This KOA's canosites are way too close together and they are not great for tent camping

Sarah upon our arrival was great. Escort to our spot and the lady running the office the second day was very helpful. Park was very clean and accommodating. This was a great stay over for our small group.

Wonderful place to stay! All facilities were very clean, everyone working / living on the property was very kind and welcoming. Pool, play ground and activities were all wonderful. Way better than I ever expected! Loved it and will be back.

We stayed in mid-September and were so happy to see that their pool was still open! The kids had a blast swimming! We also got to participate in several fun crafts and games in their picnic shelter. The camp store was fully stocked with everything that we needed, and our site was just perfect. Shady, level, and large enough for our big tent. I really don't think I'd change a thing about our stay.

Great campground, great people, would recommend to everyone.

Our site 50 was not so level, we had to elevate the motorhome front wheels off the ground for level. Also after fully hooking up we looked for cable TV connect and could not find. A call to the office stated site 50 does not have cable. We had paid for Full Hookup. Too much to move for one night so we did without.

Love the campground, but hate the road from the interstate.

We were very happy with this KOAs location! We were exploring areas off of I-81, and this location was ideal. It was also extremely clean and had a fantastic walking path.

Staying at KOA is always a pleasure. The campground was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. The campground was quaint and had a great woodsy feel to it.

Beautiful campsites. Love the fire pits! Our site was the best site we’ve had all year in the seven other campsites we’ve visited! The staff was friendly and made us feel at home! Bathrooms and showers were clean every time we went in there! We will be back!

Four beautiful days of out-doors, and camping.

The site was cozy with lots to do. We loved the super friendly staff! Will definitely be back :)

Lowered the rating due to the road to get to the CG. Everything else was as advertised.

We enjoyed stay at the Harrisburg\Shanadoah Valley KOA. We went to a local antique car show plus Craft fair. Then went to a apple tree farm and have apple cider. I enjoyed our stay. The staff was very nice and the bathrooms were very clean.

The narrow farm lane to get there was a little scary but overall a very nice place to camp. Spacious sites, friendly staff, and a beautiful & peaceful location. Close to a lot of history. Would definitely stay there again.

Only stayed 1 night on our way back from NC to RI. Check-in was friendly and efficient. Campground is quiet. There is a hiking trail and did not complete as we didn't know where it went or if it was a loop. Would be nice to see a map posted at the beginning of the trail with a little more information. Overall, would stay here again and had no issues with the site. Everything was as expected.

Stayed for 2 nights. Very nice KOA. From camp travel to different towns and winery’s . Travel in a motor home. Thanks

Our second time here, always passing through for only a night while heading elsewhere. This is one of the most pleasant campgrounds we visit. Clean, nice layout for privacy, great staff.

Love this place. Been coming here for about 25 years. Thanks for referring Hanks BBQ. It was awesome.

Campground had nice sites. They were wooded. We stopped one night and would stay here again if in the area.

The place was very clean, friendly and relaxing

Although it seems well-run and the owners/hosts are most friendly, our site had a sewer connection at the front instead of the back (site B-3) which posed an issue. On our return trip passing through we stayed another two nights and our site (B-5) had a sewer connection that ran uphill. The noise from the I40 (I realize it can't be moved) is just too much. Smaller/more gravel needed on many sites.

I loved everything about it! The staff is amazing, friendly, and very helpful. I hope to come back again soon!!

Sarah at the front desk was so pleasant. She greeted me with a smile and was very knowledgeable about the campground and it’s amenities. Very kind person.

Cabin was clean , campground clean . Furniture needs a refresh but usable. Only complaint bed was like sleeping on the rim of a volcano always felt like I was falling into a hole in the center.

Had an amazing Labor Day weekend at the Harrisonburg KOA. Was a great location, close enough to Shenandoah with beautiful views!

Very Quiet, well run, pleasant - helpful staff, great sites. Would come back in a heartbeat!

The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. The sites were a little difficult to put a truck and camper in. It was a busy weekend but we weren’t the only ones using the road to unhook or hook up our camper

I came from Ohio and stayed 10 nights. The first night, the electricity to my site was not working. A worker came out and fixed it the next morning. The staff was friendly. The second or third night, an eastern screech owl was outside my tent in one of the trees. I never heard one before and it was amazing. Words can’t express how awesome this KOA was. I will be returning for future vacations.

We love this campground. Come there every Labor Day weekend. Would like to come more often. Maybe next year. The only negative we have is low water pressure. But I hear you’re working on that

One night stay in our rv. Nice clean showers and bathrooms. Amenities seem really nice but it was too cold for us to use anything at this time.

We stopped at this campground for one night. We arrived late (9pm) due to traffic. We easily found our reservation on the board just inside the office door. It was on the bulletin board. Clear directions to our site. It had been snowing but we found our space had been plowed. Easily connected water and electric. We did not hook up our sewer and opted for the bathrooms instead. They were super clean, plenty of hot water and the room was warm. Unfortunately we never got to meet anyone since we arrived late and left early. I did get a chance to walk around the park with our dog. There were a few trailers on-site, a shed with chickens, cabins, rec area, disc golf etc. They even deliver pizza to your site during the regular season. We have decided we will visit this campground during a better season. You can tell the owners care a great deal about this campground

The staff was AMAZING and super friendly!! We went the week after Christmas and stayed after new years and we mostly had the place to ourselves with a handful of others campers. We started in site 15 but ended up moving to 56 which was super secluded facing the woods which is exactly what we were looking for. The sites that are crossed out are under construction starting this upcoming week. Bathroom are super clean along with the whole campground. They have a pond that you can fish out of and rent poles from the front desk, dog run/fenced in play area, family games available under pavilion and much more. Even one of the sites had a dog outdoor kennel between site 43 and 34. Campground is about 20-30 mins from skyline drive (you pay $30 for a weekly pass) where we hiked majority of the time. We also visited the Luray Caverns on a rainy day which was pretty cool. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back again if ever in the area!
