Very well maintained campground. Owned by a husband and wife. Wife is rude. Quiet time is at 11 and we were sitting outside talking not being loud at all and she came around at 11:30 and told us to keep our talking to our campsite and talked down to us. I don’t like that they put us on a short site but 2 vehicles shorter in larger sites in our row. But yet not allowed to be in the grass!

We only stayed one night but the first couple site are very tight… other sites seem more spacious .. looking forward to coming back for a weekend

Except for the problem with WI-FI our stay was fantastic as it always is. The restrooms are clean as is the campground. I do recommend Erie to my camping friends because of its location relative to Erie and everything there is to do there.

Called on Thursday for a Friday and Saturday stay& they had a spot for us. After we arrived we decided we wanted a third night and they moved some things around and got us in. The young man was very helpful.

I enjoy how close this koa campsite is to presque isle and Lake Erie. Did the Ale Trail and wine trail this stay… a lot of fun!

One nite in Pull thru full hook up. Some road noise but not at night. Very nice park, friendly and helpful owners. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Didn't use any of the amenities, however, the site was easy in easy out, the utilities all worked very well and of course the neighbors were super friendly.

We had a lovely site with a full patio with table and chairs, glider and grill. We took advantage of the patio with grilling steaks for dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Erie KOA wasn't far from 90 so it was a great stop over for one night. We have a 34 foot 5th wheel and we had plenty of space for both the truck and 5th wheel. We could have stayed hooked up if we wanted to.

Erie KOA is an extremely nice campground. Very clean and well kept. Staff is friendly and helpful and we would highly recommend staying there.

Nice campground with level pull thru sites. This was the second time we stayed there and would definitely go back again. Great spot to stay if you want to shop in Erie or got to the beach or bike on Presque Isle. Staff is great and campground is extra clean! Lots to do if you have kids!

Dry meat and clean. Sites were level. I was going to mark it down because some facilities were closed, but I assume they were closed due to the season.

The only shortcoming is that flat concrete pads are best. The park was clean and the employees friendly and helpful.

We use our camper for stop journey while traveling back and forth from Midwest to east coast. The staff at Mckean is great and we feel like coming home when we camp here twice each trip/year .

The only reason I didn’t give it a ten was because on the dog K9 park was way to small and a large dog could jump over the hip height fence! My dog didn’t even want to go into it so he pooped in the woods that I still scooped up. Didn’t stay long but facilities were very nice and lots to do. Nicest KOA that we have stayed!

Our family loves this campground! Very family friendly! New owners are very nice and always working to make the campground an enjoyable place for all. And it's just a short drive to presque isle, the zoo and many other thing in Erie.

Just finished our 4th and unfortunately last trip for the '21 season. We had so much fun this summer at the McKean PA KOA!! We tent camped with amenities. This campground is family friendly with a heated pool, playground, arcade and other amenities for kids. We love the catch and release pond. There's some big ones in there, my husband has caught them. We really enjoyed ourselves everytime we stayed. (even when it rained) The staff were All Always Awesome!! They Always treated us Wonderfully!! The bathrooms were kept clean.The owner even gave us a specific site because of a medical condition I have. (Thank you Jamie!! :) All of our trips have been just what I needed after losing my Dad a few months ago. If you camp at KOA's we suggest signing up for the KOA Rewards program. It saves you money and you get to stay for free at a KOA one designated weekend a year. If you're planning a trip to Erie we Highly recommend the McKean, PA KOA!! The campground sits right off of I79 and beautiful Presque Isle is just a short drive away! We're planning to purchase a pop-up this off season and our first trip with it will be to the McKean. **UPDATE October 2021 We got our "new pup" and stayed in McKean for a long Halloween theme weekend. It was wonderful of the owners to plan such fun activities for the kiddos. I really enjoyed decorating and handing out candy!*** I also just want to say that we Never heard anyone around us ever complain about any of the staff any of the 5 times we stayed there! We also never saw or heard any type of confrontation between staff and guests anywhere in the campground. All we saw were Very Hard working owners & staff who just wanted to keep everyone happy & safe and ensure everyone had a good time!
