Despite GPS telling you otherwise, the easiest way to enter the Park is to turn E off Hwy 16/20 (at Brandies Candies & across from Family Dollar) onto 4th Ave N. Go straight 4 blocks directly into the Park. You will be driving through a small town neighborhood and there are NO STOP SIGNS on our cross Streets, so drive slowly, and be prepared to yield at all intersections.
Coming from the East? You can come over the Big Horn Mountains via Hwy16 from Buffalo to Worland (the southern route) or Hwy 14 from Sheridan to Greybull (the northern route). Both go over the Big Horn mountains, both take you through stunning mountains and end in spectacular canyons and both are about the same distance.
RV'ers tend to find Hwy 16 easier, with fewer switchbacks and steep grades. Both are stunning mountain drives that you will want to drive during daylight and remember for a lifetime.
Of NOTE: Hwy 16 should be taken all the way to Worland, then Hwy 14/16/20 to Greybull.

Nestled at the base of the Big Horn Mountains, our little campground is perfectly situated between Mt. Rushmore to the East (350 miles) and Yellowstone National Park to the West (100 miles), making us the perfect stopover for your Northwestern Adventure. But don't be surprised if, once here, you opt to stay a little longer! From here, day trips allow you to explore two canyons, hike mountain trails, visit spectacular waterfalls; fish mountain streams, find wild horses, walk in the footsteps of the dinosaurs, and so much more!
When was the last time you were on a virtually alone? Have you swam in a waterfall with just a few other people? Or driven for hours without seeing another car, with only a Moose or an Antelope to entertain you? The ability to be alone with Nature is everywhere here. But it's not just the unspoiled extraordinary natural beauty that will entice you!
Our level, concrete RV sites make setting up a breeze! Each site includes a patio with a table and chairs, a fire pit and a charcoal BBQ. Our deluxe sites add more space, a garden swing and a propane barbeque. If you truly want to be pampered, try our full hook-up, deluxe back-in site, with privacy fence and its own Hot Tub!
Even our tent sites are designed to spoil. Sites are grassy, shaded and offer electric outlets and a fire-pit. Our little cabins all have air conditioning, TV, a microwave, a small refrigerator, and a porch with a swing and charcoal grill. All of our Deluxe Cabins have 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a private patio with a gas grill and a full kitchenette. However you choose to camp - we've got you covered!
In between adventures, you can catch up on your laundry or update your social media using our free Wi-Fi. Or step back in time and enjoy a leisurely walk into town, visit our museum and shops on Main Street. There are plenty of food options for breakfast lunch or dinner. The people are friendly and life is just slower here. Stay a few days and you'll see what we mean.
