Nice quite campground with an easy pull thru site. We had #10 and was easy walking to the puppy play area, pool and office.

We stayed for a week. Campground and staff were great. We visited attractions in the area and met with family. It was a perfect home base for our vacation.

The campground was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The bathrooms and showers were super clean and maintained. The dog walk area (field) was a nice large area that we could take our dog off leash for more area to sniff and do his business. The fenced in Camp K-9 was ok but frequently the bag dispenser was empty. All-in-all, a good stay!

Non-attentive teenagers at front desk (we had to ask for an escort), campground not well laid out (one lane roads with traffic going both directions), tiny dog park, dirty bathrooms.

We were in the cabin2. Deck was slippery because of moss. 3 adults slipped, fell down, injured their elbow and hips. 2 slipped near the door, 1 at deck stairs There is no light near stair, completely dark, hard to move to go to barbecue place. Millipede were all over, inside the room too. It made us very scary to sleep in the night Front fest people were extremely helpful.

Only had a one night stay, but this campground is our favorite midway spot to stay when traveling north to visit family. Never had an issue.

Except for being put in the wrong site and then having to move after being fully set up the campground is a very nice place to go to.

It was fun, a lot of people just staying for a night so a lot of turnover. The site we had wasn’t great but it was good enough. It was small and not shady so it was really hot and buggy, expected in August though. Clean campground and staff was friendly.

We were only there one night as we passed through the area. I thought the grounds were clean, the sites were large and well maintained.

Very nice KOA! Quiet setting in a wooded location. Sites are nicely spaced with the majority of site with shade. Nice pool and recreation area. Staff was outstanding extremely helpful and attentive. We traveled in a 45 foot motorhome. There are a few tight turns but nothing extreme. My only concern was a few over hanging branches which needed trimming back on only a few of the turns.

I appreciate the cleanness of our cabin and it’s proximity to the bathrooms. The camp was quiet and nurturing to our soul.

The campground was clean and quiet. Definitely a family friendly campground. Location was close to attractions that we came for. Definitely would return.

Loved the campground and the people, everyone was very nice. My only issue was with our site as it was not very level, we had a hard time trying to get our rig level...never did get it quite right. That was just our site (#50) though, don't know about others.

Campground was very nice, and facilities were clean and well-serviced. I was camping with a friend and we both made request to camp next to each other when we made our reservation, but ended up on the opposite side of the loop. This shouldn't have been a hard request to fill. The campground was a little less private than I prefer, but that's on my for not researching enough. Overall great trip.

Just an over night stay-but enjoyed. Wanted to use our rewards but was told when we were there to go to office. Office closed when we arrived at 8:30 because of traffic-than didn't open till 9 AM. We had to leave at 8 because of travel distance. Would have liked to use our rewards-disappointed in that. Otherwise, good KOA

Stopped here for 2 nights in our way to Gatlinburg. A beautiful campground! We would definitely return. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, from check-in to check-out. Thank you!

Friendly staff, clean cabins and rest rooms. Love the pies. My only complaint is the 10 am checkout, which is too early. And don’t recommend the Southern Restaurant.

Nice campground, friendly staff, only negative was we did not realize it was 50 minutes from Shenandoah National Park. Clean, well kept. Hiking trail starting in the park was good.

Staff was amazing, the grounds were fantastic! Loved the whole place. Site 27 was a little tight for a 35’ travel trailer (site was fine, but the placement of trees and rocks made backing in difficult). All in all though, amazing stay!

Everyone working at this KOA was very nice and the sites and bathrooms were very clean. I think for the cost of the sites that the bathrooms could be a little nicer.

Delaine and Tim took such good care of us RV newbies! We were so anxious and scared about everything and they helped us through it all! Kampsites were immaculate, the grounds were quiet and amenities were perfect! Will definitely be back! Thank you!

this is a beautiful setting, almost like the best state park you have ever stayed in. It is truly a place to stay, not just a one nighter! The staff are all wonderful, the grounds and public areas kept very clean. it is best to have a vehicle to use for day outings if that is what you want to do with so much nearby. Great hiking areas, the skyline drive and hikes into the Shenandoah National.

We loved site 32. Troy was a wonderful asset to your campground. He spent lots of time with our 5 year old grand daughter and answered all her questions about the ducks and chickens. Many thanks for his hospitality !

One night stay in our rv. Nice clean showers and bathrooms. Amenities seem really nice but it was too cold for us to use anything at this time.

We stopped at this campground for one night. We arrived late (9pm) due to traffic. We easily found our reservation on the board just inside the office door. It was on the bulletin board. Clear directions to our site. It had been snowing but we found our space had been plowed. Easily connected water and electric. We did not hook up our sewer and opted for the bathrooms instead. They were super clean, plenty of hot water and the room was warm. Unfortunately we never got to meet anyone since we arrived late and left early. I did get a chance to walk around the park with our dog. There were a few trailers on-site, a shed with chickens, cabins, rec area, disc golf etc. They even deliver pizza to your site during the regular season. We have decided we will visit this campground during a better season. You can tell the owners care a great deal about this campground

The staff was AMAZING and super friendly!! We went the week after Christmas and stayed after new years and we mostly had the place to ourselves with a handful of others campers. We started in site 15 but ended up moving to 56 which was super secluded facing the woods which is exactly what we were looking for. The sites that are crossed out are under construction starting this upcoming week. Bathroom are super clean along with the whole campground. They have a pond that you can fish out of and rent poles from the front desk, dog run/fenced in play area, family games available under pavilion and much more. Even one of the sites had a dog outdoor kennel between site 43 and 34. Campground is about 20-30 mins from skyline drive (you pay $30 for a weekly pass) where we hiked majority of the time. We also visited the Luray Caverns on a rainy day which was pretty cool. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back again if ever in the area!
