The place is simple and clean, hot water abundant washer/dryer and incredibly attentive staff. A sanctuary for travelers and anyone interested in the Custer Battlefield or in attending any of the open events on the Crow reservation. I had one mistake with a reservation for a cabin but they straightened it out immediately!

This KOA is extremely outdated. There is no green grass(weeds everywhere) and unkept. The only thing I can say good about this place is that it was convenient and the showers were good.

The employees were so kind and professional but the cabin was full of ticks and spiders and the top bunk mattress was damaged and leaned significantly. In cabin 2, the door would not fully open, you could see through some of the logs to the outside and the air conditioner needs a re-charge. A few more issues but they could not be addressed since staff left at 10pm and didn't come in until 10am.

Campground was very clean and quiet. We arrived about 8 or 9 and no one was in the office and our key was left hanging on the door with our paperwork, which was odd. While our cabin was clean, the door was very, very difficult to open and scraped against the floor. We had to use full body weight to push it open even half way. Mirror was placed behind this horrible door rendering it useless.

Cabin was clean. Air Conditioner unit could use a little more boost for cooling. It wasn't cooling very fast.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The camping cabin had A/C that worked in the 102 degree weather. And the pool was open and ready for use. Hardin KOA had everything we needed!

I have loved every KOA that we have been to. This one, by far is the worst. The people were very friendly. The “rental” that they put us in was horrible! Dirty and smelled awful. I spent my own money on cleaners and disinfectants to try and diminish the odors. I just can not believe that they would actually take peoples money for that!

We were late arrivals and when we got there we had no key or clear directions to a cabin. The paper they left we found by chance because it wasn’t in the box next to the door like the other KOA’s. The paper had an old cabin number that wasn’t even on the map. The management had no after hrs contact info so we got lucky and found an empty cabin with the door wide open. We slept there and got

Cabin needs to be cleaned. The logs were very dusty and there were cob webs. The mattress on the bottom bunk was horrible. Needs to be put in the trash.

We rented a cabin that was full service. The grounds were uncared for. The cabin itself had not been cleaned, aired out or prepared in any way for our stay. We later learned that this cabin had been slated to be torn down the year before. It should not have been rented out at all. The staff were very friendly though.

The staff is delightful, friendly and helpful. The grounds for the most part are well maintained. But there could be a higher level of attention paid on detail that would show polish and elevate the experience for the guests. And these aren't difficult or expensive things. Like cleaning the windows and clearing the cob webs from the windows of the Kamper Kabins.

Reserved a cabin with 2 double beds under top bunks & was not given that - we were given a cabin w/2 single bunk beds. Told man in office & showed him the reservation, man argued & said they didn't have cabins like that. They did, it was more like a house. Mattresses were dirty. Outside area full of goat heads. No locks on bathrooms & had men walk into the ladies room not once, but twice.

We had a great stay. The facilities were clean, the staff was friendly and added decorative touches were fun. We didn't stay much in waking hours but it was a perfect stop on our journey.

Definitely disappointing. We were overcharged to begin with, and told up to 30 days for our money back. The bunkhouse should not be rented out. It was not clean, huge cobwebs in bedroom. There is pipe across the ceiling to hold the ceiling up. There are so many soft spots in the floor, its unsafe. The water absolutely reeked like sulfur. Needs to be repaired, updated and cleaned. updated.

I would only stay again if I had an RV, travel trailer or fifth wheel. The camping cabins are extremely run down and dirty! The entire campground is run down and in need of repair and updating.

The front desk waited for me to arrive even though the office was closed. He was very kind and welcoming. I love the open space around this KOA. Plenty of room to walk the dogs and I'm always thankful for the pet area so my older dog and just walk around without wandering off. Cabin was very clean but the door stuck a little and was difficult to get locked at times but overall it was a great!

We loved our quick stay with Hardin KOA. The owners were friendly, knowledgeable, and our cabin was clean. Also, the bathrooms/showers were clean and worked great. I called ahead to ask about our vehicle and they were super helpful and prepared for our arrival. It was also very quiet and peaceful. (Be sure to check out the stars!) Our dog was happy here too. We arrived right at closing, but the owner stayed a few min longer to make sure we were settled in. Clean campground, and close to services. Sadly no campfires were allowed because of being in a High Risk timeframe, but that’s okay. The one room cabin was comfy and clean, just what we needed, and our Golden Retriever had a blast. Great experience all around.

It was an oasis for us. Arrived by motorcycle in the afternoon with temperatures hitting 100 in early July. We had left Missoula that morning riding through Helena and Billings. Cabin had air conditioning and the pool was open. We Met a delightful couple from North Dakota next door and we chatted until early evening. Dining in Hardin is limited so plan accordingly.

Very primitive. I have never stayed at a KOA that was like this. Cabin was very old, but seemed clean. We stayed in several camping cabins on our trip, but this was the worst. Everything here seemed like it really needed to be updated. We would have loved to use the pool, but it closed at 7- soon after we got there.

Originally booked a tent, but due to a blown tire, we were running a couple of hours behind. Called and easily switched to a cabin. Bathrooms were nice. We did have to run a few pesky moths out of the cabin, but would stay again!

The wifi was not usable, intermittent signal. When asked about wifi, staff responded that they couldn't get anyone to come out to fix the wifi. Yet my rate was not reduced even though advertised amenities were not available.

Cozy KOA, with very accommodating host. Even though the laundry room was closed at 5:00, she allowed us to do our laundry. First day we were here the winds were gusty and strong rain. We reserved a tent site for three days but decided to take one of their available cabins since we were afraid the tent would blow away. Very pleased with the cabins and they were quite reasonable. Bathrooms are immaculate with necessary cautions made during Covid. Would stay here again whether in our RV, tent or a cabin.
