Cabin was clean. For being fully furnished we felt there should have been more than one roll of toilet paper for 5 of us staying 3 days/nights, same with trash bags. Camp ground was clean and orderly. Hot top did not work and breaker didn’t appear to be tripped. Staff was immediately on the problem. Had no issue bringing my sons hearing service dog. The location was conveniently located, easy to get in and out of. The lots were very clean and level. The grounds were a bit muddy and there was a busy railway nearby that was loud.

It's a great location for the area. Heard the trains through the night the first night but got better the next day. It was very clean and the staff was excellent!

Only negative thing was that the shower house was not cool enough. After I dried my hair I could not finish styling my air or make-up as I was sweating too bad.

This KOA is very nice. As a tent camper I definitely recommend this site. It will be nice to see some expansions and more activities for children and adults. Most of the staff were very friendly.

Very well kept grounds. A smaller park which is what we like. Not a lot of traffic. Very nice parking sites. We considered it to be quiet & peaceful. There is a train near by that you can hear but that didn't bother us.

It would be unfair to rate this campground as it rained the whole time we were there. The campground was very muddy and seemed to have drainage problems. We only had contact with one employee and she was very helpful.

The sites are small with not much space between campers. It is good for a 1 night stay if you are passing through, for us it would not be somewhere we would stay longer than that. The wifi did not qorkwhile we were there, it had been raining and the drainage was not very well with standing water all around the campsites by us.

Had no internet, but that was not of your doing. We had come for UofK graduation on Sunday, 5/17, but the rain cancelled that - again - not of your doing. Otherwise, it was very nice. The campground is well run and well cared for and if we ever get there again - or are passing through Lawrence, we would definitely stay there again! We had friends stay there last Oct - good words from them too.

We were parked in the lowest part of the park and it rained constantly( not parks problem) and had to go in and out trailer in the mud. This should have been known by park management.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The primitive camping cabin was actually pretty nice. Would like to come back with our camper but the RV sites are a bit close together. Some of the primitive sites did look really nice and spaced out. Would stay again!

It's a fair, if downmarket and noisy park if U have to be in Lawrence. No internet, cable at only some spots, but the price gouging is pretty egregious. Maybe when it was $39, but not now. Get yourself to Topeka, a bit of a slog to Lawrence but much better run with regular prices.

Camp ground and staff were great. The ONLY drawback; and the staff warned us at check in, was the trains. Ear plugs we're offered and we know the tracks can't be moved, but it is what is. :) We would stay again when on that side of KC.

The campground was very convenient to our planned destination. The host gave us good directions to the Kansas City Speedway is stead of using the GPS. Just make aright turn out of the campground and 25 miles later we were there! Nice clean showers and restrooms. One of the best we have stayed at. We will be happy to return when our travels allow.

Spaces were generally good, not crammed in but internet was extremely poor,. I could barely complete emails w/o delay. You will also need a long coaxial cable if you want TV, could not use as connection is not centrally located, it's at Front of space and our connection is at back.

Met the criteria I expect at KOA - clean/maintained, well laid out, and amenities. Train noise was noticeable but not too bad. Internet was slow and could not handle the demand. This is important to us as we spend at least 3 months a year on the road in our RV and it is how we keep in touch with family and friends so it needs to be upgraded. Staff was courtesy and helpful.

Nice staff; pull thru was gravel & very tight spaces; good dog park; I had a small limb fall on my truck; it is ok for a one night stop over; long term guest did not seem to observe rules about pets; High price for just a stop over and nothing open; no trash pickup, dumpster at the entrance to park; It was cold wet and muddy so that probably influenced my scoring.

Noisy nearby highway...but worse than that were the trains blasting and horns blaring all night long. No sleep. Other than that the place was nice.

Bathrooms were very clean. For the price, I expected more amenities. It stormed while we were there, and we woke up to a pond in front of our camper, the drainage could have been a little better. We will use it again, as we have family in the area. Also, the camper are set in alternating directions, so you basically share the outside area with strangers.

Everything was great with the exception of the WiFi service. We weren’t looking to stream or do anything to tax the WiFi but it’s basic connection was so weak that when we needed to track the weather when I storm was moving through we didn’t feel safe and left in the middle of the night to go to a hotel where we had better service and could keep up on the incoming storm.

The people are very nice. The play area, zip line are cool. I think the zip line seat should be replaced. The rv spots are pretty tight together. The bathrooms were clean. They also have a laundry room. Fenced doggy area. Horse shoes.

Wow, the staff are wonderful. And facilitys is very clean with room to say Hi to other camper. Pet friendly. Nice location.
