Variety of activities. Very friendly staff. Had an issue with the person helping me to back in but next day he came and apologized for the confusion. I appreciate that

This was our 2nd time there. The only complaint we have is that the spots are very tight getting in and out of could have better spacing. The place soldout so coming in on a Saturday it was difficult to get into the site there was several vehicles parked in from of their site which took up alot of room. Also very low tree branches made it very difficult we scratched our truck on a stump.

Not really set up for campers. Its a big operation; and i get it. I do not want to disclose any more negative impressions. IF you camp, as in a tent ( like me) dont bother stopping here.

This is a great spot to stay to visit Harpers Ferry National Historic Park and Antietam National Battlefield. Its a nice campground and we had a pleasant stay once the campers with the barking dog left!!! The dog was left unattended at a site and barked nonstop. We could find no security person around to report it!

Main bathhouse and showers were never cleaned at all and we were there for 6 nights.Camp site that we had was extremely difficult to get leveled up on. But once we got set up it was quiet and relaxing. Will consider them as a second or third option.

Nice park - second visit

I was a little disappointed with the campground. The campsites are small, no one showed me to my site. They charge me 2 dollars a night for my dog when I was in an RV site. They sure weren't going around and cleaning up after the dogs. Ashes from campfires were just dumped in the campsites. It will work for you if you are looking for a base camp to explore the area.

So we truly love the campsites but they are not level. We were there during the week and no Grapes and Grinds during thevweek. Modified store hours so you had to make sure you got there before 6pm. Overall happy and will come again.

Great location for the Civil War history buff. Sites are very tight. Most expensive sites have a great view of the dump station and trash dumpster.

Nice place, but arrived on Sunday and left on Friday and during that time the showers and bathrooms were never cleaned. Same hair clumps and filled waste baskets no emptied. Owners need to check on these things, especially during these difficult times.

Cable TV is horrible. Was told it was my cable not the campgrounds. Talked to various other campers and they could not get channels as well. Best policy in my opinion is honesty just let us know you are having cable issues and that would be fine. But to tell me its my fault is unacceptable.

It had what we needed a place to lay our heads. Kept us dry in the rain. The Bath house could have been closer to our site. Next time we will take this into consideration when booking.

Very clean — staff are attentive to all our needs

The construction area was not properly maintained. Need to have that project completed before the October camping season begins.

Stayed in a cabin for the first time. Cabin was clean and very comfortable. Will absolutely be doing it again. After many years of camping with RV, at our age this is the way to go. Employees very helpful. Love Harpers Ferry KOA.

Enjoyed the campground, employees very helpful

Ok, cable tv didn't work. Dog park badly needed cleaned up. No one anwers the phone when called. Not really what I have learned to expect at KOA.

Just average. Staff was not very friendly or helpful. It didn’t seem very well cared for, but it was okay for one night.

Loved the dog swim idea! I do wish the pool would stay open past season if weather permits.
Sep 15, 2021
The site was too tight and too small - couldn’t have a fire because the fire pit was too close to our RV, was difficult getting into the assigned site, and we were worried that other travelers with large 5th wheels would not be able to make that corner without hitting us or our car. Also, cable went out on Monday nite which was opening nite for the Ravens, and staff on duty would not address

nice 4 day stay

The paperwork was in the box at the registration office. When booked, I specified a 30' trailer, the lot we were assigned would barely accomodate the truck and the trailer, and had to angle both to fit on the site so I wouldn't have to disconnect and not be in the road. If you don't pay the extra $20 to pick the site you want, you get the dregs. The stay itself was good, great neighbors.

We had one of the deluxe patio sites during out stay. It was fantastic. The pool was very nice and well kept. We loved the activities occurring during our stay as well. My only concern as we walked thru the campground was how tight the sites are to get into. We have a 36ft bumper pull and there are not many sites I would feel confident getting into. Hopefully we can pick our site next time too.
Sep 14, 2021
The sites are tight, not well maintained and only a few are big rig compatiable.
Sep 14, 2021
Great location but the sites are so hard to get in and out of.

We are new campers. Our visit was awesome to Harpers Ferry/Civil War Battlefields KOA. We were not pleased with our very small site, but definitely will be back and request a different location. The grounds are beautiful and staff very friendly. Thank you

I’m happy with services. We had a larger cabin. Very unhappy with site and closeness of cabins. It was supposed to be for 6, and it was very small and the entire site was on a washed out hill. Picnic table needed to be propped 6” on one side. Only room for 3 chairs around pit and very close to a drop in woods and sat crooked. Site should be closed and fixed. Smaller cabins had much better site

RV section VERY tight. Several 40+ ft Class A's were there but certain sites require more patience. Watched 2 RV mishaps,1: large Class A hitting a utility pole 2: a TT pulling into a site hit a parked Jeep. We backed out of our pull-thru site, slow, careful to get out. Camps are tight, few feet b/w. Lots of fees, no more free pancakes but overall not that bad. Patio space if we ever come back

Not a relaxing weekend at all. Way too tight for the size campers that in those sites. We were in site 28 which shouldn't be a site at all since many campers couldnt make the turn.Several times we had to pull in our slide so ppl could get by. Someone ran into a picnic table/another hit another vehicle trying to get into their sites.I mentioned it to someone at Store. They didn't seem to concerned.

We stay here often, nice campground Close to harpers ferry and charles town. A bit tight for large rv's but still doable. We wanted to extend our stay but the girl working sep 11th at 8 pm couldnt be bothered with us. I called first thing in the morning, left a message and got a return call about 10:30 that our site was indeed available but by that time we were already gone. Very disappointed.

Staff friendly. Easy check in and good hook ups. Very convenient to Harper's Ferry Military Park. However, sites wa-a-a-y too close together and roads not easy for large RV to maneuver.

The deluxe cabin had more amenities than we expected. We enjoyed all of the activities, especiallt the doggie swim. We look forwaed to coming back.

Nice and clean campground with very friendly staff.

Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful weekend. Was within walking distance (little bit of a hike) to get bus to go into Harpers Ferry if you have a National park pass or you can purchase one. Harpers Ferry was beautiful but very steep hills to walk up to the top, but worth it. Campground was nice and did have activities which were nice. We all had a great time!
Sep 13, 2021
The camp sites 158 and 159 are too small. No room to set up . Partly to do with the people parked incorrectly on 157

Great campground with lots of space to have fun and relax with friends and family. Cabins are perfect for a long weekend getaway.

The Koa is excellent. We rented a deluxe cabin and we dealt with an ant issue inside for our 2 days. The WiFi is also nonexistent.
Sep 13, 2021
We had a good time. Sites are a bit close together!

Had a lovely unique girls weekend in one of the deluxe cabins. We spent the day rafting, hiking and exploring the national park and were so happy to come back to a comfy bed, shower and air conditioner and laugh around a campfire! There was a ton of activities for families, and the sites were very tight, our neighbors in the cabins were about 12ft feet from us.

The views and history was very enjoyable. Only disappointment I had was people allowing their dogs to be off leash and run freely . It was an almost issue with my dog who had a leash.

Tented here for just over a week. I enjoyed every part of my stay. Facilities had everything I needed and the check-in/store staff was very friendly and helpful. Fyi, the tent pads are nice but will fit just your tent. If you have say an awning or an additional tent, the sites can be hit or miss to accommodate that. I got lucky and fit all my gear on my site. Would definitely come back.
