Stayed in L9 cabin - nice location(shaded and very close to bath house) had everything we needed except a night lite(we are older and have to pee at night!) very clean,bed was comfortable. Very close to presque isle/easy drive using rt.832. We like to fish and bike. Would do this again.

Very nice, this was our second stay at the kid's request. We missed Carly the goat this time, but enjoyed fishing in the pond and swimming in the pool again. It's just a short trip in to Presque Isle, the Erie Zoo or the Children's Museum from the campground.

We stayed Memorial Day weekend 2021 and it was very cold. We stayed in a cabin they didn’t have any heat source for the cabin so we had to go out and purchase small heaters. I think they should have space heaters to rent for the weekend it ends up being cold. Other than that everything was perfect and the staff was very friendly! We would definitely be back, talking about a weekend very soon!!!

Great stay! The owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nice, well kept campground. I stayed in a primitive cabin. It was very clean and bordered a nice wooded setting. The communal showers/restrooms were clean. The showers stalls are small. Could stand some updating to make them more user friendly. They have a fold-down bench, which is not ideal if you're juggling clothes, etc.

Always so friendly and accommodating. The owner drives around the campsite after dusk with wood for anyone that needs wood. Saved us on a 43 degree temp night when we almost ran out of wood. Such a simple gesture and much appreciated.

Me and my family had a great camping weekend. We had a group of 15 and it was awesome. Everyone is always so nice and friendly. We love going to the Erie KOA. Your employees are great and always very Nice.. it was also nice to meet the new owners. They both are very nice. We enjoyed talking to them and learning their story and how they became owners.

My boyfriend and I with our dog Lula stayed here for the weekend, and These New Owners Were So Nice!!! The cabin was super clean!! The new owners have a golf cart that comes around with fire wood at night in case you need more and we loved that! They delivered ice to our cabin while we finished up our walk and they were just so Pleasant! Definitely 11/10 recommend!!!! Will be going back!

This was my first time staying in a deluxe cabin, the double bed was very comfy I didn't want to get out of bed and the cabin was very clean and the new owner handled a minor problem right away.

We have been going there since my children were babies. They are now 7 and 9. I never felt unsafe there until now. My husband was cleaning up our site Friday evening and the owner showed up out of no where to tell us it's time to wrap it up we were not loud at all.my daughter threw a glass bottle in a garbage bag. My girls were frightened. No flashlight no golf cart just him. We will not return.

Exceptional KOA. This was our 6th stay here....we will be back. Clean restrooms, clean cabins, campground is well-kept.The new owners are very friendly and accommodating...... as well as the staff in the office and on the grounds. Very convenient location for Presque Isle....15 minute drive to the park. Thank you for a great stay!!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED OUR STAY! We have 3 young children who were completely entertained the whole weekend with other young campers fishing and playing on the playground! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful through the whole experience too! We will definitely be returning this season!

It is obvious that they are under a transition of ownership. Things aren't the same as they used to be but hopefully with time it will feel the same. Very limited activities. Camp store under renovation with very small selection of items available. Our cabin was immaculate and bathrooms were also very clean. Staff was pleasant.

Cabin was a little small but overall it was close to all activities and close to our friends that we came up with.

Our family loves this campground! Very family friendly! New owners are very nice and always working to make the campground an enjoyable place for all. And it's just a short drive to presque isle, the zoo and many other thing in Erie.

Just finished our 4th and unfortunately last trip for the '21 season. We had so much fun this summer at the McKean PA KOA!! We tent camped with amenities. This campground is family friendly with a heated pool, playground, arcade and other amenities for kids. We love the catch and release pond. There's some big ones in there, my husband has caught them. We really enjoyed ourselves everytime we stayed. (even when it rained) The staff were All Always Awesome!! They Always treated us Wonderfully!! The bathrooms were kept clean.The owner even gave us a specific site because of a medical condition I have. (Thank you Jamie!! :) All of our trips have been just what I needed after losing my Dad a few months ago. If you camp at KOA's we suggest signing up for the KOA Rewards program. It saves you money and you get to stay for free at a KOA one designated weekend a year. If you're planning a trip to Erie we Highly recommend the McKean, PA KOA!! The campground sits right off of I79 and beautiful Presque Isle is just a short drive away! We're planning to purchase a pop-up this off season and our first trip with it will be to the McKean. **UPDATE October 2021 We got our "new pup" and stayed in McKean for a long Halloween theme weekend. It was wonderful of the owners to plan such fun activities for the kiddos. I really enjoyed decorating and handing out candy!*** I also just want to say that we Never heard anyone around us ever complain about any of the staff any of the 5 times we stayed there! We also never saw or heard any type of confrontation between staff and guests anywhere in the campground. All we saw were Very Hard working owners & staff who just wanted to keep everyone happy & safe and ensure everyone had a good time!
