Mud. Wet. Why a resort fee. Narrow sites. Small roads. Terrible planning. No room for car on site. Cable did not work 1st day 2nd day cable had 5 channels. 3rd it was working. Most washing machines did not work. Lost $2.00 in dryer- not working. Will never return! KOA member# 25847K

Many beautiful, spacious sites were available, but we were placed in a tight, muddy (straw on top of grass) spot. I guess we had to know to ask for the spacious sites (pull-through grass). The laundry was terrible (bad smell, rusted walls and machines, dirty floors). No sign prohibiting or designating machines for dog beds. On a happier note, the location was excellent to historic Harper's Ferry.

I booked a stay for 30' 5th wheel. The site I was given would just fit the 5th wheel but I would have had to unhook my truck and find a spot to park it since it would not fit on the site....disappointing. I was able to upgrade to a longer site. I stay frequently at KOAs and have never had this problem before. I would not stay at this KOA again nor recommend it to anyone.

We love the history and all the available information on the location, but your shower was cold and there were dirty diapers in all the restrooms and shower locations. Yucky.

We were there in early April, so not much was happening at the campground. But it seemed to offer a lot of things to do!

Went for Spring Break. Bathrooms were not cleaned the entitle five nights stayed. Disappointing kid activities were not open not even the game room and indoor basketball. Coffee and wine shop not open or Cafe. Our site wasn’t cleaned before arriving. Had to ask for sewage drain area to be cleaned. Construction equipment started running before 8:00am several mornings and loaded big bulldozer.

This is our 4th time staying in Harpers Ferry KOA and we will keep coming back! It is Easy to register, very clean, a lot of great spots for all campers and a GREAT location!!!

Great campground. Very nice staff, huge camp store, and offer a lot of activities. Lots are pretty nice. We enjoyed our first trip here and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed one night to "de-winterize" the rig. Nice campground -very friendly staff. Tight spaces so not a ton of outdoor living room but still very nice and close to lots of attractions.

Cable did not work at our site for the first day. Maintenance was contacted but we never saw him, I plugged into a vacant site and the cable worked but it was still not a great picture. The heavy equipment started running an hour before quiet hours were over.

It wasn’t bad just nothing was open our cable didn’t work and there was trash and poop in our spot, I understand it snowed the one day but it still could have been cleaned up and maybe they could have cleared the site of any ice

We use this as a stop on the way cross country, so we don't use many of the facilities, but what we need they have and that's OK by us.

I wish there were a few sites catered more towards teardrop and very small campers. Something a mix of an RV site and a tent site.

Everyone was helpful and nice but the washers and dryers did not work very well. This area could stand to be a little cleaner.

The campgrounds looked very well maintained. Most amenities were not open as it was early in the season. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star review was the waste connections are all elevated above the trailer not permitting easy drainage of black and gray water tanks and the collars did not have a threaded connection requiring objects to be stacked on the connection for security.

Enjoyed our stay but had two issues… our septic was “full” and we were unable to use it and we had to pull ahead to an empty site to dump our tanks. Also, the area for our fire ring was so small we couldn’t fit four adults around it comfortably which was disappointing. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and the dog park… love the location - we will be back but not at site 32!

Great KOA. Only drawback was that RV sites were very close together and had no shade. The store was great! The little girl at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. It looked as though they were making improvements to the grounds so I’m excited to see those in the future.

Sites for 5th wheels are terrible barley fit barley can make turns sites small outdated. Whole campground outdated. Needs major updates

Your public restrooms needed cleaning and there was no paper towels or toilet paper! The sink and floors need cleaning as well. Trash throughout the camp ground area.

We paid for a premium site. The site we had was extremely hard to get into. Because of the condition of the site, we couldn't get our RV leveled. Pulling out, the end of the site had a fairly big ditch that we just missed bottoming out the RV. When we talked to the girls at the office, they had an attitude of "oh well, that's the site you have". The change machine in the laundry didn't work.

We love it there, however the laundry room should be cleaner. We visited in2020 and this year. Both times the laundry room was dirty. Great location!

Just overnight but found campground to be clean & beautiful. Lots of things to do there; family oriented. Excellent camp store. Would enjoy a longer stay there!

Only downside was ongoing construction (heavy equipment, backup alarms) on Friday when we arrived, plus chainsaws running on Saturday morning. I get that there are improvements being made, but it was noisy.

We were very disappointed to arrive and find out that we were subjected to undisclosed construction noise from our arrival Thursday 03/17-03/20. It was not revealed ahead of time nor on check in that this would be occurring right next to the area that we were staying in. They started at 0730 and went until 1630…ALL DAY LONG.

FIX THE CABLE!!! Stayed in a "Premium" spot, yeah, no it isn't. Guess it was premium because it offered 50amp, well, couldn't use 50 because needed an ext because of the position of the electric box (was only able to drop from 50 to my 30 cord). Coming back, but was not real happy with a few things. If not for the Manager giving a discount, probably would not.

Efficient office, kids play facilities where great. Our pull through site was full of puddles after some rain - impossible to avoid a puddle right in front of our door. Our neighbors sewage access point was right next to our picnic table, not very pleasant! Site too small to move much.

We love this campground and are regulars, but the construction during this latest trip dampened our experience. We were woken up early (well before quiet hours ended) by loud equipment and then had to listen to it all day Fri and Sat. If we'd known in advance we would not have come. We respect that the work needs to be done but feel we should have been told since camping is meant to be outdoors.

The views and history was very enjoyable. Only disappointment I had was people allowing their dogs to be off leash and run freely . It was an almost issue with my dog who had a leash.

Tented here for just over a week. I enjoyed every part of my stay. Facilities had everything I needed and the check-in/store staff was very friendly and helpful. Fyi, the tent pads are nice but will fit just your tent. If you have say an awning or an additional tent, the sites can be hit or miss to accommodate that. I got lucky and fit all my gear on my site. Would definitely come back.
