It's a dry and dusty location, but the aggravating issue was the fact that the restrooms nearest the cabins were closed for renovation. Many cabins don't have bathrooms! Could this have been done some other time of the year, like dead summer?

The 2 person Kabin was great! Very clean, cozy, and affordable. We will be back! : )

Main building Mens Restroom was closed for ‘remodeling’. The more remote restroom / shower facility was marginally functional. The mens urinal was out of order and the shower drained backed up when taking a shower. This is a very ‘tired and rundown’ operation that is in serious need of renovation.

We were there to see the petrified forest, it was a nice place to stay, it was close to everything we wanted to see. We did not bring our trailer so we stayed in the cabins. They were very nice. We have stayed in the KOA cabins before. Brought my grandkids, they really loved the playground. Actually think they enjoyed the playground compared to the petrified forest.

Cabin was very clean. Bathrooms need remodeling, they felt dirty due to age related build-up. Dish washing stations are inadequate and not cleaned

Cabin was clean and had everything we needed: bedding, towels, etc! Manager was very helpful, even turned the heat on for us! Perfect location for day trips. I'd definitely stay here aging if I was in the area

Very difficult to get the tv to work, remote needed new batteries that we luckily had since we had been camping.

Loved this location! Nice campground, our camping cabin was awesome and an easy walk to the bathroom. Lots of bathrooms overall, which was appreciated because the men's main bathroom was being remodeled but the husband was able to just take a short walk over to the other one. The bathroom was nice and clean. Nice kamping kitchen too, complete with some electric burners and picnic tables and shade.

The cabin had a smoke detector removed, and the door lock would get stuck, a definite safety hazard. One Mens restroom was completely closed, and the only remaining Mens restroom had an out of order urinal and only two stalls, one of which had a broken door lock. Safety hazards and major inconveniences, this KOA needs some oversight.

The internet was terrible and the TV was only streaming so with terrible internet, the TV did not work well either. The cabin we stayed in was very nice except for the shower head which was partially clogged so the water coming out was painful

We stayed in rustic cottage. Really enjoyed the cottage with all we needed, except had to close base of door with towel as cold (~27 degrees) cold was coming in. Electric heat was insufficient.

We arrived late so the key to our cabin was left out for us because the office had closed which was very nice. The cabin was cute and very clean. The campground offers activities as well and this is very close to petrified forest national park

Second time in 3 months and consistently great! This time we rented the cabin with a shower. Nice hot shower! Bed was very comfortable and we (our fur babies) we’re warm and toasty! One suggestion: leave porch light on and turn on heater!

I was impressed how the cabin looked for such a small town. It had all the necessary amenities. I would definitely stay here again. I like that they had a space for dogs to do their business. Again, the cabins are worth the price.

We were taken aback by the fact that the temperature was a mere 12 degrees and only a very very light spread on the bed. We had to sleep in our clothes! Very shortsighted on management’s part. We arrived after hours, so no staff available to assist us, and had a Kabin with a bathroom and shower with linens provided. Even inexpensive motels have extra blankets in the closet!
