Amazing time, I just love this campground. It’s, hands down, my kids favorite place in the world. We stay for a week every year. This year they changed owners and we couldn’t be more happy. They are a wonderful couple and we look forward to coming for at least another 12 years!

Mattress was the worst I've slept on in a KOA - too soft - maybe needs to be replaced Very crowded It would have been so much better if cabin had a toilet and sink

We like your campground very much. We've stayed there many times in the past 10 years, but my ONLY complaint is the cost. Your prices for a camp site rival those in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, as well as many other popular destinations. With high prices for diesel, we are seriously contemplating selling our 5th wheel and driving our Prius and staying in motels in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at this KOA. My husband and I generally do not like to stay at KOAs due to general site overcrowding. We stayed at a 2 room camping cabin and were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed it. Our biggest complaint-the fire rings are not located in places that are easy to sit around.

New owner Jamie was great,people should be more compassionate in these hard times. We have been coming to this koa for 2 decades since I was little and now bringing our kids here. We rent the cabins, they were very clean, nice new mattresses. Sharon does go around at night with a flash light which is a little odd. They use to ride around on the golf cart to keep ppl quiet that was better.

Friendly staff. We stayed in a cabin. Cabin floor was dirty. Queen bed was very soft which for me does not work. Needs to be firmer. Especially when you are crawling over another person in bed to go to the bathroom. Other than that would recommend the cabin.

My daughter and grandchildren stayed with me. Very child and family friendly park. Clean and quiet with many amenities for the children. I like that they had strict rules about noise and quiet hours.

Bathrooms and Camping Cabin were clean and had all the basics we needed. Loved the movie night, especially since it rained and our outdoor plans changed for the day. Another great stay at Erie KOA!

The bathrooms needed more attention. They needed to be thoroughly cleaned more frequently. There was a high volume of people using the facilities and compared to other KOAs I have stayed at, these bathrooms were the not as clean.

It was horrible. The bathrooms were dirty. They were cleaned by the stuff on Sunday when we arrived and was never cleaned again till Wednesday. I rented 2 cabins and they said that the cabins were being cleaned and my son was sitting there waiting and no one went in or came out from cleaning them.

I stayed in a cabin with a bathroom. It was wonderful (like always) to be right by the pond. I love the porch swing too. It was also super nice of the staff to deliver the bundles of wood to my cabin. Every employee I encounter was super sweet and accommodating. I’ll be back again as soon as possible! Thank you!

service was excellent!! very cozy atmosphere. lots for kids to do. site was very clean. we stayed in L7, it was hard getting out of the site with it being one way and the electric (?) box on the other side of the road. should maybe be reserved for smaller cars.

We have been coming here for the past few years.When I heard there are new owners I was worried.Let me tell you that I had no reason to worry! It was still the great experience we had in the past. We met one of the new owners a few times. There were some maint issues and he was right on them. He was super nice. Everyone was nice and the facility was clean and well maintained.Will keep coming back!

The owners are in your face rude. Jamie had his flashlight inches from striking a member of my family in the face. He Swore multiple times in front of my children. Sharon was just as bad sneaking around between the sites eavesdropping and screaming the quiet time rules at us like we were children. They have ruined the KOA name and the family atmosphere. I am ashamed to be a KOA rewards member.

My family had a wonderful time during our stay. The kids especially enjoyed the huge jump pad. That is not something we’ve ever seen at another campground. Very cool! We were slightly disappointed that the AC in the cabin didn’t really work. We ended up shutting it off and just opening the windows to try and get a breeze. Overall, we will definitely be back.

Arriving staff was prompt on check in and courteous. They delivered our wood immediately as well. We enjoyed our site enough space between us and the neighbors. The only thing I noticed was I don't know what the cleaning schedule was on the bathrooms, but by Sunday it seemed as though they needed a clean down from us arriving Friday. Site close to all area activites.

Our families have stayed at this KOA for at least 2 decades. I understand that ownership has changed and covid did not help with being able to get much needed repairs done. We had tons of ants in every area of the cabin and silverfish too. There is a gross soft floor wood board in the kitchen that is a likely cause of some of the infestation. Not sure if we will be back. No discount given.

My family have been coming to this KOA for over 5+ years and we will never go back. The new owners are very rude and ignorant.They yelled at both of my boys for riding in the grass with pedal bikes but allow cars and trucks to park in the grass. Then we where around our fire our daughter was giggling she said if we cant keep it quiet put it in the cabin. My daughter isnt a dog. We wont be back.

My grandkids really miss the bubble machine , and pool is in need of a little bit of work. New mattress for the cabins. But a fun family atmosphere. We come every year at the 4 th of July. Wish we didn't have to rent for 3 days just because of holidays. It is quiet , friendly cozy place to be. Have been visiting there the last 5 years.. Absolutely Love it.. �

This was our first stay, in one of the deluxe cabins, and our whole family loved it! The cabin was clean and fit the 4 of us well, and great climate control! We appreciated the picnic table and fire grate on our site. Next time we’ll bring our rods. We are looking forward to coming back every year from now on! Thanks for a great stay!

Had a great stay. We had a family emergency so we had to leave 1 day early. Which was no ones fault, but I thought they would of at least offered us some money back, they didn't all.they gave us was the 10.00 key return fee back

We always get the deluxe cabin and it’s always clean and the campground is very well maintained. They play a movie at night on the big screen, which the kids really enjoy! We will definitely be back again next summer!

It was good. However we’ve stayed at several KOA’s and their are usually more amenities inside a basic cabin. We only had one electrical outlet. In the past there’s been mini fridge, microwave and tv. A second outlet and mini fridge would make a huge difference.

The grounds were beautiful. We stayed in the Tipi and it was great. All of the staff were super nice. The only thing is the store needs to stay open later in the evening so families can do the kart rides, etc.

We've been coming for about 7 years now, our stay was just as good as the rest, the new owners were very nice and helped when we needed it. The kids had a blast. The fishing was great with some big fish also. We will be back again!

We had a wonderful stay. Our cabin was clean and as advertised. The staff were always nice, And the campground and activities were in good working order. We were there during the week so they were not any special activities planned for the kids. My only comments for improvement would be the cloth shower curtain was mildewed at the bottom, & water ran brown at first when turned on; I had to buy H2O

VERY NICE, FAMILY FRIENDLY CAMPGROUND. IT WAS OUR 8TH TIME HERE AND ENJOYED IT. HOWEVER, THIS TIME 1 EMPLOYEE WAS VERY RUDE, MADE US GO INSIDE AT 11PM AS THAT IS QUIET TIME AND TOLD US WE COULDN'T SIT OUT CAUSE WE WERE TALKING. WE WERE SPEAKING SOFTLY, WAITING FOR CAMPFIRE TO GO OUT. NEXT DAY WE HAD A VISITOR FOR 5 MINUTES, SAME WORKER TOLD HER TO LEAVE NO PASS.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved the family atmosphere of the park and the safe feel of the environment. Quiet hours were a welcome part of our stay! The camping cabin we were in was clean and well equipped. We will definitely be back!

great except for the older long blonde lady... not a nice person. Heard a few campers say how ugly she spoke to them too. She needs a customer training class&new attitude on how to deal with people. I work with the public, and would never talk to others like her. Let her know you catch more flies with honey, than vinegar. The cabins, showers, playground, events all were wonderful, & rest of staff.

All good, except 1 staff, she was around 55-60, blondish long braided hair. Sucky attitude. The dice was too loud after quiet hour, instead of being nice & just telling us that, she scolded us like children, and then when leaving said (in a threatening voice) , "don't make me come back here again",also yelled at our neighbor for their 2yr old for being too loud. heard a few campers also about her

Our family loves this campground! Very family friendly! New owners are very nice and always working to make the campground an enjoyable place for all. And it's just a short drive to presque isle, the zoo and many other thing in Erie.

Just finished our 4th and unfortunately last trip for the '21 season. We had so much fun this summer at the McKean PA KOA!! We tent camped with amenities. This campground is family friendly with a heated pool, playground, arcade and other amenities for kids. We love the catch and release pond. There's some big ones in there, my husband has caught them. We really enjoyed ourselves everytime we stayed. (even when it rained) The staff were All Always Awesome!! They Always treated us Wonderfully!! The bathrooms were kept clean.The owner even gave us a specific site because of a medical condition I have. (Thank you Jamie!! :) All of our trips have been just what I needed after losing my Dad a few months ago. If you camp at KOA's we suggest signing up for the KOA Rewards program. It saves you money and you get to stay for free at a KOA one designated weekend a year. If you're planning a trip to Erie we Highly recommend the McKean, PA KOA!! The campground sits right off of I79 and beautiful Presque Isle is just a short drive away! We're planning to purchase a pop-up this off season and our first trip with it will be to the McKean. **UPDATE October 2021 We got our "new pup" and stayed in McKean for a long Halloween theme weekend. It was wonderful of the owners to plan such fun activities for the kiddos. I really enjoyed decorating and handing out candy!*** I also just want to say that we Never heard anyone around us ever complain about any of the staff any of the 5 times we stayed there! We also never saw or heard any type of confrontation between staff and guests anywhere in the campground. All we saw were Very Hard working owners & staff who just wanted to keep everyone happy & safe and ensure everyone had a good time!
