Loved the spot number 57. The staff was so nice. We didn't have a long enough water hose, I went into the store to buy another hose and Sue and didn't get the other ladies name went to the back and got me one to use. We appreciated that. The campground as a whole was very nice and clean. We took nice walks. We've never been to a campground that was so quiet. Loved it.

Our third time here and we've always enjoyed our stay. Nice sites, well maintained grounds, friendly staff and lots to do for the kids. We'll be back, I'm sure.

The owners seemed to single out people if they weren’t acting exactly like they wanted. We were told we could park in the grass area off to the side of our camping area and then was told our last day that we had to get off the grass because we were going to kill it. Then harassed our group for having music on that wasn’t even loud. The employees were even talking about how strict the owners we

Nice campground, nice people in the store. The only thing I would have changed is the closeness of the camper on site 11 - we were on site 12 and they guy on 11 had virtually no yard for his table and stuff.

The wifi was slow. My parents site was too short for their camper and truck so they were warned not to park on the grass, even though long term campers had vehicles on grass. Pool was kind of small and crowded. Slides were not safe for toddlers. The nightly movies were nice and the store was good. Need stickers for campers though. We also enjoyed the pirate show. We would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was really clean and the kids loved how big the pool was. Will definitely come back to camp again!!!!

We love this KOA. The owners Jamie and Sharon are awesome...I don't think they ever sleep. They are always doing something in the campground...cutting grass, checking people in, working in the store, cleaning cabins, delivering firewood, I could go on and on about how great they are. We have reservations in September and it will be our third stay there this summer. So much for kids to do also.

The new owners (Jamie and his wife) are 100% dedicated to making sure each of their guests have a great camping experience. It was wonderful to see how this campground paid particular attention to the children and grandchildren (we don’t have yet), the most family-friendly campground we have ever encountered.

We had Lot#30 and really enjoyed the privacy and space. It was cleaner than most with the brick patio.

Pool was clean! Been to actual resorts that had nasty pools but this one was clean! Grounds were kept up and clean. Interactions with staff and owners were friendly.

Always a pleasant stay with you. Probably would ask for a different site than 006 next time but only because we didn't have enough room to put out our awning. Otherwise perfect stay!

Once again my family and I had a wonderful time at the KOA campground in Erie, Pa. Jamie, the new owner is a very personable and helpful person, he made us feel welcomed.

Friendly people. The camp sites were clean and very well kept. There was no loud people music or noise. It was a joy to me to see the kids playing and the furry animals. A great place to relax

Easy check in, clean restrooms and showers. I was right by the playground which was a little loud and annoying but for someone with kids I’m sure it would have been great.

We had such a nice weekend at Erie KOA. The pool was so nice and the fishing was excellent. The kids loved the scavenger hunt and the ice cream social. The employees were amazing and so very helpful! This is one of our favorite campgrounds!

Arrived late in the day and was lucky to find a spot for our 20 ft trailer (a benefit of a small camper!). Park is very nice, lots of fun seeing kids running/biking around. Very quiet at night. Will definitely stay here again when passing through.

Our stay was great. The only problem was there was absolutely no shade and it was in the 90's when we stayed there. Just need more trees by campsites. The staff was great and very pollite and the owner was as well. We would stay there again.

Return customer, loved the place as always. Wish some of the activities advertised on the site had happened (pancake breakfast, coffee in the shop, bounce pad), but unfortunately short staffed as are so many businesses today. That said, Jamey and his team did a phenomenal job, can't wait to come back next year!

We have been camping for 30 years and this is by far the worst experience we have ever had. I don’t even know how to describe the strange and rude behavior of the female owner. She approaches anyone sitting out at their fire even if you’re being very quiet as were. She insulted us, threatened to kick us out for no reason. She kept standing there wanting confrontation. We had a great time. The Owners are very nice and go above and beyond. Even though they were short staffed (College students returning to school) you never did not see a worker or the owner out and about. The owner even took it upon himself to for warn everyone about high winds coming and helped to lower someone’s canopy so it didn’t get damaged since the campers weren’t home.

Would not stay here ever again! Woman walked around arguing with people who were following the rules. Threatened us that we had to leave knowing that customers had been drinking. Would never stay here again due to the harassment we dealt with.

Our family loves this campground! Very family friendly! New owners are very nice and always working to make the campground an enjoyable place for all. And it's just a short drive to presque isle, the zoo and many other thing in Erie.

Just finished our 4th and unfortunately last trip for the '21 season. We had so much fun this summer at the McKean PA KOA!! We tent camped with amenities. This campground is family friendly with a heated pool, playground, arcade and other amenities for kids. We love the catch and release pond. There's some big ones in there, my husband has caught them. We really enjoyed ourselves everytime we stayed. (even when it rained) The staff were All Always Awesome!! They Always treated us Wonderfully!! The bathrooms were kept clean.The owner even gave us a specific site because of a medical condition I have. (Thank you Jamie!! :) All of our trips have been just what I needed after losing my Dad a few months ago. If you camp at KOA's we suggest signing up for the KOA Rewards program. It saves you money and you get to stay for free at a KOA one designated weekend a year. If you're planning a trip to Erie we Highly recommend the McKean, PA KOA!! The campground sits right off of I79 and beautiful Presque Isle is just a short drive away! We're planning to purchase a pop-up this off season and our first trip with it will be to the McKean. **UPDATE October 2021 We got our "new pup" and stayed in McKean for a long Halloween theme weekend. It was wonderful of the owners to plan such fun activities for the kiddos. I really enjoyed decorating and handing out candy!*** I also just want to say that we Never heard anyone around us ever complain about any of the staff any of the 5 times we stayed there! We also never saw or heard any type of confrontation between staff and guests anywhere in the campground. All we saw were Very Hard working owners & staff who just wanted to keep everyone happy & safe and ensure everyone had a good time!
