Campground was clean and well maintained. Quiet time was quiet. Close to attractions. Did not care much for the corner site we were given though, felt like we were camp hosts.

While the campground itself is lovely, clean with things for the kids to do, the new owners have left a very bad impression. I made these reservations in January to vacation with our teenage grandchildren. The reviews at that time were awesome. Fast forward through on ownership change and the new owners are tyrants. Not allowed around your campfire after 11. So much for campfire memories this year

It was horrible we kept blowing the circuit. The circuit was hanging out of the box. Told owner 2 times. The second time he went to another site and took another circuit. It blew 1 time after that. He told us we were costing money by blowing the circuit. My daugther and her family had 2 cabins. Our grandson stopped down to see us and Jamie said did we have more company again.

Had a great stay, kids had a lot of fun with all their amenities. Enjoyed short drive to Presque isle. Met new owners of the campground who are very nice and helpful. They really do their best for being short staffed. Also I would add that this place seems to be very family friendly. Taking our dog for a walk at night all you hear are the crickets. My kind of place, definitely going back soon.

Not sure you want to hear it. My family 2 boys and two friends have been there for the past 4 seasons, sometimes with more people sometime less,always happy to pay our fair share. Did not happen this visit, 5vpeopke with pop-up, and two 1 man tents.toytal of five people, all the owner had to say was the ladt owner was lax, so we rented another across the street. The people in the front office were very friendly and helpful. However they need to hire more staff. The bathrooms were often very dirty and smelly. I understand that everywhere businesses are short staffed so maybe this location and others that are short-staffed should not allow so many guests at once so that they can keep up with the cleaning.

This campground not only cares about the sites, but also their customers. Loved the ice cream social. The site was probably the nicest site I have ever. My daughter fell at the playground --got a scratch or two - and the staff member (wish I had his name) was awesome, he even brought her a treat from the store and checked on her the next day--He exemplified care of customers.

We have stayed here 2 times now for a reunion with friends and both times we were not disappointed. The grounds are well maintained. Our site was very nice. We will definitely be back!

We stayed 3 nights. This is our 4th time camping here. It’s always quiet and clean. We will be back next summer for sure.

Absolutely gorgeous campground! Very pristine! We stayed on the patio RV pads…. Was probably the best site we’ve been too!! We will be back in 3 weeks! That’s how much we loved it!

BEWARE!! The owners of this KOA are absurd! Do not try to reason with them, they lie! The quiet time is 11pm and by 11:05 they are threatening to kick you out if you are still sitting by your fire. They will hide by your camper and listen to what you are saying to use it against you. They want to run this campground like a Nazi prison. They will shine a flashlight in your face to interrogate you

Site was very nice and convenient with little ones (close to pool and playground) pond very clean. Paddleboats could use an upgrade. Quiet time at 11 is STRICTLY enforced. I feel it is taken a little overboard, don't see the harm in sitting outside quietly. Don't feel you need to be "at a whisper"

My tent site was so close to the one next to me that we could hear them whisper. Gravel was almost impossible to stake a tent to. We stayed one night and then moved to a hotel. Will never go back

Great but at 11 pm is quite time and you can't even talk at your site. Good for pass through but campers that want to camp and have fires and gather with friend 11 pm water on fire or you get yelled at by the lady. Understand quite time but they take it to whisper time and it's not fun any more.

What a great place with great people! It was evident the staff took pride in the property and facilities. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The pool, laundry, and rec room we’re in great shape.

One of the best!! My husband and I traveled to Maine this summer and have stayed in 6 different KOA's. This site is clean, there is a lot to do. It was very close to Presque Isle, which we wanted to visit. The showers were very clean

We love this campground. In fact a have a stay in August and September booked already. The new owners are great. The grounds and the bathroom are kept pristine. We can't wait to bring our grandchildren with us in August.

We love this campground and it is becoming a family tradition with us, as this was our 3rd year of camping there. The grounds are beautifully kept, the pool is always immaculate and the fishing pond never disappoints. All of the campers are always respectful of each other, and we've never had any problems with anyone being too loud or unruly. Just love it and highly recommend staying there!

Nice park that is clean and well maintained. Nice pool and other amenities. Low rating due to being put in worst site in park. Being right next to pool wasn’t so bad, but so close to jumping pad that the blower noise made life outside miserable. Worse was living in the mud. Higher sites had good gravel but we were quite low and had little to none. Should not be a site. We will never come back.

In a word - vibrant! We stayed one night while enroute to another Koa, would love to stay longer. Remarkably clean, every corner is so clean, so neat and tidy. Kids playing, ppl walking around all over, campfires, friendliness everywhere, just a happy place. A great destination for families and grands and everyone.

We will never stay at Erie Kia again. The owner sneaks around in a black robe at night. She crouches down ON UR CAMP SITE! Hiding to see who’s up so she can kick u out if u talk above a whisper. (says u have to whisper after 11pm) KOA, your name is on the sign, not Hitler. (What we learned the campers call her the first hour we were there!) if KOA thinks this is ok, my 30 years w/them are over!

Our five day camping experience was fantastic. Pool was very clean, playground with the hugh jump Pad kept my grandkids always happy. Things to do like the pancake breakfast and ice cream social. And a DJ one evening. Very family focused but something for everyone to enjoy. Bathrooms very clean. Thank you Erie Holiday KOA - we will be back.

PARK WAS VERY CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED DISPITE ALL THE RAIN. /THE OWNER WAS VERY ATTENTIVE TO HIS GUESTS AND MADE SURE THEY WERE WELL TAKEN CARE OF.

Our family loves this campground! Very family friendly! New owners are very nice and always working to make the campground an enjoyable place for all. And it's just a short drive to presque isle, the zoo and many other thing in Erie.

Just finished our 4th and unfortunately last trip for the '21 season. We had so much fun this summer at the McKean PA KOA!! We tent camped with amenities. This campground is family friendly with a heated pool, playground, arcade and other amenities for kids. We love the catch and release pond. There's some big ones in there, my husband has caught them. We really enjoyed ourselves everytime we stayed. (even when it rained) The staff were All Always Awesome!! They Always treated us Wonderfully!! The bathrooms were kept clean.The owner even gave us a specific site because of a medical condition I have. (Thank you Jamie!! :) All of our trips have been just what I needed after losing my Dad a few months ago. If you camp at KOA's we suggest signing up for the KOA Rewards program. It saves you money and you get to stay for free at a KOA one designated weekend a year. If you're planning a trip to Erie we Highly recommend the McKean, PA KOA!! The campground sits right off of I79 and beautiful Presque Isle is just a short drive away! We're planning to purchase a pop-up this off season and our first trip with it will be to the McKean. **UPDATE October 2021 We got our "new pup" and stayed in McKean for a long Halloween theme weekend. It was wonderful of the owners to plan such fun activities for the kiddos. I really enjoyed decorating and handing out candy!*** I also just want to say that we Never heard anyone around us ever complain about any of the staff any of the 5 times we stayed there! We also never saw or heard any type of confrontation between staff and guests anywhere in the campground. All we saw were Very Hard working owners & staff who just wanted to keep everyone happy & safe and ensure everyone had a good time!
