The on-site campground host needs to work on his people skills. We had two encounters with him in 3 days. Both times he was rude and disrespectful. Upon my arrival home, a friend of mine asked me if we had any issues with the campground host (before I told him our story). What does that say about this gentleman? We will not be back to your facility. Views of Kachemack Bay are great.

Great stay in the Yurt, closest bathroom lock did not work. We knew we were arriving late so we called early to check in. The code we were given for the yurt was incorrect so we couldn't get in at midnight. We had to call camp host who although apologized that we had the wrong code seemed slightly agitated that we woke him up. Great showers.

The fact that the gas station never had any ice or basic things like bread, cereal, and milk was frustrating and a real head scratcher.

The management was especially helpful in accommodating our special needs. Much appreciated. It appears to have been an RV campground for some years and is working hard to come up to KOA standards. The location and view are fairly remarkable. Lots of sites and close to town of Homer. Wayne was very helpful.

Beautiful stay in the child and dog-friendly park, protected from winds and with several sightings of Eagles close up. Nice, convenient bathhouses as well.

Fantastic stay. Beautiful views of Kachemak Bay. About 10 minutes to the Homer Spit. Nice and quiet in the evenings. We will definitely be staying here again!

The KOA is a great place. The location is perfect to overlook the ocean. I wish the "General Store" had a few more items in it that would be helpful campers, like bread. The camp host should also read up on the regulation on feeding the Bald Eagles. You are not allowed to feed them and I watched as he threw peices of meat to the couple that hang out in the trees.

The views on the ocean side of the campground are unbeatable, and Wayne the camp host was incredibly friendly and helpful. We will absolutely be back!

I enjoyed it and the views were nice! A bit noisey at night even after midnight with people yelling. Also, I reserved 3 nights assuming I could get some work done on the wifi the 3rd day, but the wifi was too slow to even do basic internet browsing so we had to leave a day early. I think it’s false advertising to say you have wifi if it’s not functional when people are there.

The park is clean and there are new improvements (kids play area, more RV sites, and lots of camping options). This is our 2nd time to rent the yurt; it is tucked away in a secluded area with a nice fire ring. The personnel who work there are also very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

This spot is so beautiful. This was our second stay. The shower in the Augustine cabin was challenging to get to have hot water but everything else was really wonderful.

Wayne (the camp host) greeted us soon after we were set up. He as so kind and gracious especially with our children! The views of Katchemak Bay are unparalleled!

Great views, pretty quiet and not too crowded. No hot water in the bathrooms. Free showers which had plenty of hot water. Wash machine was $4.00 and dryer I think was $1.50. We were in the middle section. Wifi was pretty good with some channels picked up on TV antenna. Upper spots are right near the road and do no look pleasant. We had to use boards to get level on one side.

Bathrooms were amazingly clean and the ground were very well kept up- the highlight for the kids was the play grounds, only thing I’d change, that was an inconvenience for us, is putting a grate on the fire pit

Beautiful views! Facilities are clean and camp grounds are in great condition. New playground for littles. Limited amount of tent sites. We had to utilize an RV site, so the ground was rather gravely. Only a minor inconvenience with good quality tent stakes.

Great place, spent a week here...kids loved playing on the boat...staff was super helpful, and camp host was a great guy...the only down side was the lack of staff at the store which resulted in limited hours....otherwise 5 stars!
