The location is not too bad, there is a major road nearby - if you are in a tent you can hear it but it's not terribly loud (at least when we went, late November). There are also freight trains that go by. Other than that we had no complaints; staff was pleasant and is being very kind to care for the cats that people dump on the side of the road (best wishes to them). Lubbock is easy to get around

Well I was in a camp site right next to the dumpster. The flies and smell were terrible. I had to eat in my truck. Couldn't sleep in my tent cause of flies. Luckily my truck has an camper shell. Also feral cats hanging out by back door of office/store. Bathrooms were eh ok.

Passed through Lubbock twice while on vacation. Everything was fine. The bathrooms were clean but the stalls, toilets, and paper towel despenser all could use some work and be updated. Friendly people and I felt safe as always with KOA.

Tent spots close to restrooms. I was in the tent spot right next to road. Some road noise but it wasn't bad at all. Quiet area besides that.

We've stayed in the deluxe cabin on all our other trips, but since I was traveling alone, I elected to camp this time. I felt safe, the site was well-maintained, and as always, the check in/out process was smooth.

Very nice level grass field for putting up a tent. Great shower. Very friendly owners.

The campground is right next to a major road and railroad tracks. I got a tent camping spot. They put those tent spots right next to the road instead of locating them somewhere quitter on the property. KOA had the dumpster right next to the site I was assigned, which stunk like dead thing. Then they have bloody roosters like 25' from the tent sites... Not a lot of sleep happened. Not rushing back

The noise level was unbearable. Between the traffic, trains, roosters, helicopters and neighbors I slept only an hour or so. Due to a poorly placed dog poop container the stench was awful. The smelly dumpster next to the dog poo was the finishing touch. Lovely

We had a lot of fun. Enjoyed the indoor pool. Great tent camping area. Staff was awesome. We'll be back for sure.

I did not get to stay because I could not make it! I was advised by the office there are no refunds!!! Sadly I cannot say the experience was good or the staff!

I would like to rate this location higher, but two issues prevent this: highway noise and the location of a dumpster right next to our tent site. In all fairness, the Lubbock KOA cannot control the increase in traffic on US84, but it does impact the ability to get a good night's rest. However, they can relocate the dumpster. Since people would not always close the lid, the odor was always present.

Single night stay. Tent site was grass, which was nice. Staff had watered the spot, so driving in our tent stakes was easy. The location is beautiful, and I especially enjoyed the rooster crowing in the morning.

Great KOA to pull in and pitch our tent for the night. Grounds were well kept and the staff was very friendly.

Not as clean as other KOAs we have stayed at. The woman who checked us in was rude and didn’t seem to be happy to be there. Diesel and train traffic all hours of the day made it difficult to sleep, much less the permanent residents with their loud vehicles in the early morning.

Everything was nice and clean. The people were friendly, but the noise from the freeway at night was extremely loud. Not the KOA’s fault, but it was hard to sleep.

Nice and level tent spots. Clean restrooms and friendly staff. Some road noise so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Will stay here again.

Just an overnight tent sight before driving to UT. Worked for what I needed but don't know that it was different than any other option would have been.

This is the worst campground I've been to. It is right next to a major interstate. It was extremely loud all night long. There are sickly looking cats wondering around. The bathroom was a mess. The fire pit was a few loose bricks in a square shape. The picnic tables are wobbly. Horrible night, couldn't wait to leave.
