site 114, right next to the store & the sidewalk leading to it. There was constant traffic & noise.. We could also here the noise of the highway as well as all of the RV's pulling in & out of the parking lot (which was our view along with the side of the store). During the week, the foot traffic died down, but had to endure construction noise. Like camping in the middle of a city, not woods.

We come to Harpers Ferry every year and love it. It’s a great family campground and we always enjoy our stay. Looking forward to next year already!

We LOVE Harpers Ferry KOA! Sites were roomy and easy access, not too crowded, clean bathrooms, nice country store, wine tasting! Dollar Pancakes! We re-booked for next year already. :)

I am NOT one to complain but I have been at this KOA 3-4 times now and was the worst of the trips. The site was very unlevel so I asked for an adjacent one and they made the change, that was great! Some of the sites are tight/electric box/tree right in the middle. Cafe was VERY dirty. Tables not cleaned for pancake breakfast Sat or Sun and trash all over the floor. Food was good however.

Haven't been to this KOA in a long time. Was shocked how over crowded this weekend was. I supposed over the years I haven't been more campsites were added. Other than the over crowding, it was a nice weekend.

The girl that checked us in directed down the wrong street to park our rig. It would've made us park from our blind side. We had to pull around to a different street for another angle. Unfortunately there were others with the same problem, so there was a traffic jam. She also mislead us that there were FREE pancakes on the weekend, only $1 so no big deal. We enjoy the beauty of this KOA.

Not happy on how many campers you can cram into a campground. The guy next to us hit a tree trying to get in. We wanted to head home early but needed to wait to people left in order to get our camper out, which was close to 11:00. No room to park your tow vehicle unless you were half way in the road.

Great campground--one of best we've visited in 20 years of RVing. Lots for kids to do, beautiful views, great location, very well run. We'll be back!

The site we had was next to impossible to pull into. The lanes were too tight and we got ourselves into a jam because roads weren't marked as dead end. We had to back out and ruined the bumper of our camper as we had to back down over a hill because there was no other way to get out without damaging others cars or campers. The front desk folks were not helpful.

We spent our first hour backing up our large event due to the incompetence of the front desk staff. They were instructing people to go the wrong way (not just us). This caused a major backup and impossible to get to our spots. They also placed large rocks at the corners of the lord which made it hard to maneuver around.

We arrived late evening to discover a packed campsite and stuck vehicles. It took us an hour and a half just to GET to our campsite after we checked in. The spaces are very narrow, the pull through spots are inadequate and everyone is very squashed in together. No privacy. Lots of heavy drinking (and while driving golf carts) and marijuana usage. The children enjoyed the arcade and activities.

Such a beautiful campground. All the employees were helpful and friendly. Only downside was very little parking at the site for the tow vehicle.

A beautiful location in the woods for trailers and smaller motor homes. Larger motor homes are accommodated in parking lot setting. Centrally located, just a few miles from historic Harpers Ferry national park, 30 minutes 30 from the Antietam battlefield, and 15 minutes from the Charles Town casino. The bathrooms were clean and heated.

Great stay! Slight hiccup at the beginning where I was given a back in spot the was narrower than my trailer, but the customer service agent fixed immediately and got us the site we needed! Great site and would recommend to anyone!

We were only there one night but the amenities look to be very inviting. I'm sure a family could really enjoy a week long (or longer) vacation at this campground.

Would be nice to have a recycling bin there.And if one is staying at the campground & asks to be notified if there's a cancellation for the site one is currently residing in, the answer shouldn't be that they don't have enough staff to do that.We were staying at another campground chain right before that is 2 times the size and they easily accommodated that request w/ 2 staff. customer service!

Empty camp ground, but I was assigned a site next to restrooms that was nowhere’s level. Felt unwelcome with so many empty level sites around.

Site was very unlevel. Reception clerk seemed indifferent to my presence. I was surprised to see the dog breed bans. Pit bulls are known to be one of the sweetest and most loyal dog breeds. (No, I don't have one.) Restrooms were clean. Location was great.

Campground is great, we’ve camped here many times neighbors behind us not so much. Very loud music (they had a large karaoke type speaker) and barking dogs all day. So loud we could not hear our music, I did mention this to an employee Suggestion, maybe have someone drive through the campground occasionally We do love to visit and we will stay again �

Camp sites very close together, I had a pullthru full hookup. I have a 40 ft MH towing. I could not get on my lot without unhooking! A lot of times thats why I want the pull thru. I dont want to unhook my truck! Im there just over night!

We enjoyed our stay. I was disappointed at the lack of enthusiasm with the Halloween events. The young ladies running the pumpkin contest were standoffish and not helpful and completely unprepared with things like water and paper towels for painting. The judges for the site decorating contest didn't even get out from their golf cart to render judgements on the sites. That is wrong!

The Halloween festivities were amazing. I can't think of a place more fun for kids. My husband and I stayed in cabin #135, and were very happy with it. We used the closest bathroom throughout our stay. It didn't appear to have been cleaned in our 4 days there. (Broken soap dispenser in ladies room, clogged urinal in mens room, overall pretty dirty). I realize it was a very busy weekend.

Cabin Kl-06 had a very strong odor. I was very upset with the floor in the bathroom. The wood floor near the shower was black, soft, and had a dip when stepping out of shower. There was a lot of spider webs along the walls. The refrigerator appeared clean, but had worn shelves. I didn't feel I got my monies worth during this 3 day stay. The campground was clean and staff was helpful.

We had a very good time, other than the rain storm that came though on Friday. The campground is always clean, people running the place very nice and the grandkids love the campground. We always stay at Harpers Ferry campground at least 1 time every year.

The views and history was very enjoyable. Only disappointment I had was people allowing their dogs to be off leash and run freely . It was an almost issue with my dog who had a leash.

Tented here for just over a week. I enjoyed every part of my stay. Facilities had everything I needed and the check-in/store staff was very friendly and helpful. Fyi, the tent pads are nice but will fit just your tent. If you have say an awning or an additional tent, the sites can be hit or miss to accommodate that. I got lucky and fit all my gear on my site. Would definitely come back.
