We were originally placed in a site that was literally impossible to level and a staff person later said they're was no way a motorhome could be level in that site. We said we could not stay in that site so we got another site that was better but under a persimmon tree that required daily cleaning of the roof and the area around the RV. We appreciated the couple from Georgia that worked there.

Everyone was very nice but the site (#45) had several problems. There were persimmon trees that hung right over our trailer. Rotting persimmons all over the ground and Trailer. Should take the two trees down. The gnats were all over and in our trailer. This site is small - very close to you to your neighbor on two sides. Should have moved the first day when they offered due to size of site!

although we were passing through, the brief interaction with people in office were friendly, polite, and all around pleasant to deal with. They escorted us to our rv site and we ordered pizza in the office and they DELIVERED, who does that! We will be back, Thanks So Much!!

This campground is not worth $80/night. If I am going to spend that kind of money for a campsite, I expect great, perfectly level sites, great cable TV, great WiFi, wide sites, and great water pressure. This was not the case with this campground. It seems to be very typical of KOA campgrounds anymore. All are overpriced for what you get.

Omg what can I say this camp ground is the best that we have stayed in in a long time. We loved the staff especially Tim and Delaney they were so accommodating and so pleasant. They will help you any way they can. The grounds super clean and loved what they did for Halloween with trick or treat, haunted forest and wagon ride. Will recommend this camp ground for sure.

We stayed for 2 nights. The campground was quiet and clean. The restrooms were very clean, and the staff was very friendly.

Site was Great! Fire pit was Great! Restrooms were very clean! Shower stales could have been a little wider. Hot water could have been more plenty full. The heat in the restrooms could have been turned on on the chilly nights.

This is a nice, rustic campground with a sort of 70s vibe to it. Very relaxing with lots of trees and elevation changes among the sites. Very friendly staff that provide some nice perks like firewood and pizza delivery.

We paid for a premium say that we did not have a table and chairs or a brand new glider. Also site was very Unlevel. Tree was so close we could not put out our awning. I had to use an extension on every utility they were so far away. I complained to manager he was very nice and refunded part of my money. Still would probably not go there again.

This is an adorable campground - the only thing we had an issue with is that we didn't get any cable or wifi at the campsite we were in. They advertise free cable & wifi; so they should make sure all campsites have it. Other than that we thought is was an adorable set up - we came in October and they had the place decorated for Halloween, it was cool.

Friendly people. Level site. Only downside the firewood was expensive. Spent the cost of a one night stay on firewood. Liiked in the area as well and noone sells it cheaper. All and all though a nice stay

We arrived after dark. We had a bit of trouble getting parked due to it is pretty dark. Staff was great. Very peaceful and quiet campground. The sites are gravel. We would probably stay here again if we are ever that way again. It seems they have activities for the kids also!

The site set up was perfect. We were in site 51. Upon arrival Tim & his Wife new immediately that we we're in a site that would not work. The trees prevented us from putting our slide out out. The two of them worked to put us in a more manageable location. As always KOA has the best workers to meet the needs of the guest. After a long ride we are thankful for them. Thank you.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The campground was well maintained, in the woods and quit. We are planning to back in 2022.

Great location and spacious sites. I would stay again and we usually prefer state parks or national forests.

Best KOA we ever stayed at. The lots are spacious, you are not on top of each other. We were with 2 other RVers, we had lots 22-26. Lot 22 has the best fire pit. The trail is amazing, we didn't expect a little challenge right there at our campground. Nice dog park, the bathroom and laundry room spotless and they have games and movies you can borrow for free. The staff was great! Recommend!

Everything was wonderful, very relaxing and restful. All the employees are nice and cheerful. I would recommend the cable be looked into, it has a very snowy picture for all channels and hard to watch. Thank you for a wonderful camping season. See you next year.

Not good for Class A, but fine for smaller trailers?. This KOA is 3 miles down a narrow, winding road off I-81. Campground road is an even smaller 1 way with not enough room for 2 passing cars, let alone 2 campers. My site was not very level, pushing the right rear wheel 8 inches off the ground after leveling. 50 AM breaker blew when plugged in. Very professional staff however in a nice setting.

Love the campground and very nice host! But once again not good Wi-Fi … not sure why the KOA’s cannot upgrade to GOOD Wi-Fi … so many people need to work and want Wi-Fi TV while camping

This is our preferred campground to go to. However, this is the first time we were disappointed w/this campground. Campsite number 2 should not be rented out to fifth wheels that are 29 feet long w/a slide out. It is not big enough. Well, it WOULD have been, had the one tree on the fire pit side of the site been removed, so that people w/awnings can open them.

One night stay in our rv. Nice clean showers and bathrooms. Amenities seem really nice but it was too cold for us to use anything at this time.

We stopped at this campground for one night. We arrived late (9pm) due to traffic. We easily found our reservation on the board just inside the office door. It was on the bulletin board. Clear directions to our site. It had been snowing but we found our space had been plowed. Easily connected water and electric. We did not hook up our sewer and opted for the bathrooms instead. They were super clean, plenty of hot water and the room was warm. Unfortunately we never got to meet anyone since we arrived late and left early. I did get a chance to walk around the park with our dog. There were a few trailers on-site, a shed with chickens, cabins, rec area, disc golf etc. They even deliver pizza to your site during the regular season. We have decided we will visit this campground during a better season. You can tell the owners care a great deal about this campground

The staff was AMAZING and super friendly!! We went the week after Christmas and stayed after new years and we mostly had the place to ourselves with a handful of others campers. We started in site 15 but ended up moving to 56 which was super secluded facing the woods which is exactly what we were looking for. The sites that are crossed out are under construction starting this upcoming week. Bathroom are super clean along with the whole campground. They have a pond that you can fish out of and rent poles from the front desk, dog run/fenced in play area, family games available under pavilion and much more. Even one of the sites had a dog outdoor kennel between site 43 and 34. Campground is about 20-30 mins from skyline drive (you pay $30 for a weekly pass) where we hiked majority of the time. We also visited the Luray Caverns on a rainy day which was pretty cool. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back again if ever in the area!
