Well, we were cruising back from Myrtle Beach to CT. on the road call was made for reservation and the manager was quite pleasant. She informed us of a up coming snow storm the night of our stay and gave me the flexibility of choosing our tent site for our sliding truck camper, a tall Artic fox. Luckily we were allowed that flexibility to park the tall slider in a better spot then the one.

Tent camping here was quick and easy to get set up. Show up, get your site parking tag, and you're all set. Friendly folks, easy trip. Looking forward to future visits!

I liked the playground, Halloween decorations, free coffee, laundry room, board games, etc. I felt the campsite space was small and too close to the other site. Also, there were no trees between the sites, I felt a little bit uncomfortable regarding to the privacy issue.

Grandsons loved the Pirate themed weekend and excellent activities. So much to see and do. Friendly campers and safe campsite…pristine bathroom…even pizza delivery! We will return!

The place is family friendly and close to Shenandoah. The staff is friendly and very responsive. We have been coming here for 4 years and each time we have had a great experience! Totally recommend it!

Not too bad, campsite could have been a little more well kept. The restroom and shower needed remodeling. There could have been some trash cans spread out through out the camping areas as well. Not really complaining, just saying that these things would have made the stay a little more comfortable.

Campground could use an upgrade. Didn’t like site B12, uneven and fire pit close to tent. No grilling grate for fire pit. When I went to the store to ask a question the man seemed irritated that he had to speak with me. Usually love KOA, not this one.

Had a great time staying at the campsite in tents before heading out on a backpacking trip in Shenandoah. Clean bathroom. Friendly staff.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Harrisonburg KOA. The sites were very nice, restrooms and onsite laundry kept clean and the extra services like pizza and wood delivery were added bonuses. The onsite camp managers were very courteous, helpful and friendly.

Amazing stay! Never had amenities like having firewood dropped off at the campsite or trash picked up. Made camping even easier. Great staff - super friendly and helpful, and the cleanest (and warmest) bathrooms I've experienced during a camping trip. Will definitely be back!

The campgrounds were great. I went with four other people my age. When we realized one campsite would be a bit cramped for all of us they let us rent another campsite and made sure it was close to our first site. The bathrooms and showers were some of the cleanest I've seen at campgrounds, and if you have kids there are plenty of cool activities for them. Also, their camp store was great.

The KOA campground and bathouse was very clean and well taken care of. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the pizza delivery service. We hope to be back again!

We had an amazing stay! The best KOA we have stayed at by far! There were plenty of activities for the kids. The facilities provided were clean and functioned very well. The service was amazing. We all felt welcomed and can't wait to come back! Thank you again for everything!!

We stayed in mid-September and were so happy to see that their pool was still open! The kids had a blast swimming! We also got to participate in several fun crafts and games in their picnic shelter. The camp store was fully stocked with everything that we needed, and our site was just perfect. Shady, level, and large enough for our big tent. I really don't think I'd change a thing about our stay.

I came from Ohio and stayed 10 nights. The first night, the electricity to my site was not working. A worker came out and fixed it the next morning. The staff was friendly. The second or third night, an eastern screech owl was outside my tent in one of the trees. I never heard one before and it was amazing. Words can’t express how awesome this KOA was. I will be returning for future vacations.

Couldn’t complain if I wanted to! Fabulous stay!! Very clean, extremely kind & helpful staff. Andrew quickly helped when my car battery needed a jump start. Laundry & sink area were spotless & wood delivery to our site was an added helpful bonus. Highly recommend!!

Tent camp site B6 was private and shaded. So much for our small kids to do, clean bathrooms with hot water, great laundry room with sink for cleaning dishes, quiet location literally in the mountains. Close to antique shops and luray caverns. Favorite KOA to date.

The stay was great. Only thing was when I checked in we were told to use a campsite that was right next to another camper, when there were several other campsites available with more space between campers. We were allowed to switch, but would have been better if camp office had done that.

This was my first time ever camping in a campground, the campsites were clean, well spaced out, and accommodating. The firewood & Ice delivery was also a huge plus! Cleans bathrooms & showers! 10/10 would come again

We really enjoyed the Saturday activities for the kids and the many family-friendly amenities like Frisbee golf, pool, and games. The bathrooms were also a pleasant surprise. They were nice, modern, and very clean and we'll taken care of. The staff were all super helpful and kind as well. We very much enjoyed our stay!

We stopped at this campground for one night. We arrived late (9pm) due to traffic. We easily found our reservation on the board just inside the office door. It was on the bulletin board. Clear directions to our site. It had been snowing but we found our space had been plowed. Easily connected water and electric. We did not hook up our sewer and opted for the bathrooms instead. They were super clean, plenty of hot water and the room was warm. Unfortunately we never got to meet anyone since we arrived late and left early. I did get a chance to walk around the park with our dog. There were a few trailers on-site, a shed with chickens, cabins, rec area, disc golf etc. They even deliver pizza to your site during the regular season. We have decided we will visit this campground during a better season. You can tell the owners care a great deal about this campground

The staff was AMAZING and super friendly!! We went the week after Christmas and stayed after new years and we mostly had the place to ourselves with a handful of others campers. We started in site 15 but ended up moving to 56 which was super secluded facing the woods which is exactly what we were looking for. The sites that are crossed out are under construction starting this upcoming week. Bathroom are super clean along with the whole campground. They have a pond that you can fish out of and rent poles from the front desk, dog run/fenced in play area, family games available under pavilion and much more. Even one of the sites had a dog outdoor kennel between site 43 and 34. Campground is about 20-30 mins from skyline drive (you pay $30 for a weekly pass) where we hiked majority of the time. We also visited the Luray Caverns on a rainy day which was pretty cool. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back again if ever in the area!
