Friendly staff, nice facilities, only downside is the 2 bundles of firewood we brought home. We preordered the firewood before our stay but weather made it impossible to use. We asked for a refund since the bundles where on unopened they could not accommodate a refund at check out. We would use this camp ground again on a future stay.

Very helpful, welcoming, friendly staff! Our vacation was almost canceled because a non-KOA camp had told us they had WiFi - and they did not. We had to scramble because my son was now missing college courses as a result. Then we found this KOA and were very happy with the site, WiFi, the beautiful nature trail, and a staff that truly cared that our needs and wants were taken care of. Well done!

Unfortunately. Got in after dark and was unable to set up camp and left before daylight the next morning. However I REALLY wish I had got in earlier. The site was very large and the bathhouse very clean. Would have loved to go down to the beach. Unfortunately I probably will not get back to the area again since I live in AZ. I have been quite pleased with the value of KOA

I could not say how much I loved my stay in only 400 characters. Suffice to say, this was the BEST KOA we ever stayed at. The owners could be the standard for all other KOAs. They could teach they have such talent and compassion. We will be back again.

The staff was great. I loved it had a pool it was crazy hot. Loved they delivered anything you needed to your campsite. Also, had very good wifi.

Sites are very clean. Would have been nice for the tent sites to be closer to the bathrooms & showers. Fairly clean restrooms and showers. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Super friendly & helpful staff! My friend lost a ring @ the site & wasn't aware until the camp called us. They sent the ring back. They really go out of their way to make it great, even after u leave! Very clean & quiet. Close to everything. Definitely worth the 4.5hr drive! Site trash pickup&wood/ice delivery.They made it GREAT! THANX KOA!

We enjoyed a site backing up to the woods. The site was level. The area was clean. A staff member escorted us to our site. For a one night stay as we traveled through the area, the campground filled our requirements.

First time staying at a KOA campground, facilities were all very clean. Super helpful staff. Kathleen made it easy and was very helpful when I needed to change my reservation dates

Stayed for the whole week campground is clean and super well maintained and the staff is super friendly and helpful if you’re camping in mackinaw I would definitely recommend staying here

This was one of our favorite KOAs. We tent camp and appreciate wooded sites with electricity and water as well as shaded sites and this campground had all three. The staff was super friendly and they took great care to make sure the restrooms and showers were thoroughly cleaned. They also delivered firewood to your site. Although we didn't use the pool, it was clean and warm.

The staff was very friendly, the campsite was kept clean with frequent rotations by the staff to clean and prepare checked-out sites for the next camper(s), and the only issue we had was that we could not hang up our hammock on the trees, per their request. A minor inconvenience compared to how conveniently located this campground is to the Dark Sky Park. We'll be back!

This campground was great to stay in after our day on Mackinac Island. We arrived right before the office closed at 6pm on Saturday and were able to get firewood and checked in. You can't get firewood after 6 as far as I know so if you need firewood and will get there after hours, get some on the way in. The campground was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, and we had a great time staying in our Kamping Kabin with our two dogs.

This is the nicest KOA we've camped at. The sites are spaced apart with maple trees between each site. Beautiful for Fall camping. The facilities get A+ on cleanliness, on enough showers, and on hot water in the showers! The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They have outdoor games for kids, bikes for rent, the bike trail runs close to the park, and they have a free shuttle to the ferry. We will definitely camp here again if we are in the area.
