Way overpriced for what we got. Took our reservation for a rustic cabin and never told us our bathouse was closed for the season. Check in was cold, not rude just uncaring. For the price, one would expect fridge or tv or microwave...nothing here! The 3 stars were because cabin was fairly clean and they had turned the heat on. Park was clean and the area was beautiful. Will probably stay elsewhere.

We only had a 2 day stay while on the road to Florida and it was the off season but everything was well kept considering the weather and that everything was closed up. Very helpful lady in the office/store. We had to replace our toilet and she went above and beyond to help us find another.

We stay here about 2 rimes a year. this stay was very nice. we will be back in the spring.

The only reason this is not higher is we were assigned spot 47. It was very muddy and most of the empty spaces around us were not. This site needs some work.

Very uncomfortable bed- hole in the floor- ants on the table in the morning. AC/Heater made a bad noise- the AC unit sucked up the neighbors behind us fire smoke and we got sore throat from that. Cabin was way to small for felt like we were confined to the bed the whole time

Some amenities closed. Instructions to disconnect water at night but water hook ups not insulated. They were at KOA Natural Bridge.

We were there for 2 nights, the place and staff was great, site was great. Campers with dogs need to pick up their dogs mess.

The game room was a mess with no lights and very dirty. The gym was not readily available as stated and we had to get maintenance to unlock it and turn on the lights. We were told to take a picture of the cable channels but did not get a cable signal at our campsite.

We have a 43ft. Coach hauling a car on trailer which is around 70ft. Total length. There is not enough turning radius to enter and exit the site and road ways.

Nice campground and very convenient to the Park. Level pull-through site. Most of the facilities were closed for the season, which is understandable for WV in December, but the store was open and very nice. Good strong wifi.

Very nice campground. Normally, we just do an overnight, but maybe someday we will be able to stay a longer period of time!!

The deluxe cabins had a govenor on the heater in freezing weather. It would not get warmer than 69 degrees. We froze and paid good money! The staff was horribly rude and downright disrespectful! I got in late Thursday night and was out at lunch on Friday when I received a call from the office saying if I didn't get up there by closing they were changing the locks on my cabin. KOA ��� staff

The cabin was clean and the bathroom appreciated. I loved the proximity to all the trails. Unfortunately the availability (we did camp with a small dog) was in a cabin across from the playground; not good for the peace and quiet I was hoping for. I do plan to stay again, I'll just make sure it's in a cabin (bathroom or not) far from the playground :-)

My only complaint would be how far the bathroom was since the closer one was closed for the winter. And I totally do not agree with the breed restrictions in place. The breeds are not dangerous, it's the owners. You are much more likely to get bit by a chihuahua than a pittie! Please rethink this policy!

We enjoyed our weekend in Harpers Ferry. Convenient location near the National Park. Level site, easy to get into, though a bit close to the neighbors. Our only real complaint is the lack of hot water in the showers and bathhouse.

I gave it two stars because of location. We had to request a 2nd site, 1st was too small for our RV: end spot on a curve that would have put it in danger of being hit by passing RVs. Laundry bathroom not cleaned during the weekend, no TP, and trash overflowing on arrival. Trash all over campground and sites not cleaned. Mini golf was in disrepair. Hard campground to navigate with big rig.

Interior roads are quite narrow especially for big rigs. We had to cut through an unoccupied site. Some sites are on steep hills so leveling a long trailer would be very difficult. Restroom near laundry was completely out of toilet paper. More concerning was the toilet bowl itself which had chunks all over the inside. Either it had not been cleaned or the flushing did not provide sufficient water.

The campground overall was great. I was very disappointed in the lack of customer service we received. We were not informed that the rustic cabin we had reserved had no available water in the immediate area and that the nearby bathroom/shower facility was also closed. I would have requested an upgrade or made other arrangements to stay in the area. We were comped for one of our two nights stay.

Good proximity to Harpers ferry. Bathrooms/showers not cleaned once during 5 night stay. Game room was a mess, indoor basketball court dirty. Facilities not maintained. However there were always 2-3 people making sure the gift shop looked nice. Didn’t get the nature feel. Campground is a parking lot during winter months. Wooded areas closed during winter. Stay at a state park.

We had a great time however the internet was terrible. We would get on and get kicked off 5 minutes later. I wish the campground would upgrade or even have an option to purchase better WIFI so I could have worked some. The staff was extremely nice and helpful when the cable went out as well! Will be returning soon!

Lovely place, rustic, lots to see within walking distance and free trolley. WIFI is terrible at site 044, we could get on early in the morning. Won't stay in those sites again, too tight and too hard to maneuver a big rig around those corners.

We decided to tent camp during an of season, Jonathon opened up a site to accommodate us. When it proved to be cooler than expected, the girl at the office opened up a deluxe cabin for us. The willingness of the staff to accommodate us was appreciated beyond belief.

We went in off-season right after Thanksgiving. We paid regular price for rustic cabin, but unfortunately amenities were not kept up. Store and cabin were fine and as expected. Bathroom nearby was closed and other bathrooms were far and not tended too. Arcade was gross. We still had a good time, but beware if you care about those other things don't go in off-season.

We stayed Thanksgiving weekend 2021. This was our first trip to Harpers Ferry and we can't wait to come back to this KOA in warmer weather! We stayed in a rustic cabin (no bathroom). Small heater for the cabin did not really warm it up quite enough to 'not' freeze our tails off, but it was ok. The KOA itself was really nice. Cant wait to try in the summer!

The views and history was very enjoyable. Only disappointment I had was people allowing their dogs to be off leash and run freely . It was an almost issue with my dog who had a leash.

Tented here for just over a week. I enjoyed every part of my stay. Facilities had everything I needed and the check-in/store staff was very friendly and helpful. Fyi, the tent pads are nice but will fit just your tent. If you have say an awning or an additional tent, the sites can be hit or miss to accommodate that. I got lucky and fit all my gear on my site. Would definitely come back.
