We stayed one night on our journey West. The hookups were all functional, so that was the plus. However, the grounds were filthy and sites super close. We had to remove a dead bird from our site and it was littered with cigarette butts. A day later, we stayed at another KOA Journey in Montana for the same price and that facility was immaculate.

Staff were extremely professional, helpful & friendly. I had a pull through with full hookups and sites had reasonable privacy. Great area to explore several parks & places of interest to the west, east & south.

Great small KOA with very clean restrooms. Lots of large trees to sit under to watch the birds.

WiFi did of work. Left message to restart router early. - before opening. They did not do it. Check In was easy. Bathrooms were clean. Did not restart router until many people complained.

It has a lot of potential, but it needs upkeep. Also, the used goods section in the store is tacky, and the teens working there didn't have the greatest attitudes. It's a decent place to stay, but it could be upgraded a lot.

Hardin is a good journey site. A bit crowded for any long term stays.

We got the last site available and were glad for it. The hosts escorted us to our site and made sure we could get hooked up easily. We were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable rate as KOA are usually higher prices. The campground was clean and neat. Overall we had a pleasant stay, except for the sudden thunderstorm.

It was OK had to limit water usage but I understand that. They have to haul the water in. Employees were friendly.

Easy check in. Host took me to site. Quiet. Pool, playground, and basketball for kids. Beautiful sunsets. Easy exit from park.

The staff was very friendly. However was disappointed that we could not use are washer to wash clothes but understand why. Also due to the drought there really was no grass. It was okay for a stop over but would not want to stay there longer.

Wasn't happy with the assigned spot. Very open and limited tree coverage. Garbage dumpster overflowing. Very dusty curb appeal. Good for only a one day stop.

Staff was excellent, helpful and warming. A down to earth atmosphere. I guess I was slightly disappointed in the landscaping, but it a great place to utilize for an overnight stay enroute to your destination.

The campground needs to be updated. Kathy was very pleasant & very helpful with all of the congestion of campers when we were checking in..

Too many briars in the sites. My dogs got them in their paws and then I got them in my hands trying to remove them. Sites too close. When I was here previously, I had a nicer site. I requested the same site, but didn’t get it. People next to me had 2 dogs who barked a lot and one was a pit bull puppy. I have a 5 lb Yorkie so didn’t even feel safe letting it walk outside my rig.

This KOA was good for an overnight stop. Playground equipment is very old. Pool was nice on a very hot day. Our pull through spots was pretty tight for a large 5th wheel (40 ft). Very nice staff.

Owner was supposed to stop by with information about a repair service. Never showed up. Grounds need a lot of attention. The site is for sale and owner is ambivalent a about everything.

Had a Buddy site shared with a very nice young family from Washington state for one night. Other nights no one was in the site. Campground was in sight of I-90 but we couldn’t hear the noise. Very nice little town nearby where we needed a hardware store and groceries. Visited Little Big Horn battlefield 15 miles away...very sobering. Good campground overall.

Very old, basic KOA. Residential hot tub was still covered. They haul in water, so you're asked to limit water use. Level sites. Easy in and out. Campground has a for sale sign.

Very convenient for visiting Little Bighorn Battlefield. Nice pool and friendly staff. Noise from nearby farm machinery was constant but more like "white noise" and not terribly annoying. Some spots offer little shade but very comfortable nonetheless.

Cozy KOA, with very accommodating host. Even though the laundry room was closed at 5:00, she allowed us to do our laundry. First day we were here the winds were gusty and strong rain. We reserved a tent site for three days but decided to take one of their available cabins since we were afraid the tent would blow away. Very pleased with the cabins and they were quite reasonable. Bathrooms are immaculate with necessary cautions made during Covid. Would stay here again whether in our RV, tent or a cabin.
