As our maiden voyage with camping, it couldn't have been any better!! Our site, 59, was perfectly located as well as perfectly shaded. Lots of activities and great staff made for a wonderful time.

I found the pull through site a little difficult to get into, as I had to backup a few times to get into the site. I had to make a hard left to get into the site. No shade (looking at map, very few shady sites that were 50 amp). Site was not level (sloped back to front and left to right). The pool was very nice. The breakfast was a plus. All in all we had a good time.

My only wish is that there was a small shuttle from the campground to the national park entrance. It was a very difficult walk for my wife who had knee surgery. It would be so simple to do this and make our visit so much more enjoyable.

Campsite 87 was the ugliest we’ve ever camped at. A giant hole, pile of dirt and rock, orange barrel, a trip hazard trench filled with leaves, cable wires laying on the ground, large rocks to stumble over, and poor to no wifi.

At KOA Harpers Ferry the staff was very nice and the made us feel at home. The activities were very entertaining for all. Thanks for the good memories! �

You need to spend some money on dirt and gravel and level out the sites and give the sites some dirt that you can pound a stake into, instead of ground as hard as concrete or dust piles. Seeing roots of trees on your site is frustrating.

The only negative was kids driving golf carts constantly. Plenty to do within walking distance. Might be back in fall to do it all over again.

Very clean and great staff! Have stayed here multiple times with no issues. If I had one negative to say it would only be that there is no verizon cell service and wifi was almost non existent but neither of which I consider to be their fault. Thats more of just a heads up for other rv’ers but that is very common. We don't have any cell/wifi boosters so your results may vary.

We had a very nice time in Harpers Ferry, all staff were very friendly and helpful. Our sight was ok, felt a little cramped getting in and around the campground with our travel trailer, but we managed. The campsite was clean and level. We will return next year!

Site was horribly unlevel. Dirt bikes in violation of the rules being ridden through the park. Quiet hour enforcement non existent. Poor electrical infrastructure. For the cost the basics like electrical should be maintained and upgraded regularly. Worst KOA I have stayed at.

This was our first time staying there. The park was clean. There was very little trash, the pool was clean and fun activities. My 2 concerns were the 11am check out time is early and very hard to stick to. In fact most of the people near us didn't make the check out time. Also, our site was dirty. No one check in between guests. There was trash and a steak knife left on the ground.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed ourselves. The craft room and arcade/pool table area look like they could use a deep clean. Look forward to coming back next year!

Everyone was very friendly. Site was a little challenging as several large RVs had trouble negotiating the turn located around our site. Otherwise, pleased with the campground and activities.

To many tent sites for the bathrooms you have. Overrun. Sewer connection on wrong end of site. Small site we were put on. Sites are worn out.

The campground is really close to downtown and made seeing the battlefields really easy. The campground amenities were really nice and offered a lot of activities as well as inexpensive and good pancake breakfast. Sites were tight but clean. The first one did not work for our setup and the staff was accommodating and changed us to another site. Although sites were narrow, our experience was good.

We arrived in our 35’ camper on a Monday and checked out on a Thursday. The campsites for 50 amp service were very tiny, gravel pull through with a tiny strip of grass. Thank goodness we never had neighbors directly in front of us or we may not have been able to put our awning out!! Overall, it was quiet however we heard that weekends were packed.We enjoyed the pool,coffee shop & river rafting.

Sad to see upkeep not up to par for a KOA the pool area had weeds and grass around the tables and fence Faucet loose in cabin…hmm Great campground Just more attention to the important things

Overall we liked it here, pool, mini golf, camp store were all nice. But the lack of shade and grass at our site was very disappointing. Our site was mostly dirt in place of grass (thankful we didn’t have much rain) and the way the sun hit we got no shade even with our awning out. If I had known this we wouldn’t have paid for a larger site bc it seemed like smaller sites had more shade.

Some of the sites are extremely unlevel and tight, the bath house was a mess(mens room) on the Sunday evening that we arrived, 2 of the 3 toilets overflowed and the toilet that was ok had no toilet paper. Also, staff does not enforce dog leash rules. We saw people walking around with unleashed dogs and an unleashed white shepherd, that was allowed to roam tried to approach our leashed dog.

Three 11 year-olds liked the pool, bouncy pillows, and rental bikes, and breakfast. Store had anything you'd need. Our site by the trench was shady, very roomy, & quiet (mostly). Saturday night was very loud (well past the 10pm quite hours) with teenagers roaming while playing loud music. Teens cut through our site to get from the cabins to the bathhouse. Wish there were more activities on Sunday

The site I had requested was not level enough for me to get my 31 foot RV levelers down. I asked to be moved to another site which was very very narrow. Most of the sites were a nice size but there are some that are very tight.

It was a very nice KOA, clean bathrooms and very friendly staff. The only annoying this was the coffee/wine store seemed to always be closed as did the cafe.

Horrible experience. The site they gave us was a small back-in crammed next to a pile of dirt and rocks. Sites are way too narrow. Electric boxes are bend. Picnic tables look full of splinters and are warped. No care has been taken to replenish gravel and our level was way out of whack. Cable channels were terrible: no PBS for example. Terrible KOA.

The attendants were very courteous, friendly and kind! The bathrooms & showers were clean. We rented a family bike, played Putt, putt golf, and relax!

Had a great time. The only thing I could recommend is a life guard. Some juveniles were throwing chairs in the pool and almost struck children. Father was very upset and a fight almost broke out.

Called to make reservation for 3 sites together, did not receive 2 nites get 1 and I had requested to add. Called back got the free nites adjusted but was charged $20 per site vik...I did not request specific sites. Upon arrival the sites were horrible but the office found more suitable sites.There was no shade cover on the bounce mat and pancakes were served in a dark gym and Sun sewers backed up

The views and history was very enjoyable. Only disappointment I had was people allowing their dogs to be off leash and run freely . It was an almost issue with my dog who had a leash.

Tented here for just over a week. I enjoyed every part of my stay. Facilities had everything I needed and the check-in/store staff was very friendly and helpful. Fyi, the tent pads are nice but will fit just your tent. If you have say an awning or an additional tent, the sites can be hit or miss to accommodate that. I got lucky and fit all my gear on my site. Would definitely come back.
