty of grass and privacy and easy to get in and out of! Will definitely return and recommend!

Very nice, this was our second stay at the kid's request. We missed Carly the goat this time, but enjoyed fishing in the pond and swimming in the pool again. It's just a short trip in to Presque Isle, the Erie Zoo or the Children's Museum from the campground.

Just stayed 4 nights at the Erie KOA and the new owners are so nice. They come out around the camp sites to meet the campers. We will be back again for great weekend fun.

We stayed Memorial Day weekend 2021 and it was very cold. We stayed in a cabin they didn’t have any heat source for the cabin so we had to go out and purchase small heaters. I think they should have space heaters to rent for the weekend it ends up being cold. Other than that everything was perfect and the staff was very friendly! We would definitely be back, talking about a weekend very soon!!!

Didn't get the site we reserved last year for this holiday weekend. It was clear we were bumped for a larger group. The site we got was the smallest RV site I've ever seen. If you booked last season call to confirm your site before showing up and getting stuck someone you won't like.

This is one of our favorite places to camp! The facility is super clean. The staff is super friendly. We had LOTS of rain when we were there and the staff were doing everything they could to help with drainage, potholes, mud, etc. All around GREAT place!!! Keep up the GREAT WORK.

Patio Sites were amazing, lots of room and yard space, hookups were great with 30 amp and 50 amp separated. The bathouses were very clean, pool was 82 degrees and nice for the kids. Lots to do, fishing pond was nice and the staff was very friendly and always driving around to make sure everything was taken care of and trash was picked up. dj was fun 4 all! Definately will to come back again!!!

Our family loves this campground! Very family friendly! New owners are very nice and always working to make the campground an enjoyable place for all. And it's just a short drive to presque isle, the zoo and many other thing in Erie.

Just finished our 4th and unfortunately last trip for the '21 season. We had so much fun this summer at the McKean PA KOA!! We tent camped with amenities. This campground is family friendly with a heated pool, playground, arcade and other amenities for kids. We love the catch and release pond. There's some big ones in there, my husband has caught them. We really enjoyed ourselves everytime we stayed. (even when it rained) The staff were All Always Awesome!! They Always treated us Wonderfully!! The bathrooms were kept clean.The owner even gave us a specific site because of a medical condition I have. (Thank you Jamie!! :) All of our trips have been just what I needed after losing my Dad a few months ago. If you camp at KOA's we suggest signing up for the KOA Rewards program. It saves you money and you get to stay for free at a KOA one designated weekend a year. If you're planning a trip to Erie we Highly recommend the McKean, PA KOA!! The campground sits right off of I79 and beautiful Presque Isle is just a short drive away! We're planning to purchase a pop-up this off season and our first trip with it will be to the McKean. **UPDATE October 2021 We got our "new pup" and stayed in McKean for a long Halloween theme weekend. It was wonderful of the owners to plan such fun activities for the kiddos. I really enjoyed decorating and handing out candy!*** I also just want to say that we Never heard anyone around us ever complain about any of the staff any of the 5 times we stayed there! We also never saw or heard any type of confrontation between staff and guests anywhere in the campground. All we saw were Very Hard working owners & staff who just wanted to keep everyone happy & safe and ensure everyone had a good time!
