We were very disappointed with this KOA. We travel with our pups and specifically requested a pull through near the dog park. We were given a spot about as far away from the fenced dog park as you could be (park was muddy and soggy). There was a dog walk (dirt) area close by our site and a very small, astro turf grass, (very smelly) fenced area however it was locked. Many posted signs NO PETS.

Good place to stay to visit Petrified Forest NP. The entire campground is gravel (except tent sites/dog run). Some nice sites with wood deck and patio furniture but most just standard pull-thru sites. Few trees but desert area after all. The one big negative is they claim to have Wi-Fi and you can connect but the speed is so slow that it is useless so if you need Wi-Fi find another place.

We had a deluxe camping cabin with full bathroom, good and comfortable, however, we had 2 kids, 4 adults. Adults in loft doesn't work very well as it is a very short ceiling. Cabin would have worked well for 4 kids/2 adults. The biggest issue was cabin appeared clean on the surface, but ceiling fan, air conditioner filters CAKED with dust which made air bad. We cleaned them ourselves.

Just a stop over on the way home. Convenient location to highway and services. But, gravel sites not my preferred surface.

It was great staying there even though we came late and didn’t get to make a reservation. Staffs were friendly. I would suggest next time to put some envelopes outside after office hours for late campers. Total very satisfied with our stay.

Well thank goodness I had an xtra sewer hose the strech was long I didn’t unhook due to not staying two or more nights. Then water main broke on Main Street so no showers no laundry not their fault but a problem for us. Wasn’t inviteding to stay there

Basically the Park wasn’t too bad except for two items. First is the size and almost died grass in the dog park. Second and the worst is the level of the site, I had to put 4 lego blocks under the right front cylinder and 8 lego blocks under the left front cylinder so I could get the coach level. Both front tires ended off the ground when the system finished.

This was our first time in a cabin: very nice. The facilities and grounds were well maintained and the staff friendly, helpful and efficient. The site was set apart from the freeway which significantly cut down the traffic noise which is nice. Slept like the infant child I once was 64 years and 11 months ago. Thanks!

Very nice place to stay. Clean bathrooms, however the bathrooms near the office could use a little upgrading. A stall with handrails and a taller toilet would be nice. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Stay was nice; We had a reservation but the office forgot to put our assigned spot out for us to pick up w/ our after hours arrival. We just picked an empty spot and hoped we didn’t take it from someone!

We hadn't been to the Holbrook KOA since 2018 and were extremely impressed with renovations and condition of the property in August 2021. The sites are spacious and well kept. The office and grounds staff were very cordial, courteous, and professional.

Although it's apparent some of the areas have been remodeled, it doesn't matter if it's not being kept up. This KOA failed in the cleanliness area. Walking into the bathroom/shower, it looked like it had not been cleaned in quite a while. There was dust and cowebs everywhere and crickets in the shower area. We only stayed overnight.

Only spent one night there, but it was a nice place had a nice little store, nice pool only thing when we left the next morning there was no water, which I guess was no fault of the campground, a pipe broke in town evidently but other than that it was a nice place.

So much history, beautiful sites, lots to see and do. Campground was well maintained and staff were very accommodating and friendly.

The property is in very ill repair. Bathrooms with broken fixtures and tile falling off the wall. We stayed 5 nights location is great but our view for 5 nights was a row of permanent RV's old and dilapidated and the highway, not to mention the ATV track next to us. I would have appreciated being in the 100 spots that a clearly better groomed. Employees all wonderfully friendly and inviting.

The staff were at best disinterested and at worst rude. Could care less we were there. Also paid for pet site but the pet area was dirty with ground in dog poop and very smelly right there at our camper door. Yuck

This was a terrible KOA with poor customer service and facilities. The water went out during our stay and management didn’t inform any one or provide any compensation for the major inconvenience. Will never stay here again and highly recommend you look elsewhere.

Neat place with a museum inside. Everything is extremely breakable and beautiful. There are these cute little picture opportunities outside too😉
