Stop and see the Grand Canyon IMAX theater then begin your day with a visit to the National Park Visitor's Center to get maps, brochures and view the slide presentation. Stop at Mather Point, Yavapai Point and Museum, historic El Tovar Lodge and the Bright Angel Lodge then begin your tour of the West Rim by free shuttle bus - this is an 8 mile one-way trip and shuttles come by every 15 minutes so take your time at the various overlooks. Directions to The Deer Farm:

  1. Start at Grand Canyon KOA (Williams, AZ).
  2. Head east on I-40 toward Flagstaff/Williams.
  3. Take Exit 171 for Deer Farm Rd/Pittman Valley Rd.
  4. At the top of the exit ramp:
    • If coming from the west (toward Flagstaff), turn left over the interstate.
    • If coming from the east (toward Williams), turn right over the interstate.

  5. At the stop sign, make a quick double left (almost a U-turn) onto Deer Farm Rd.
  6. Follow Deer Farm Rd about half a mile to the Grand Canyon Deer Farm parking area on the right.

Total distance: roughly 5–6 miles from the KOA to Grand Canyon Deer Farm.
