This was our second year coming to this KOA, and we’ve already booked a site for next year! The staff here is amazing - so kind, friendly, and helpful! Everything is kept very clean. We enjoyed the walking trail. This KOA is right near the Bridge. close to many restaurants and shops, and has a shuttle to the ferry to Mackinaw Island. We definitely recommend this KOA!

Very nice campground, shade trees are a bonus. You can tell that a lot of effort went into making it a nice campground, from the pool, to the facilities, to the campground layout. It wouldn't hurt to mention to campers on check-in, that quiet hours start at 10pm. My adjacent neighbors didn't have a clue, or didn't care. I would stay again.

Campground and site is nice as for workers the people in the campground store very nice the ground keepers absolutely rude and getting in your business on us about bringing in wood from down the road getting after us about towels hanging in the trees didn't inform us about poison ivy behind are site wanted to cut are grass while we were camping

Best KOA we have ever been to. Great location and unbelievable service! They got it right! Nicest staff and clean bathrooms as well as laundry facilities. Would highly recommend. Shepler's shuttle and ferry were fantastic too.

We enjoyed this KOA so much. Only wish we had longer to stay here. A 2 mile easy bike ride into Mackinaw City. The campground was very peaceful and everyone was so nice. We will definitely stay here again. Remember to bring quarters if you need to use laundry facilities. You have to get change from the office and they had closed by the time I realized that.

The campground is clean and nicely shaded. The pool was refreshing. Check in office/store was clean, many different food & drinks, camping necessities, clothing & souvenirs. Purchasing tickets for ride over to Mackinac Island was easy. Shuttle took us to pier. Would be nice if it would allow you to ride for a fee to just visit city. Had a great time!

Stayed 9 days, wish we could have stayed longer. The staff is great! Upon arrival, they escort you to your site and help with parking. Very nice. Thank you

Nice stay overall. Staff were friendly and while near all the Mackinaw City attractions it was nice to be away from the crowds!

Arrived at 7:00 pm (after office closed) Had notified office. All my paperwork was in the yellow box. Campground clean and neat. Bathrooms clean and neat. Quiet after 10. Enjoyed our brief overnight stay.

We had a deluxe campsite and it was very nice. The staff's friendliness is unsurpassed. They were very welcoming and accessible. My only complaint was KOA info said there was a trolley that came directly to the campsite. It does not. It goes to area hotels but not KOA Campground. We had planned a day for this so the tour of the city didn't happen for us. But that's ok. Staff were great.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Facilities were very clean. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looked very nice.

Nice campground close to town. Most sites are gravel and grass. Staff was very nice and appreciated the text updates they send. The only downside was the receiver for the campgrounds cable system kept resetting. If you were watching something you might miss some of it.

KOA's are pretty consistent about design, placement and services and this one was well in the range, there was a shuttle to pick us and our bikes to go to Mackinac island. I thought it said a discount but I didn't see one for the service compared to the ferry web site, No harm no foul. Clean consistent with shade and plugins that was what we were looking for.

This is the best KOA we have stayed at. The bathrooms & showers were very clean. They picked up the garbage if put out in the morning, Everyone was very attentive to our needs and questions. We felt very safe there and did not worry about our belongings. Camping today is not like years ago. You must make sure all your items are locked up or they may be missing when you return or awake.

We have never stayed @ a Class A camp site. It was nice to not have to take your chairs & grill out. Will stay again @ a KOA.

Super clean bathrooms, private showers with hot water and good pressure, heated pool which made it fun to swim on 70 degree days, shuttle rides to Mackinaw Island ferry, and friendly helpful staff. We had a great time!

I love that all spaces are pull-through options. That makes it so very easy for us that have a difficulty with backing in. Nice place, clean pool and bathrooms.

We had a great time! Exceptionally clean, and organized campground! This was our first time at a KOA and everything went seamlessly. The flexibility with the staff was great as well as the perks (ferry shuttle, bike rentals, etc) I will for sure be booking here again!

Camp sites were too small. Had to park my truck literally up to the camper to make it fit since I could not park it off to the side where there was grass growing. Pool was dirty. No soap in one of the soap dispensers for at least 2 days. 1 toilet stall had no toilet paper at 10 minutes after 1pm after cleaning. Cable tv half the channels were snowy. We got better reception by turning on the

Pull through site was so small, it only accommodated our camper. Had to squeeze in our truck up next to the camper and could not open our awning or have a fire. Yes they knew the size of the camper at booking. Specifically requested a large site when booking. Did not happen.

This campground was great to stay in after our day on Mackinac Island. We arrived right before the office closed at 6pm on Saturday and were able to get firewood and checked in. You can't get firewood after 6 as far as I know so if you need firewood and will get there after hours, get some on the way in. The campground was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, and we had a great time staying in our Kamping Kabin with our two dogs.

This is the nicest KOA we've camped at. The sites are spaced apart with maple trees between each site. Beautiful for Fall camping. The facilities get A+ on cleanliness, on enough showers, and on hot water in the showers! The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They have outdoor games for kids, bikes for rent, the bike trail runs close to the park, and they have a free shuttle to the ferry. We will definitely camp here again if we are in the area.
