The highway and train noise was very loud. Thankfully, they offer earplugs when checking in. The sites are way too close and offer no privacy. The people running the campground are wonderful and do whatever they can to help.

We stayed two nights at the Lawrence KOA. They was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom and showers was very clean and well kept as well as the camping grounds. They have a nice little dog park for our four legged family. It also has a nice area for tent camping with playground equipment. It was very easy to get to off of the turnpike, and Highway 40 - 24 takes you right in to Kansas City.

The mgr at the desk was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay, and would book this campground on our next trip out West.

Loved our site with patio, table & chairs, and even a swing! Also, appreciated the privacy and pizza delivery. Mosquitoes not so much.

Very nice front office personnel. The man and woman were very kind and concerned that we were happy - you could tell they cared. If we ever go that way again, definately would stay

The campground was so-so but the train is SO close and blows the whistle ALL night. You know when you are in for a noisy night when the camp staff offer you free ear plugs at checkin. Will not stay here again.

Campground was clean and cared for. Sites have easy access and although typical KOA spacing they were arranged in a pattern to maximize privacy. Showers were clean. Will stay again

Ok park. No 50 amp available. WiFi was broken. Lots of trains but they did offer earplugs. Close to interstate. Fine for overnight stay

People in the office were helpful and friendly. Problem with this KOA was the tightness of the sites and the serious issues with mud and runoff from moderate rain. Virtually no grass around the sites, nor concrete. Area around sewer connection was muddy and smelled like sewage. Unfortunately the potable water connection was within inches of the sewer hookup. Will not recommend nor return.

Everyone we had interactions with was wonderful, the site was level but had a tendency to get soggy in the rain. Next time will request a spot closer to the office up the hill.

Staff welcoming, office & store good, site good-looking. The WiFi was out, so we had to use our hotspot. The cable TV had a number of channels not working.

The trains were not a problem, but people walking around at midnight talking on their phone was annoying. Managers were very nice and park was clean.

Positives- pool, horseshoe, zip line for kids, nice playground, big grassy areas. Clean store restrooms laundry. Negatives- 45 minute drive to KC. Train horns 24/7, camp sites super close to one another

If you are noise sensitive you will have plenty to complain about between train horns and highway traffic. We are not. This is a spacious and very well maintained campground. Nice dog park, nice playground and pool. Lots of open space. Great location for family get togethers. Plan on doing laundry elsewhere, only one dryer working properly.

The folks were very friendly and helpful. We only stayed the one night as we were traveling home. The KOA location was easy to find and access to the parking site was easy to access.

Very good KOA, with exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. We suggest improving the signage from the interstate to the KOA. We missed a turn that was not adequately marked and had to mark a tricky u-turn with our rig.

It was a nice place as most KOA's are. There are busy train tracks nearby somewhere and we were offered earplugs on check-in, which was considerate but unnecessary; train noise not that loud. The trash dumpster should have been emptied more often; full on arrival and 2 days later when we left. It was so full that we took our trash with us when we departed to toss at the next stop.

Hosts were super friendly. Bathrooms clean. Our electric only site was grassed and very nice. We thought the train blowing its horn was a nice added bonus! If it’s not to you they offered free ear plugs! Cute kids play areas.

The people are very nice. The play area, zip line are cool. I think the zip line seat should be replaced. The rv spots are pretty tight together. The bathrooms were clean. They also have a laundry room. Fenced doggy area. Horse shoes.

Wow, the staff are wonderful. And facilitys is very clean with room to say Hi to other camper. Pet friendly. Nice location.
