Didn't get the site we reserved last year for this holiday weekend. It was clear we were bumped for a larger group. The site we got was the smallest RV site I've ever seen. If you booked last season call to confirm your site before showing up and getting stuck someone you won't like.

This is one of our favorite places to camp! The facility is super clean. The staff is super friendly. We had LOTS of rain when we were there and the staff were doing everything they could to help with drainage, potholes, mud, etc. All around GREAT place!!! Keep up the GREAT WORK.

Patio Sites were amazing, lots of room and yard space, hookups were great with 30 amp and 50 amp separated. The bathouses were very clean, pool was 82 degrees and nice for the kids. Lots to do, fishing pond was nice and the staff was very friendly and always driving around to make sure everything was taken care of and trash was picked up. dj was fun 4 all! Definately will to come back again!!!

Overall a great KOA for families with kids. Most of the facilities appeared well maintained, but we had a deluxe patio site (030) which needed its spring cleaning, especially weed control on the brick patio. Kids, dogs, and smoky fire pits were everywhere, so if you don’t like those things, best to find another place to camp.

It was a cold beginning to the Memorial Day weekend, but my 4 grandchildren enjoyed themselves immensely. The playground, jumping pad, and heated pool were great. The only negative and not in any way the fault of the campground was the movie nights at the pavilion. It was so cold the little ones could not attend. An indoor facility might have been nice. The sites were spacious, clean and level.

Excellent campground. Very clean and well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful. Even during a full weekend, the campground was quiet in the evening. Lots of great activities onsite as well as easy access to area attractions. Would choose this place again.

Had an excellent time...Only thing that was bad is the spot for the popup was back where the tents were and there was mud everywhere ...Would be nice if the Koa would put gravel down...Bathrooms right beside their were dirty but the bathrooms closest to the office and the ones that were towards the pond were well maintained and much more cleaner...

Weekend of 5/21/21. We had a very nice stay overall. Bathrooms were clean. Pull through lots are very close together with very few trees.

I booked a stay but had car trouble and was unable to make it for my stay I called to get even a parcial refund and was denied any compensation I’ve been a member for several years and felt at least a cancellation fee would have been appropriate under these circumstances

Need to trim some trees on entrance and going through the area by dump Station to exit. Branches and stuff scratching rv because sticking out when driving past.

Since we are longtime campers of this KOA at least a couple of decades, we feel that the new hosts are going to continue the great service we have always enjoyed. The new remodeling of the office and store looks good. Only 2 comments ,always make sure dog walks have pick up bags! Store hours need to be clearly posted and need to be on Saturday open until at least 9pm. Good luck

very relaxing. the staff went out of they way to make our camping experience enjoyable. we met other incredible people from around the country. that shows me that these people hold your campgrounds in high regard. the area was always kept clean and orderly. being pet friendly is a big plus.

The campground is exceptionally well maintained and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The campground is very convenient to many of the tourist attractions in the Erie area.

Staff wasn’t very friendly at all tv hook up didn’t work properly (we even had the staff work on it ). Camp store opened late and closed early. We will never stay again

The new owners were very nice people that had genuine concern that your stay would be pleasant. The staff was great also (especially Spencer who we enjoyed talking with. He demonstrated commitment to his job). The ground were well kept and all of the facilities were clean and functional. There were a lot of children present, which was really nice to see families enjoying their stay.

We only did an overnight stay but had wished we could've stayed longer. It is a beautiful area with LOTS to do and explore right at the campground. Wonderfully set up and designed and very neat and clean. We hope to get back there again! Thank you!

this was the best koa we have ever stayed at. the owners anlre super awsome and nice. the grounds are beautifully landscaped. bathrooms could of been cleaner but with not having help i totaly understand. we asked to be close to the bathrooms and they delivered even asking if we wanted to pay a small fee to upgrade to be closer. which we did. awsome site 16. really can't wait to come back

Couldnt ask for better people. We ended up having an accident with out camper on the way to the camp ground. We ended up not pulling in till 10pm. When we arrived they were watching for us. They ended up taking us right to our site. After a disaster of a drive out it was nice to have caring people guide us in since it was so dark.

Nicely maintained campground. Sites and road have fresh gravel. A landscaped garden greets you at the check in office. There are plenty of activities for kids. The movie nights are in the covered pavilion, rain or shine. Pancake breakfast is filling and fun to chat with other campers. Bathhouses are clean and nearby. The owners and all the staff are friendly and helpful which is the best.

Normally I rate the Erie KOA a five but this time I was really not satisfied with my site. It was just ok. Cable hookup was really difficult due to its location and since we were right beside the entrance road, dust from vehicles not obeying the speed sign caused us a problem. Also, we were entirely too close to the site next to us.

Loved Campground! Everyone is so friendly and extremely helpful. Loved that the grounds were fairly level too! Much easier to set up. We will be back!

First time stay at this park. We would not hesitate to stay again. Staff were very helpful about the area and provided great conversation. Numerous items being taken to continue the improvement of the facility.

Our family loves this campground! Very family friendly! New owners are very nice and always working to make the campground an enjoyable place for all. And it's just a short drive to presque isle, the zoo and many other thing in Erie.

Just finished our 4th and unfortunately last trip for the '21 season. We had so much fun this summer at the McKean PA KOA!! We tent camped with amenities. This campground is family friendly with a heated pool, playground, arcade and other amenities for kids. We love the catch and release pond. There's some big ones in there, my husband has caught them. We really enjoyed ourselves everytime we stayed. (even when it rained) The staff were All Always Awesome!! They Always treated us Wonderfully!! The bathrooms were kept clean.The owner even gave us a specific site because of a medical condition I have. (Thank you Jamie!! :) All of our trips have been just what I needed after losing my Dad a few months ago. If you camp at KOA's we suggest signing up for the KOA Rewards program. It saves you money and you get to stay for free at a KOA one designated weekend a year. If you're planning a trip to Erie we Highly recommend the McKean, PA KOA!! The campground sits right off of I79 and beautiful Presque Isle is just a short drive away! We're planning to purchase a pop-up this off season and our first trip with it will be to the McKean. **UPDATE October 2021 We got our "new pup" and stayed in McKean for a long Halloween theme weekend. It was wonderful of the owners to plan such fun activities for the kiddos. I really enjoyed decorating and handing out candy!*** I also just want to say that we Never heard anyone around us ever complain about any of the staff any of the 5 times we stayed there! We also never saw or heard any type of confrontation between staff and guests anywhere in the campground. All we saw were Very Hard working owners & staff who just wanted to keep everyone happy & safe and ensure everyone had a good time!
