Only downside was ongoing construction (heavy equipment, backup alarms) on Friday when we arrived, plus chainsaws running on Saturday morning. I get that there are improvements being made, but it was noisy.

We were very disappointed to arrive and find out that we were subjected to undisclosed construction noise from our arrival Thursday 03/17-03/20. It was not revealed ahead of time nor on check in that this would be occurring right next to the area that we were staying in. They started at 0730 and went until 1630…ALL DAY LONG.

FIX THE CABLE!!! Stayed in a "Premium" spot, yeah, no it isn't. Guess it was premium because it offered 50amp, well, couldn't use 50 because needed an ext because of the position of the electric box (was only able to drop from 50 to my 30 cord). Coming back, but was not real happy with a few things. If not for the Manager giving a discount, probably would not.

Efficient office, kids play facilities where great. Our pull through site was full of puddles after some rain - impossible to avoid a puddle right in front of our door. Our neighbors sewage access point was right next to our picnic table, not very pleasant! Site too small to move much.

We love this campground and are regulars, but the construction during this latest trip dampened our experience. We were woken up early (well before quiet hours ended) by loud equipment and then had to listen to it all day Fri and Sat. If we'd known in advance we would not have come. We respect that the work needs to be done but feel we should have been told since camping is meant to be outdoors.

Other than I wish we could have played mini golf (kinda hard to do that during a snowstorm) I loved it! My wife and I love the family friendly env and the ease of use! Clean and friendly. We wanted to start enjoying long weekend getaways with our oldest dog Roxy who is having health issues but loves to travel. She enjoyed the firepit, being snowed in the cabin and walking around.

The location was nice but the cabins need upgrades. Our cabin front door was warped and the bottom had a big gap. We got a mouse in our cabin Friday night. The remainder of our stay we had to stuff paper towels in the gap. There were many other gaps in the cabin as well.

We liked the cabin and enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the wireless connection was useless. The biggest issue is that it cost WAY too much for what it was (a couple beds and a half kitchen), particularly since it was the offseason and we didn't have access to most of the amenities that KOA offers. At half that rate, we'd be back in a heartbeat.

We stayed one night after purchasing our new 2022 RV Van so the place was empty and quiet as itwas a bitoffseason, yet the service was great! We've stayed here many times before and always have a good time.

Due to change in plans because of weather the hosts were very accommodating making changes to our stay. The staff at check-in was very friendly and helpful.

I don’t think the bathrooms had been cleaned at all during our stay. Also, there was a political flag flying on a flagpole. I don’t know if it belonged to a camper or the KOA but I found it very inappropriate and frankly, I was personally offended.

The campground was extremely loud and the bathrooms were beyond dirty. Looked like they had not been cleaned in days. Also the cabin we stayed in had spider webs all on the walls and in the ceiling. I've stayed at many KOA none have been like this and I will not return to this campground.

There was no cable tv at our site. We called left message and no one called us back or came to our site lack of customer service there. Otherwise it was fine.

Had to upgrade from KAMPING Kabin to modern cabin (extra $55) because restrooms near KAMPING Kabin closed due to freezing problem (55 degrees at night?) resulting in long uphill, unlit walk to other restrooms. Infestation of ants in bathroom. Loud music and partying even after 11 pm (quiet hours supposedly from 10pm, but no enforcement). Overall, not impressed.

I never got the wifi to work. I couldn’t get it to connect to any devices and at random times when it did connect the wifi wouldn’t work. The spot we got put in seemed really small for the size of our rig. Had the park been full I’m not sure we would have been able to get in or out of that spot. Bathrooms weren’t that clean looking. They charged me $2 for each dog upon check even when it w

Our second stay here and we really love the campground. My only complaint is that our pull through site was too small and we had yo inhook our tow vehicle in the dark when we arrived. Other than that, great campground and great location. We'll be back!

We enjoyed the stay and would stay again. The sites seemed very close together. The only negative I have with the park itself is more pet owners than the campground. If you own pets and are too lazy to pick up after them, then don't take them with you. We had to pick up multiple piles of dog waste around our site. There were pet stations with free bags throughout the campground and a K9 play area.

Was great until they told us they had breed restrictions after we had already stayed a night, would’ve been 4-5 stars. They need to get a new insurance company that doesn’t discriminate based on breed, what nonsense!

Enjoyed a quiet, relaxing stay over a long weekend in a cabin. The access to trails and the national park is very convenient. Beautiful campground and area!

Frozen tundra - the assigned spot was not cleared of snow. I hadn’t to use 4-wheel drive to access the spot. No water or septic - yet I was still charged for a full hook-up fee. This is nice campground in the warmer weather, but given the stark conditions, they shouldn’t open in the winter. Save yourself some heartache and stay in a motel if you are passing thru.

Horrible bathrooms and showers, filthy. We had 3-night stay. After the first night I asked when they will clean the showers/bathrooms, I was assured they would be cleaning it that day, that never happened. Next year we will de-winterize so we can use our own bathroom facilities. Cant beat the location if you want to be close to Harpers Ferry, WV.

We stayed there in January and were surprised how many people braved the cold weather. The campgrounds are nice. The store has supplies, firewood and clothing. We froze our water pipe the first night and the maintenance guy helped us quickly. The dog area is a nice size so the pups could run free. It is close to the town of Harper's Ferry and we took a Lyft.

The views and history was very enjoyable. Only disappointment I had was people allowing their dogs to be off leash and run freely . It was an almost issue with my dog who had a leash.

Tented here for just over a week. I enjoyed every part of my stay. Facilities had everything I needed and the check-in/store staff was very friendly and helpful. Fyi, the tent pads are nice but will fit just your tent. If you have say an awning or an additional tent, the sites can be hit or miss to accommodate that. I got lucky and fit all my gear on my site. Would definitely come back.
