The campground is really close to downtown and made seeing the battlefields really easy. The campground amenities were really nice and offered a lot of activities as well as inexpensive and good pancake breakfast. Sites were tight but clean. The first one did not work for our setup and the staff was accommodating and changed us to another site. Although sites were narrow, our experience was good.

We arrived in our 35’ camper on a Monday and checked out on a Thursday. The campsites for 50 amp service were very tiny, gravel pull through with a tiny strip of grass. Thank goodness we never had neighbors directly in front of us or we may not have been able to put our awning out!! Overall, it was quiet however we heard that weekends were packed.We enjoyed the pool,coffee shop & river rafting.

It was one of the nicest campgrounds we’ve been to. The area is steeped in history. Truly a gem!

Sad to see upkeep not up to par for a KOA the pool area had weeds and grass around the tables and fence Faucet loose in cabin…hmm Great campground Just more attention to the important things

Overall we liked it here, pool, mini golf, camp store were all nice. But the lack of shade and grass at our site was very disappointing. Our site was mostly dirt in place of grass (thankful we didn’t have much rain) and the way the sun hit we got no shade even with our awning out. If I had known this we wouldn’t have paid for a larger site bc it seemed like smaller sites had more shade.

Some of the sites are extremely unlevel and tight, the bath house was a mess(mens room) on the Sunday evening that we arrived, 2 of the 3 toilets overflowed and the toilet that was ok had no toilet paper. Also, staff does not enforce dog leash rules. We saw people walking around with unleashed dogs and an unleashed white shepherd, that was allowed to roam tried to approach our leashed dog.

Three 11 year-olds liked the pool, bouncy pillows, and rental bikes, and breakfast. Store had anything you'd need. Our site by the trench was shady, very roomy, & quiet (mostly). Saturday night was very loud (well past the 10pm quite hours) with teenagers roaming while playing loud music. Teens cut through our site to get from the cabins to the bathhouse. Wish there were more activities on Sunday

The site I had requested was not level enough for me to get my 31 foot RV levelers down. I asked to be moved to another site which was very very narrow. Most of the sites were a nice size but there are some that are very tight.

It was a very nice KOA, clean bathrooms and very friendly staff. The only annoying this was the coffee/wine store seemed to always be closed as did the cafe.

Horrible experience. The site they gave us was a small back-in crammed next to a pile of dirt and rocks. Sites are way too narrow. Electric boxes are bend. Picnic tables look full of splinters and are warped. No care has been taken to replenish gravel and our level was way out of whack. Cable channels were terrible: no PBS for example. Terrible KOA.

The attendants were very courteous, friendly and kind! The bathrooms & showers were clean. We rented a family bike, played Putt, putt golf, and relax!

Had a great time. The only thing I could recommend is a life guard. Some juveniles were throwing chairs in the pool and almost struck children. Father was very upset and a fight almost broke out.

had a great time, but the cost of the cabins makes it a very expensive weekend and more expensive than a hotel. Glad you include linens and towels for the cabins now.

Called to make reservation for 3 sites together, did not receive 2 nites get 1 and I had requested to add. Called back got the free nites adjusted but was charged $20 per site vik...I did not request specific sites. Upon arrival the sites were horrible but the office found more suitable sites.There was no shade cover on the bounce mat and pancakes were served in a dark gym and Sun sewers backed up

The Staff was friendly, lots to do there. Loved the pancakes. The only thing the spaces are very tight. We had a great time,

Fantastic. Everyone was kind and facility was clean. The only complaint I have is that the coffee shop wasn't open most of the week and no one in the camp store could tell us why or when it would open again.

We really enjoyed our stay however there wasn't issue at the pool where some teenage boys were throwing furniture into the pool and the adults had to take care of the issue where it would probably be in the best interest of everyone if there was a monitor at the pool for those reasons from the campground

Very nice place. However only complaint, sites up on the hill need to be adjusted way to close to each other and the turns barely fit smaller units. When I open my awning and it almost touches my neighbor we r to close.

The sites were very tight beside each other all around, very hard to get into and out of site due to closeness of ones in front and behind. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR BIG RIGS OR LONG TRAILERS..Roads and turns tight. Site was dirty when got there, dog poop all over grass at site. Bath house/restrooms never cleaned while there for 2 days. Things are run down, not maintained. Some play areas were unsafe.

The sites were so uneven and spaced out so differently. Our spot has the other person next door poop tank hose right next to our front door and picnic table. This was disgusting and not one of your employees thought the same. They stated everyone books there and has no problem. The security at night were extremely rude to our kids. The bathrooms/showers were disgusting &not cleaned all weekend.

We were only at the campground for two nights, but will definitely be back. The staff were all very friendly and there were lots of activities for the kids.

My site was great and had no issues. Every KOA employee that I talked to was very nice and helpful. The only problem that I saw was with the men’s bathroom which had a stuffed up toilet which is more of a rude guest issue then staff problem. It wasn’t obvious on who or where to call to report the problem after hours.

Wonderful Location, Greeted by a wonderful friendly Happy woman at the Front Gate, Check In Process was easy. Directions to my Site was explained in detail which made locating simple. Free bundle of Firewood was an excellent touch that all campgrounds should do. Pool was clean, Giant checkers was fun. Putt Putt course needs a few repairs for score keeping and was fun for all!!! Thanks You!

We really like Harper's Ferry KOA. We were originally given a site that was too small for our camper, but the staff was kind and accommodating when we asked for a different site. The campground is clean and there are many things to do. Very dog ftiendly.

Only two things kept it from being perfect…. Bathrooms and showers should be cleaned more than just once a day. They were absolutely disgusting by the afternoon. The mini golf should have a leaf blower used on it once maybe twice a day. The course was covered with stones and stuff from the trees. Otherwise this one a great stay

We had an amazing experience staying here. Courteous staff, decent bathroom facilities, mini golf and bounce were a huge hit with the kids. We will be back :-)

The views and history was very enjoyable. Only disappointment I had was people allowing their dogs to be off leash and run freely . It was an almost issue with my dog who had a leash.

Tented here for just over a week. I enjoyed every part of my stay. Facilities had everything I needed and the check-in/store staff was very friendly and helpful. Fyi, the tent pads are nice but will fit just your tent. If you have say an awning or an additional tent, the sites can be hit or miss to accommodate that. I got lucky and fit all my gear on my site. Would definitely come back.
