Staff was helpful and friendly. Camp is in very good shape. Only drawback was that the office & store are never open in the evenings. The text message 1 hour before closing to see if you need something was a nice touch & there are other stores nearby where you can get essentials, but longer hours would be nice.

Very nice site (had deluxe site #76), Very friendly staff. Mark was a hoot. Would like to have had paved roads. The dog park was great. The only other thing that seemed peculiar was the restroom/shower setup. We would definitely stay there again.

Cabin was clean. Bathrooms were clean. Didnt care for the unisex showers but they were clean. Liked the location close to the lake, dark sky park and mackinaw city.

I arrived after hours and was still able to check in and get our cabin. The pool was very chilly. Office hours are very limited and staff was wonderful very reasonably priced for forgotten items. Everything was close to our site. WIFI worked great. Their was no on site airpump that I am used to at other camp grounds but there is a gas station a few minutes away.

All the staff were very friendly! The campground is well maintained and all of the facilities were extremely clean. We plan to return by the end of Summer!

The staff here is excellent they take very good care of their campers. Mark is one of the workers there and he is very friendly and helpful. Would totally recommend this location to my friends and family. I will be back again.

great place to stay when in the area. close to everything but out of the way and quite.,clean park and bathrooms. great people that can help with all questions. lots to do for the kids. Clean swimming pool. Nice shaded sites. We stayed 2 night and would stay here again when in the area

Stayed at a deluxe patio site, and would highly recommend. The campground was well kept, the staff very friendly. You can text them when you need ice or wood and they will deliver it to your site! The bike path to town right from the camp was a welcome surprise.

I will say that it was very clean here but that’s about the only thing that was good about this KOA. The campsites were very small with little to no privacy and they close the 1 bathroom and shower area here for 2 hours between prime getting ready time of 11:00 to 1:00 which was super inconvenient for people on vacation trying to slow life down a bit.

Great campground!! Super clean, nice lots, quiet, beautiful WARM pool, friendly staff. We had a great time! Would definitely recommend and come back. Only cons….wish our groups 2 sites could have been closer together and maybe quiet hours starting at 11:00 instead of 10:00.

The team is really welcoming and the campground was clean and had thoughtful amenities like assistance backing the camper into place, firewood delivery, cornhole, tables for playing cards by the pool and dog walk trails. We especially liked the clean and warm showers. Did I mention how welcoming the camp team was?! We will come back for sure!

We enjoyed a site backing up to the woods. The site was level. The area was clean. A staff member escorted us to our site. For a one night stay as we traveled through the area, the campground filled our requirements.

Site wasn’t level, cable tv didn’t work. The staff were friendly. I guess I am comparing this KOA to the first one we stayed at on out trip. Different places, different experience.

Very disappointed with site 87. Could use a concrete pad, grass and some gravel. No cable or sewer. Bathrooms were nice and clean as were the showers. Staff was friendly. Left a day early after a night of rain and thunderstorms.

We had a large, level site that backed in to trees. Restrooms were clean and well lit. Having the hooks and shelf there was helpful. All staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was warm and clean. It’s nice to have laundry open 24hours though we didn’t need it this trip. Store had short hours but they gave us a number to text if we needed anything. Thanks for a great stay.

Very friendly staff. Kids had lots of fun with the activities that where available to them. Loved the location as we were a short bike ride to Mackinac city and the ferries to the island. Was very peaceful at night.

We really enjoyed our stay there, it was very clean and quiet. The trail that you can ride your bike to downtown was wonderful.

This campground was great to stay in after our day on Mackinac Island. We arrived right before the office closed at 6pm on Saturday and were able to get firewood and checked in. You can't get firewood after 6 as far as I know so if you need firewood and will get there after hours, get some on the way in. The campground was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, and we had a great time staying in our Kamping Kabin with our two dogs.

This is the nicest KOA we've camped at. The sites are spaced apart with maple trees between each site. Beautiful for Fall camping. The facilities get A+ on cleanliness, on enough showers, and on hot water in the showers! The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They have outdoor games for kids, bikes for rent, the bike trail runs close to the park, and they have a free shuttle to the ferry. We will definitely camp here again if we are in the area.
