Everything was very good to great except for our campsite #37. It appeared there had been some excavation. Where the camper was parked was pretty good easy to level but the ground conditions along the entrance side of our camper was very uneven and had quite a slope at the base of the steps that made it difficult when going in and out. couldn't use area under canopy. In all we had a nice stay.

I wish we had more time! So convenient to everything up north and the bike trail was wonderful. This facility had the friendliest people even considering that it was the end of the camping season in Michigan. It was also the cleanest I have ever seen.

Clean campground well maintained. Staff were very friendly. But when getting ready to leave they told me they don’t like the Diesel engines running in the park. I was getting ready to pull out when they said something. The dog barking across from my campsite was making more noise than my engine!

One of the top KOA campgrounds in which we have stayed. Beautiful location in the trees, near town and hiking/bike path. The customer service was outstanding. Other KOAs should operate like this one

Check out time was 11am, I was sitting in our truck waiting for my husband to double check the lights because we had a loose wire he fixed. A man came by and told us checkout time was 11am sharp. I looked at the clock, it was 11:06. Nobody was waiting for our site. We understand you need to have a time, but we feel safety first. Neighbors campfire was so close to our camper we couldn't open window

I could not say how much I loved my stay in only 400 characters. Suffice to say, this was the BEST KOA we ever stayed at. The owners could be the standard for all other KOAs. They could teach they have such talent and compassion. We will be back again.

All of the staff was very friendly, checking in was fast and easy!! The bathrooms and shower rooms were clean!! Will definitely be coming back!!

Staff is exceptional. Easy to get onto and out of. Wish more sites had pads. It rained and was pretty muddy.

The delivery of firewood and such to our campsite is terrific. We had the most interaction with Mark and he was just a lovely person to visit with and get the lay of the land, so to speak. Thank you for a lovely weekend at the bridge to watch the antique tractors.

Loved the setting in the trees, the availability of the bike path, the shuttle to town & especially the staff.. the friendliest, most helpful staff ever at a KOA… & we’ve stayed at many all over the country!

We’ve come back here year after year. Always wonderful staff. Very pleasant. Clean cabins, restrooms. The grounds are always well manicured. They send text messages to remind us before the store closes and deliver any things we request. Highly recommend a stay here.

This campground was great to stay in after our day on Mackinac Island. We arrived right before the office closed at 6pm on Saturday and were able to get firewood and checked in. You can't get firewood after 6 as far as I know so if you need firewood and will get there after hours, get some on the way in. The campground was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, and we had a great time staying in our Kamping Kabin with our two dogs.

This is the nicest KOA we've camped at. The sites are spaced apart with maple trees between each site. Beautiful for Fall camping. The facilities get A+ on cleanliness, on enough showers, and on hot water in the showers! The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They have outdoor games for kids, bikes for rent, the bike trail runs close to the park, and they have a free shuttle to the ferry. We will definitely camp here again if we are in the area.
