Cabin was clean. Bathrooms were clean. Didnt care for the unisex showers but they were clean. Liked the location close to the lake, dark sky park and mackinaw city.

I arrived after hours and was still able to check in and get our cabin. The pool was very chilly. Office hours are very limited and staff was wonderful very reasonably priced for forgotten items. Everything was close to our site. WIFI worked great. Their was no on site airpump that I am used to at other camp grounds but there is a gas station a few minutes away.

I will say that it was very clean here but that’s about the only thing that was good about this KOA. The campsites were very small with little to no privacy and they close the 1 bathroom and shower area here for 2 hours between prime getting ready time of 11:00 to 1:00 which was super inconvenient for people on vacation trying to slow life down a bit.

Great campground!! Super clean, nice lots, quiet, beautiful WARM pool, friendly staff. We had a great time! Would definitely recommend and come back. Only cons….wish our groups 2 sites could have been closer together and maybe quiet hours starting at 11:00 instead of 10:00.

Staff was incredibly nice. Pool was the perfect temperature. Nice bikes to rent. Cabin was comfortable. Close to town, clean bathrooms, no complaints at all! Will return!

There is no cleaner campground anyplace. The staff are just like my family away from family every year. I would not even consider staying anyplace else when I come up north every year. They go out of their way to help every person and are genuinely happy to see and greet you. The campground is beautiful and so are the people who work there. Just Cannot wait to get back there every single year.

We had a wonderful time. Staff were so kind to us! It was a great mother/son weekend. The cabin was clean! We will certainly be back. LOVED the hiking/biking trail that leads into town. This saved us time and parking each time we went into town.

We enjoyed our week at the Mackinaw City KOA. It's a short drive to downtown but only 5 minutes from a gorgeous public access beach. The pool was nice and the mural (in progress) is lovely. Kind employees, too. I wish they had postings of local events, though. We missed Friday night fireworks near the bridge but would have enjoyed it. Mackinaw City isn't as touristy as the island, very cute town.

Cabin was clean and made for a great get away home base! Kids enjoyed the pool. The only downside was being next to a place the staff constantly drove between my cabin and the neighbors cabin.

Everything was very clean, including the showers and bathrooms. It was great buying our ferry tickets at camp and getting a shuttle ride there and back. Trail was close by. And the pool was very clean and warm. We had a wonderful time.

A very amazing staff on hand always! Everyone is so inviting and so nice! Everything is always tip top and cleaned very well. We never go anywhere else besides this specific KOA. Forever our favorite!

Great KOA and loved that the staff enforced the quiet hours rules. Bathrooms were fairly clean, but showers had a lot of hair in them, but that's understandable due to the abundance of people at the campground.

We had a great stay at the Mackinaw City KOA. The sites were clean, staff were friendly, and bathrooms were very clean! Showers were always HOT so that was a huge plus. Would definitely stay here again!

Our cabin was great! Very, very clean with lots of room and a bunch of shelves to put our things on. The picnic table looked almost new. It was close to Mackinaw City and all the tourist things but far enough away to be quiet and secluded. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Clean modern bathrooms, people obey the quiet hours, cabins were as clean as hotel, if arriving late, they make it easy to get your site, text each day before office closes to see if anyone needs wood or ice. Great location. Lots to do for kids.

Friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable employees plus an adorable and very clean cabin (with a porch swing!) made for a great overnight stay. I would definitely recommend this KOA to others and will stay here again in the future when I am in the Mackinaw City area. I also loved the texts. My expectations were exceeded, thank you!

This campground was great to stay in after our day on Mackinac Island. We arrived right before the office closed at 6pm on Saturday and were able to get firewood and checked in. You can't get firewood after 6 as far as I know so if you need firewood and will get there after hours, get some on the way in. The campground was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, and we had a great time staying in our Kamping Kabin with our two dogs.

This is the nicest KOA we've camped at. The sites are spaced apart with maple trees between each site. Beautiful for Fall camping. The facilities get A+ on cleanliness, on enough showers, and on hot water in the showers! The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They have outdoor games for kids, bikes for rent, the bike trail runs close to the park, and they have a free shuttle to the ferry. We will definitely camp here again if we are in the area.
