The staff was EXCELLENT. I tripped and broke my collarbone while there, and one woman in particular woman really took care of me. While my husband was dealing with the emergency call she initiated, she fanned me and comforted me on the ground. They took care of my laundry which was in the dryer & arranged an extra night's stay for us. Couldn't have asked for more. plus gorgeous campground.

We had a wonderful time at the Harrisonburg KOA! Facilities were clean and well-maintained. We loved the outdoor arcade, the pool, and the hiking trail.

We were lucky to get a reservation because they only had one campsite. The camp manager helped me back in and he was excellent. He was extremely friendly and personable!

A nice quiet place to stay. Shady and clean. The only thing if you visit, wear head covering. Gnats and flies are terrible.

I wish they had more activities for the kids during the week.

Nice campground but too many trees at turning points for large rv to easily get around.

Sites are very short and close together; roads are confusing and narrow.

We really enjoyed the Saturday activities for the kids and the many family-friendly amenities like Frisbee golf, pool, and games. The bathrooms were also a pleasant surprise. They were nice, modern, and very clean and we'll taken care of. The staff were all super helpful and kind as well. We very much enjoyed our stay!

This is an awesome family friendly KOA. It has smaller sites and close together. It is a great campground for group and family camping. It has alot of activities for children and young adults. It is not really convenient for larger rigs. We did appreciate getting the last pull through and leaving trailer in lot. Not really set up for the 1 nighters that need to just get off the road.

We just did a quick overnight and didn't use the park facilities very much, but it was nicely wooded, but some dead trees that need to come down ASAP. The bathrooms and showers were great. This, along with the Luray and Natural Bridge KOAs are a very reasonable drive for us from Connecticut as we move to other places and we will stay here again.

Called ahead, was told could not reserve site w/cash, but they had plenty of sites long enough, with full hookup, got there 30 minutes later, no sites long enough, only site that could accommodate, did not have sewer, told that site was not marked but that we could find it, was not even really a site but overflow, asked for supervisors phone #, given card with office number, totally unprofessional

Clean and shady campground. Close enough to Shenandoah NP. Would like to see freestanding family bathrooms but main off bathrooms are adequate and clean. Cable was good but would like at least one finance channel such as cnbc. Quick emergency respond for senior citizen. Great location location location.

Full service, great staff, very clean, especially the bathroom. Great for family camping and RV. Sites are nice, but small and close compared to a National Park site

We made reservations on line for full hookups. Upon setting up, I called the office and asked where the cable hook up was located. Her response was, ha ha there isnt one on 67. We can look at moving you later.. sorry once set up I dont xare to move. Not happy with the 'false info'.

This is the 3rd year we have stayed here. I was disappointed this year with the grounds upkeep. The pool area had some beautiful flowers but most were overrun with weeds. I noticed several areas that really needed to be cleaned up. And while I love the 5 mile speed limit - NO ONE does 5! Staying in the lodge you have a main road in front and behind the cabin - Even the golf carts sped by all day!

The part is very clean, conveniently located, quiet, and the staff is very accommodating and helpful. They are very pet friendly and the park itself is beautiful.

We were able to do all we hoped to do, thank you.

Very nice staff members, who were both friendly and informative. This review is for cabin rental (we also had a rv site, but I rated it on another post). Cabin was clean, air conditioner cooled cabin (and it was hot outside). No complaints-will rent again if needed.

Staff members at this KOA were great-welcoming, informative. Our site was well spaced and included a deck with picnic table and benches- a real nice feature for our stay. Sites were clean and we did observe staff check each site after a camper's departure and make sure clean for next camper. We will stay here again if we need a campground in this area.

My famliy had a wonderdul time at the campground! We swam, played at the playground, walked the grounds, had camp fires, shopped in the General store and mined gems and fossles. My 9, 6 and 3 yearl old boys and I had a wonderful time. We really enjoyed the primative cabin! So fun!! So easy! Memories made!

Very nice campground, with friendly staff. Lovely sites, with trees and in ground fire pits. I would stay here anytime I’m in the area and recommend it highly to others. For a one night stay or a longer stay to relax and enjoy, this is a great place.

One night stay in our rv. Nice clean showers and bathrooms. Amenities seem really nice but it was too cold for us to use anything at this time.

We stopped at this campground for one night. We arrived late (9pm) due to traffic. We easily found our reservation on the board just inside the office door. It was on the bulletin board. Clear directions to our site. It had been snowing but we found our space had been plowed. Easily connected water and electric. We did not hook up our sewer and opted for the bathrooms instead. They were super clean, plenty of hot water and the room was warm. Unfortunately we never got to meet anyone since we arrived late and left early. I did get a chance to walk around the park with our dog. There were a few trailers on-site, a shed with chickens, cabins, rec area, disc golf etc. They even deliver pizza to your site during the regular season. We have decided we will visit this campground during a better season. You can tell the owners care a great deal about this campground

The staff was AMAZING and super friendly!! We went the week after Christmas and stayed after new years and we mostly had the place to ourselves with a handful of others campers. We started in site 15 but ended up moving to 56 which was super secluded facing the woods which is exactly what we were looking for. The sites that are crossed out are under construction starting this upcoming week. Bathroom are super clean along with the whole campground. They have a pond that you can fish out of and rent poles from the front desk, dog run/fenced in play area, family games available under pavilion and much more. Even one of the sites had a dog outdoor kennel between site 43 and 34. Campground is about 20-30 mins from skyline drive (you pay $30 for a weekly pass) where we hiked majority of the time. We also visited the Luray Caverns on a rainy day which was pretty cool. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back again if ever in the area!
