From I-94, take Exit 105. At the Stop Sign at the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left onto Hwy 95 and go 3.7 miles. The Hixton/Alma Center KOA Holiday is on the left shortly after the Blue Moo Barefoot Waterski sign.
If coming from the East on State Highway 95, you will see a billboard on the right hand side of the highway indicating that the campground entrance is 1700 feet on your right.
Coming from both directions, look for the BIG YELLOW KOA flag by our entrance from the highway!

Within a short drive of the Hixton/Alma Center KOA, there are many miles of ATV trails. There are no trails directly connected to the campground, but we have plenty of room for you to park your trailer with your ATVs. With three rental locations - one in Black River Falls (I-($ Exit 116), one in Warrens (I-94 Exit 135), and one in Merrillan (N117 Cty Rd J) - the excitement of heading out on the trails in a UTV await you! Bear Bogging Adventure Tours has premium UTV rentals starting at $299. There are full day and half day trips that access 235+ miles of off-road trail access. There are GPS maps for easy navigation and Bear Bogging puts a strong emphasis on safety by providing drive training, helmets, and goggles.
The 4.1 mile Foundation Trail circles the city of Black River Falls and winds along the Blak River, the Town Creek, near the golf course, through the Lunda Community Park, past the high school, past the fairgrounds, and the downtown area. The 10-foot wide paved trail has two underpasses, lights, a bridge, benches, and picnic tables and is a breathtakingly beautiful journey around the city.
