Very friendly staff in the office and very convenient ferry shuttle that picks you up from the KOA. Also, there’s a nice trail into town. Highly recommend!

We experienced a serious tooth problem. Kath li een provided name of nearby dentist and he made appt with special endodontic Dr same day for root canal. Saved our vacation.. Management and staff were great, some of best we have had at a KOA. Facilities were top notch.

Excellent location and the staff couldn't be anymore helpful. I would highly recommend this KOA if you're looking for a great location and a clean well run establishment.

Loved my stay, a little disappointed that some campers were bringing their dogs into the bathrooms. We will be back next year. Thanks for all you do!

The staff were helpful from the time we arrived helping us park and afterwards checking to see if we needed anything. The staff is A+!

It was great that you treated the roads. I stayed two years ago and it was such a dust bowl, swore I’d never stay there again at that time. Happy that I gave it another chance. Good job. Also all the KOA folks were very nice and helpful.

Great campground! Very clean & well taken care of. Nice friendly owners (out working all the time) & staff. Our pull-thru site #57 was perfectly level. Direct access to MI's great biking trails, very close Mackinac Island ferries. Just a few miles to Headlands Dark Skies Park. Highly recommend this park. Great for RVs of all sizes.

The staff was very helpful, kind and pleasant. We were happy with our site and they were very accommodating to relocate us close to two other couples we were traveling with. We used the pool for a short time and the staff came to warn us of bad weather approaching so on their advice we returned to our camper just in the nick of time before it began to pour down. We enjoyed our stay very much.

My children who had hotels in Mackinaw city were charged $5 EACH for a few minutes visit every time they came ! They refused to visit because of fees . NOT EXCEPTIBLE.

The campground was clean, the staff was very friendly. I enjoyed the text to remind me about ice and firewood, just in case I forgot. They understood our situation and were very accommodating. Thank you all!!

Enjoyed many aspects of this camp- very clean and attentive staff, also close & convenient to many activities. Only thing we didn't care for was our site location in the camp backing to main road-heard lots of loud traffic noise very close by. Next time we will select a site further in the back away from the playground and road.

Efficient and friendly checkin. Staff even recommended a more suitable campsite for me and reimbursed me for the difference in cost. Clean and quiet. Dog friendly. Easy access to the area, including shuttle service to the ferry.

We enjoy staying in KOA Mackinac city (journey). Everyone is so pleasant to work with, the park is clean, quiet, and it makes our stay worth it all. We have already booked twice for next year, and we’ll be looking forward to it.

Your place is the best! Lots of friendly staff, the sites are clean, the bike trail is awesome, the location is perfect, the text messages & reminders made us feel so welcome, easy check in and check out, beautiful property, everyone was so respectful of the rules, and I could go on and on. This campground is a gem!

A very convenient location to explore Mackinac Island and the surrounding area. This is a KOA Journey location With a nice pool and small store. As you would expect with a journey location, it’s very easy to get to off the interstate and very easy to get back on it from this location.

This campground was great to stay in after our day on Mackinac Island. We arrived right before the office closed at 6pm on Saturday and were able to get firewood and checked in. You can't get firewood after 6 as far as I know so if you need firewood and will get there after hours, get some on the way in. The campground was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, and we had a great time staying in our Kamping Kabin with our two dogs.

This is the nicest KOA we've camped at. The sites are spaced apart with maple trees between each site. Beautiful for Fall camping. The facilities get A+ on cleanliness, on enough showers, and on hot water in the showers! The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They have outdoor games for kids, bikes for rent, the bike trail runs close to the park, and they have a free shuttle to the ferry. We will definitely camp here again if we are in the area.
