The camp grounds were very clean and well kept the people that run this KOA are very pleasant and make you comfortable. It was very cold and rainy weekend. Our stay was very good. We will come back again

Store had very little product, new manager had a problem with where we were parked. We reserved 3 spots and we wanted our grandkids in the middle of 2 grandparents. We had a discussion with the manager and thought it was resolved them he brought it up to my daughter-in-law when she checked in gave her a hard time. We always enjoy the campground but not sure we want to go back.

Stayed for 2 nights. Ice cream social one night & breakfast next morning. Sites are nice. Staff is excellent. Plan on staying again for 4 nights.

This was my first time staying in a deluxe cabin, the double bed was very comfy I didn't want to get out of bed and the cabin was very clean and the new owner handled a minor problem right away.

We have been going there since my children were babies. They are now 7 and 9. I never felt unsafe there until now. My husband was cleaning up our site Friday evening and the owner showed up out of no where to tell us it's time to wrap it up we were not loud at all.my daughter threw a glass bottle in a garbage bag. My girls were frightened. No flashlight no golf cart just him. We will not return.

The woman who checked me in made me wait until she was finished counting all the change in the cash register before she would wait on me. The campground was nearly empty, but they put us right next to 2 young families who were up late and their dog barked at night.

Exceptional KOA. This was our 6th stay here....we will be back. Clean restrooms, clean cabins, campground is well-kept.The new owners are very friendly and accommodating...... as well as the staff in the office and on the grounds. Very convenient location for Presque Isle....15 minute drive to the park. Thank you for a great stay!!

Unfortunately this was only an overnight stay! This KOA is by far the nicest; cleanest well kept campground that I have seen in a long time. The owners and their staff were very friendly and accommodating. We walked around the immaculate grounds and did some laundry which was well maintained/clean. I would highly recommend this KOA to anyone .My only disappointment was that I couldn’t stay longe

Very nice place with beautiful grounds. Friendly and helpful people. We loved the long pull thru spots. Once their store remodeling gets done (delayed by Covid shortages) and everything is open for the season I will probably rate it 5 stars. This trip was to shake down a new 5th wheel so we didn't check out the laundry but hope to return again in a few weeks.

Before we could even get unhooked we had employees all over our group. They were fussing over parking passes, not parking on the grass and making a fuss over my disabled sons mobility scooter all before I was out of my truck. In the midst of the chaos they were causing I forgot a little detail while unhooking and did a small amount of damage. The playground is not toddler friendly either.

This was our first time out as we are newbies to everyone camping. The campground staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The grounds and amenities were clean and maintained. We are planning on returning at least one more time this year. Would definitely recommend spending time at this campground.

We arrived after a heavy rain. Our assigned site was under water. We made a call to the office and they immediately found another site that was fine. They were very accommodating. Would love to be there when warmer and drier!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED OUR STAY! We have 3 young children who were completely entertained the whole weekend with other young campers fishing and playing on the playground! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful through the whole experience too! We will definitely be returning this season!

We were only there a short time, and before their regular season had started, but the park was very clean, and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Although the campsite is located on a main road, I was afraid that the traffic would be excessive, and it really wasn't. We are headed west but will be stopping there again, on our way back home. I am sure we will be back at other times.

It is obvious that they are under a transition of ownership. Things aren't the same as they used to be but hopefully with time it will feel the same. Very limited activities. Camp store under renovation with very small selection of items available. Our cabin was immaculate and bathrooms were also very clean. Staff was pleasant.

The facility and interaction with the staff was great! My only complaint would be the water. There was a discoloration, I do use an inline filter which was new at the start of the weekend and now it needs replaced after 4 days. I also cleaned my water heater after noticing the filter and found a significant amount of fine silt that got through the filter. Not a big deal, just wanted to bring it t.

Cabin was a little small but overall it was close to all activities and close to our friends that we came up with.

Our family loves this campground! Very family friendly! New owners are very nice and always working to make the campground an enjoyable place for all. And it's just a short drive to presque isle, the zoo and many other thing in Erie.

Just finished our 4th and unfortunately last trip for the '21 season. We had so much fun this summer at the McKean PA KOA!! We tent camped with amenities. This campground is family friendly with a heated pool, playground, arcade and other amenities for kids. We love the catch and release pond. There's some big ones in there, my husband has caught them. We really enjoyed ourselves everytime we stayed. (even when it rained) The staff were All Always Awesome!! They Always treated us Wonderfully!! The bathrooms were kept clean.The owner even gave us a specific site because of a medical condition I have. (Thank you Jamie!! :) All of our trips have been just what I needed after losing my Dad a few months ago. If you camp at KOA's we suggest signing up for the KOA Rewards program. It saves you money and you get to stay for free at a KOA one designated weekend a year. If you're planning a trip to Erie we Highly recommend the McKean, PA KOA!! The campground sits right off of I79 and beautiful Presque Isle is just a short drive away! We're planning to purchase a pop-up this off season and our first trip with it will be to the McKean. **UPDATE October 2021 We got our "new pup" and stayed in McKean for a long Halloween theme weekend. It was wonderful of the owners to plan such fun activities for the kiddos. I really enjoyed decorating and handing out candy!*** I also just want to say that we Never heard anyone around us ever complain about any of the staff any of the 5 times we stayed there! We also never saw or heard any type of confrontation between staff and guests anywhere in the campground. All we saw were Very Hard working owners & staff who just wanted to keep everyone happy & safe and ensure everyone had a good time!
