This beautiful campground was very tight for maneuvering big rigs. Lots of trees and hills and rocks. Sites were level and spacious just difficult to get in to them with a big rig. Note public road to get to this campground was very tight with hills and 90 degree turns with no visibility! Would not go back there with our big rig. Great for smaller rvs and tents.

It’s not a place with easy access as advertised you drive about 4 miles on a road that’s barely wide enough for two car not to mention two motorhomes. In addition the sites aren’t level they are close together. I certainly don’t understand the price they demand. I’m staying at a KOA in South Carolina as I’m writing this that’s well worth the money and the cost is lower than Harrisonb

Staff and location fantastic. 4th of July wasn’t crazy in the park. The campground is clean and is about 4 miles off the interstate. This kept it really quiet. Only a suggestion, a few doggie pots in other areas of the park.

Because of a mechanical breakdown on the highway, we had to change our dates on the July 4th holiday. The HARRISONBURG / SHENANDOAH VALLEY KOA was very accommodating to our needs. We truly appreciated their help, plus we had a good time staying there.

Great location and very easy to get in and out of the campground. Only complain was I have a 5th wheel and truck that is 63 feet long and we had one tight spot but we made it through without anybissue

We LOVED this Campground! It was great, from the pool to the trail (we went up the mountain twice), to the neatness of the campground. All the employees were very nice and helpful! Only negative aspect of our stay is that it's so dark at night and the absolute need to have a flashlight.

Beautiful property with lots of trees! All of the sites as well as the bath house kept very clean. Lots of activities for kids and adults alike, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Looking forward to our next stay!

The campground is located in a wooded area conveniently located about 3 miles off of Interstate 81. Each site is relatively level and well-marked with lots of shade from the surrounding trees. The staff was very courteous and friendly. I would certainly recommend this campground to anyone wishing to stop for a evening or use is at a base camp to visit the surrounding areas.

We broke down nearby and they were very accommodating and helpful. They found a site that would allow a tow truck to pull us into and were very flexible in working with us to accommodate the time it took to get our truck repaired. The staff was very friendly and the showers were clean and the water was hot. This was a blessing to us!

We found the roads a little tight throughout the campgrounds for big rigs but, once there, pure heaven. The staff was great and check in was smooth. We had a little battle with hornets and was very impressed that the camp host was so responsive.

Beautiful place, very nice staff. The site was not absolutely flat, so the water in the shower did not run out.

Friendly and helpful staff, nice facilities and extras. Wish I had brought a suit to use the pool. Nice roomy sites to back into compared to some places we have been.

Very nice, small campground. Staff incredibly pleasant and helpful. Wish our friends had been assigned the empty site next to us but maybe there was something wrong with it. Fidn8ask because it wasn't that big of a deal. We'll definitely return.

Me encanto este lugar tanto a mi como a mi familia. Los empleados muy amables. Las areas comunes bien limpias. Pero lo mas que me gusto es la cantidad de arboles y la paz que encontre. Definitivamente quiero volver.

Just stayed overnight, but were impressed with this great campground - you can always rely on KOA for beautiful and clean campgrounds with level sites, top notch service, and friendly people!

This is the second time we have stayed at this KOA. We love the woodsy sites. Very clean and comfortable. Both times we have been given a friendly, warm welcome.

Better than expected! Our first stay at a KOA so didn't know what to expect. Campground was clean and well maintained. Amenities were awesome as was the staff. Always friendly and helpful. Will definitely choose a KOA again!

After a long search of trying to find a good campground, this was definitely worth it. I liked how there were activities laid out in the front of the main building. The bathrooms were really clean which was a bonus for me and it had a lovely camp store.

One night stay in our rv. Nice clean showers and bathrooms. Amenities seem really nice but it was too cold for us to use anything at this time.

We stopped at this campground for one night. We arrived late (9pm) due to traffic. We easily found our reservation on the board just inside the office door. It was on the bulletin board. Clear directions to our site. It had been snowing but we found our space had been plowed. Easily connected water and electric. We did not hook up our sewer and opted for the bathrooms instead. They were super clean, plenty of hot water and the room was warm. Unfortunately we never got to meet anyone since we arrived late and left early. I did get a chance to walk around the park with our dog. There were a few trailers on-site, a shed with chickens, cabins, rec area, disc golf etc. They even deliver pizza to your site during the regular season. We have decided we will visit this campground during a better season. You can tell the owners care a great deal about this campground

The staff was AMAZING and super friendly!! We went the week after Christmas and stayed after new years and we mostly had the place to ourselves with a handful of others campers. We started in site 15 but ended up moving to 56 which was super secluded facing the woods which is exactly what we were looking for. The sites that are crossed out are under construction starting this upcoming week. Bathroom are super clean along with the whole campground. They have a pond that you can fish out of and rent poles from the front desk, dog run/fenced in play area, family games available under pavilion and much more. Even one of the sites had a dog outdoor kennel between site 43 and 34. Campground is about 20-30 mins from skyline drive (you pay $30 for a weekly pass) where we hiked majority of the time. We also visited the Luray Caverns on a rainy day which was pretty cool. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back again if ever in the area!
