Had a very enjoyable stay while tent camping with my 3 year old. She loved the bounce pad and playground! She also caught her very first fish out of the pond, a memory I will carry forever! The staff was also very attentive. A seasonal campsite across the street from us had a very bright light that shined directly on our site. After bringing this to their attention, they addressed the issue.

Nice site, private and great amenities. It would have been nice if there was a way to turn off the really bright lamp post light on the site. We enjoyed the fountain in the pond and that we could easily walk all the way around the pond.

This was our first KOA and we were amazed the beautiful sites and how friendly the hosts were! We arrived late but they were very accommodating and helped us find our site. Would definitely come again!!

Nice campground, well maintained with great pull-through sites. Friendly atmosphere and campground personnel were very accommodating. No reasons to not stay here, thanks!

Always so friendly and accommodating. The owner drives around the campsite after dusk with wood for anyone that needs wood. Saved us on a 43 degree temp night when we almost ran out of wood. Such a simple gesture and much appreciated.

A great campground for walking around. The amenities are excellent, although we weren't there long enough to take advantage of them. This was our third stop there, and we'll be back.

Me and my family had a great camping weekend. We had a group of 15 and it was awesome. Everyone is always so nice and friendly. We love going to the Erie KOA. Your employees are great and always very Nice.. it was also nice to meet the new owners. They both are very nice. We enjoyed talking to them and learning their story and how they became owners.

It is a nice KOA, but there should be no cars aloud to park where motor homes and toe behinds come in to register. when coming in, if there are cars parked in the way, you are left in the road or block the entrance. But all in all we had a very good time. Thank you.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The park was clean and well maintained. The staff we talked with were courteous and helpful. The only downside was some road noise but we would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, wanted to ensure we had a good time and also accommodated us with parking our boat. Also the bathrooms were very clean! Our tent site was very nice and we had a lot of fun fishing their catch and release pond. My husband caught a really big large mouth bass there!!! We have reservations there for June and again in August.

My boyfriend and I with our dog Lula stayed here for the weekend, and These New Owners Were So Nice!!! The cabin was super clean!! The new owners have a golf cart that comes around with fire wood at night in case you need more and we loved that! They delivered ice to our cabin while we finished up our walk and they were just so Pleasant! Definitely 11/10 recommend!!!! Will be going back!

Our family loves this campground! Very family friendly! New owners are very nice and always working to make the campground an enjoyable place for all. And it's just a short drive to presque isle, the zoo and many other thing in Erie.

Just finished our 4th and unfortunately last trip for the '21 season. We had so much fun this summer at the McKean PA KOA!! We tent camped with amenities. This campground is family friendly with a heated pool, playground, arcade and other amenities for kids. We love the catch and release pond. There's some big ones in there, my husband has caught them. We really enjoyed ourselves everytime we stayed. (even when it rained) The staff were All Always Awesome!! They Always treated us Wonderfully!! The bathrooms were kept clean.The owner even gave us a specific site because of a medical condition I have. (Thank you Jamie!! :) All of our trips have been just what I needed after losing my Dad a few months ago. If you camp at KOA's we suggest signing up for the KOA Rewards program. It saves you money and you get to stay for free at a KOA one designated weekend a year. If you're planning a trip to Erie we Highly recommend the McKean, PA KOA!! The campground sits right off of I79 and beautiful Presque Isle is just a short drive away! We're planning to purchase a pop-up this off season and our first trip with it will be to the McKean. **UPDATE October 2021 We got our "new pup" and stayed in McKean for a long Halloween theme weekend. It was wonderful of the owners to plan such fun activities for the kiddos. I really enjoyed decorating and handing out candy!*** I also just want to say that we Never heard anyone around us ever complain about any of the staff any of the 5 times we stayed there! We also never saw or heard any type of confrontation between staff and guests anywhere in the campground. All we saw were Very Hard working owners & staff who just wanted to keep everyone happy & safe and ensure everyone had a good time!
